Canex Expressmart

First time coming here, literally amazing. So cozy and the customer service was unlike anything we experience in Victoria. Shout out to the lady that helped us, so funny and kind<3

This Canex is absolutely amazing!! I am so happy they have Tim Hortons ! I don't even live in Belmont park but I make my way there almost every morning too get my coffee!
The staff are so amazing and extremely friendly! They are the reason I keep on coming back almost every day!!

Unfortunately when you're to much stubborn to listen you deserve a bad reviews... That sad because usually I have a good service there with the young guys... But this morning with the old lady...omg a nightmare!

It was an extremely odd and uncomfortable situation I had with this store. We moved here recently and were super excited to have a little corner store for odds and ends. We walked down to the store, obviously following covid procedures we waited outside and the attendant came and told us we needed to wait for one more person to leave before they could accommodate us. Absolutely!! So a customer leaves, a man walks up. Asks if we're waiting, we say yes. He walks in. The customer who left, sees the exchange and goes back in after the man to tell him he needs to wait like the rest of the line (there was also another person waiting behind us). He doesn't, finishes his shopping... We go in still no complaints, as I get customers can take situations into their own hands and it's not the staff attendants fault. We do our quick shopping and at check out the clerk is now berating us for the incident saying we were standing too close to the door (we were at the orange line at the doors where we believed it started) and she had came to talk to us while we were waiting so if this was the issue I don't understand why she didn't mention it then. I was so shocked and appalled by this service I couldn't even fathom a response.. So yeah, I will not be returning.

been going here the better part of two years now almost two three times a week coffee here snack there staff has always been pleasant and polite well up until now.
to preface my review I often use a small skateboard to get around the neighborhood to avoid wasting gas for such a short trip and always am respectful on how I hold it and carry it within businesses as not to mark or knock things over, I have been riding for the better part of 15 years and understand the stigma behind it.
but since I have become an adult Its been generally a non issue, every other store nearby as it has been for the two years I have frequented this Canex.
I entered the store grabbed my two items from the cooler and was waiting in front of the desk to pay and was told I could not make a purchase until I left my deck outside, to again preface this my skateboard cost around 380 dollars and would be like asking to leave the keys in your car while you make a purchase, I asked why and was told company policy I asked when this happened as I frequent there weekly and the girl said she's new that's the policy. I told her I felt very uncomfortable since its expensive and was not going to put it down at anytime and ended up putting my items back and leaving as she would not take my purchase.
I went two minutes down the road to London drugs same circumstances same items and was served with no issue.
I generally like shopping at the store to help military positive businesses there are other options only a minute away who are glad to serve me so I have to say one star wont come back as I feel unwelcome.

Worst experience ever! There is no such thing as a legal age to get a energy drink! I'm 18 and I can vote and serve and die for my country but can't buy a energy drink are you kidding me. Lady was super disrespectful as well!
