I’ve never liked Superstore but I like THIS downtown Superstore. It’s really clean, organized, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. One time I didn’t have a loonie for a shopping cart but the service desk kindly provided a small token. This staff and management do “the little things” that we don’t often see in large corporate grocery stores.

I love the large selection of organic products and produce! Also great is the availability of products from diverse cultures and countries.

There’s excellent underground parking with a touchscreen upstairs to enter license plate.

Despite the location, I never feel unsafe inside the store or in the well lite and maintained garage.

I love this superstore. It’s not overly busy and also have heated underground parking. Love the pick up service in the underground parking which is great for winter. Lots of selection, and clean. There are some homeless time to time to buy stuff, beside than over all is very good and clean.

This store was large, clean, isles were spacious, prices were clearly marked, and had everything a big supermarket chain would usually stock. The self checkout was easy to use and it wasn’t too crowded. Would come back if I ever needed anything else while I’m in the city

I would like to take a moment to give appreciation to Ahmed the security guard that works in the lobby area in front of the TD bank. This man is an amazing person. My friend and I have a parking spot underneath the Superstore so we walk by him every day and every day he is so friendly and makes my day every single day. He’s such a lovely man and I wanted to give him some appreciation. If you’re seeing this Ahmed, thank you for everything you do!

We were excited when they announced the arrival of Real Canadian Superstore in East Village. Its a significant change from what's available in downtown.

The store is on the second floor with a smaller footprint. However, most essentials are available here and usually better stocked since most people don't think to come here.

Staff are efficient and maintain a clean environment that is inviting to shop at. The Joe clothing area is much smaller so choices are limited. However, there is a pharmacy which is convenient to have around.

This Superstore is worth going if you're in the area or you live nearby.

Besides the fact that the alarm goes off on a frequent basis, I like this store, it's not as huge as a Walmart, so you can get the shopping done faster. The produce is good quality. Lots of self checkout stations and a couple regular cashiers. Cash & card accepted, bring your reusable bag!

I typically don't review grocery stores, but I need to make an exception for this. It is absolutely mind blowing how so much space can be secured for a grocery store in the heart of downtown Calgary. Not even Walmart or Costco could have pulled it off. Every single grocery store downtown, looks like the slight extension or big brother, of a gas station convenience store, but this right here is the truth. What's even more shocking to me is, I still have to tell people who live downtown, that they have a Superstore location close to them downtown. Did you ask if they were able to secure parking? Well for sure. Just drive in through 6th Ave and you'll see the entrance to the parking. There are alot of staff around to help you with direction to and from the elevator and to help you with groceries pick-up if need be.

The store is very clean, well stocked, and the employees were very pleasant. It's not quite as large as a normal superstore (I didn't see a clothing section, for example) but for food it should have almost everything you need! Don't even need to leave downtown for cheap groceries now, yay.

This is an amazing store but I fear for its survival due to what must just be horrendous retail theft by drug addicts and the homeless who frequent this area near the Drop In Center. Despite Loblaws paying "Asset Manager" representatives in black vests at the exits, I watched many of them being ill-effective. Their job is to check receipts of customers leaving the store like Costco does but the problem is that they are really only checking those customers who appear to be well-to-do, clean, honest patrons such as myself when I play along and present my receipt to them. They smile, draw a stroke with their pen and probably breathe a sigh of relief that it was a pleasant experience for them. However, I watched a suspicious individual with a backpack or satchel walk through the self-check-out area as if they haven't bought anything and when approaching the "Asset Managers", their ball cap is pulled down, they avert their gaze and have a deliberate quick walk like they are mad. I don't blame the young, small, "person-of-colour or race" for not wanting to challenge them figuring "oh well, this will happen..." and they walk out... problem is that it happens enough times, then honest customers end up paying for the loss through increased prices. I have personally walked past Calgary's "most stained street" being the block in front of the Drop In centre and see homeless eating full containers of strawberries, containers of yogurt, chips, lunch meat that even I don't buy due to the cost. This is a product our municipal society and incompetent woke Mayor who has no interest in finding a solution and yet our police officers hands are tied with the poor justice system that lets it go on. RETAIL THEFT GOES ON RIGHT UNDER THE STORE'S NOSE HIDDEN IN BACKPACKS OR SATCHELS WHICH NO ASSET MANAGER HAS THE RIGHT TO INSPECT !! THIEVES KNOW THIS AND IT WILL NEVER END !! When this store goes out of business, those of you who read this post will remember what I've said. I can only hope it finds its way to the Security Department but even then, nobody wants to do anything about it !! Its a sad time we live in and only going to get worse. We will never fix the "homeless problem" because they don't want to be helped.

Even Calgary’s superstore is big and beautiful. Other than it’s beautiful architecture, it’s a superstore, nothing more, nothing less.

It has everything one would expect, with a sprinkle of unnecessary price hikes as well 🥲.

Best place for shopping groceries in downtown Calgary. Prices are competitive and convenient for people who don't have their personal vehicle with them. Walkable distance from city hall LRT station.

The store is on the UPPER FLOOR of the building. I have never been to a grocery store where I had to take an elevator just to get to the store at all. Once you're in there, though, you can find anything that you need. They seem to have enough staff there at this moment, too.

It's a nice store, lots of variety for foods and international food. The only annoying thing about it is the crackheads and some customers of certain... though the staff is trying to it's best to keep the ceackheads away.

Nice store with helpful staff. Always fresh fruit and vegetables. Also, there is a toilet there. In edition there is a point where you can give back goods, which you don’t need.

This nice convenient superstore is finally open! Good layout, lots of natural light. Good parking underground the building. Has a nice selection of stuff and seems more varied than the other downtown grocery stores. Hope it does well!

Beautiful store nice neighborhood if they can get rid of the drop-in center. Too many drugs float out of that place

One of the best place to buy fresh vegitables and fruits. Shelf life of these products is best among all the grocery store.

What an incredible choice of fresh items. Go with a list so you’re not overwhelmed. The freezer section has amazing choices.
