Signed up for their weekly specials and stop at this shop often for its selection of Italian reds and whites, French rosés, and Nova Scotia craft beer and organic sparkling wines. Highly recommend the wine workshops featuring their knowledgeable sommeliers at Wolfville’s fall event of the year: Devour! The Food Film Fest.

Best selection of liquor in town, and they have a great variety of drinks outside of North America! Also really nice to see the expanded Asian liquor selection as someone that grew up in BC and had access to more varied cultural drinks, it's nice that this exists in Halifax. Staff that work there are also super knowledgable re: recommendations :)

Good selection of alcohol and a few fridges available to get cold drinks right away. There is a modest quantity of different brand Asian alcoholic beverages such as sake, soju, and plum wine that you won’t be able to find at regular NSLC locations. They have expanded previously to fill in two normal storefront locations, so there are more choices available than before. Excellent location at the waterfront near some hotels and restaurants (no need to go uphill to NSLC).

What a wonderful service and great choices of wine. It is the only place in maritime you can get tht best selections. They know everything and explain each customers what they want. Just go inside and aske them what you are looking for. We found great winery and some exotic wines. Thank you very much!

Very friendly and highly knowledgeable staff here, always willing to help answer questions, make recommendations, or just have a friendly chat.

What makes this place unique is the variety of alcoholic beverages available. They have everything from small companies to larger imports you wouldn't find in other locations.

They also have a great website that you can order from with free shipping in Nova Scotia if you meet the minimum.

Definitely a recommendation if you are having trouble locating something in particular.

My husband loves craft beer and specialty whiskey. The staff make it easy to surprise him with something I know he'll love every time. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgable, making this a must-stop for our out-of-town friends looking to bring something home with them. (They're also open a little later than other stores—we love a flexible shop.)

Surprisingly good prices for the great location and high-quality feel of the place. Selection restricted a bit by the size of the store, so they don't mess around all that much with what's easy to find at your local NSLC; keep that in mind as a plan B if you can't find what you're looking for.

For anyone who's struggling to find bike parking on Lower Water like I was, try near the waterfront past the parking lot - should be 4 spots there.

Really cool store! Has lots of interesting selection and is the only place you can get soju! I really liked the staff, they were nice and informative. The inside of the store honestly is just very pretty as well

He pointed out one of my favourite breweries (Bellwoods), and some new beers that they had in that I hadn't tried. You should give this guy a raise!
