Safeway Garrison Woods

This location has been renovated recently and it is gorgeous. The decor is minimal, spacious and organized, and everything is laid out for easy choice and a non cluttered environment.
The staff I find to be pleasant and efficient, at both self checkout or a staffed aisle.
I especially like all of the "ready to go meals" section - what an assortment!

I love the new updated Safeway! Produce is fresh, the store is clean and bright, and the staff are always very friendly and personable!!

Lovely Safeway in one of the loveliest neighborhoods in the city. I came here to receive a Western Union transfer and Keith was super friendly and helpful, amazing customer service! Gale was also excellent as well. Thank you!

this Safeway is so suspiciously identical to all other Safeways that i briefly considered that'd I'd been swallowed by an enormous mimic; luckily I didn't see any teeth inside and the walls didn't appear to be breathing and I did survive to write this weird review so I guess they had great prices on bell peppers.

Brown sugar shortage. So went here. Nothing. Nice clean store otherwise in a nice part of Calgary.

This store has been fully renovated and is beautiful inside. The selection is amazing in the fresh departments, with super friendly staff and an incredible selection of local items.

Larry in the fish department makes a beautiful shrimp and cheese stuffed Salmon. Thank you Larry.

I had a small issue with my most recent bakery purchase and the staff was friendly and helpful in remedying it.

The pharmacy staff is really helpful and offered some great information for using adult Tylenol/advil to deal with the current shortage in baby and children medications.

Note: The Safeway is undergoing a small renovation inside but it hasn't affected the store inventory or service.

Considering this store is under construction it was not too bad of a visit. I couldn't find the deli so I asked the employee in the bakery to direct me. She was very helpful.

I usually opt for self checkout at most places, but the cashiers here are always so sweet and friendly I end up going through them instead ! I don’t usually write reviews, but the cashier Nathan was so sweet this evening and happy to have a conversation, so I just thought I’d say he’s very kind employee and does great at his job! One of the best Safeways. :))

Not sure why they play a soundtrack while you get groceries

As my local grocery, I expect a lot. The team at this Safeway is consistently amazing. I have made friends with some of the front end staff. I love Alan I miss the announcements made by the very cheerful Butcher. During Covid the staff went above and beyond. I am glad to see their smiling faces again.

This Safeway is the best. The staff are friendly. A sales associate Rick has been particularly helpful over the years, and we are grateful for staff members like him. Great work!

This is a really nice Safeway! It’s such a nice shopping experience going in there. It’s clean and cozy but spacious. It’s well organized and has an excellent selection. I always find what I need which is a bonus!

This is a great Safeway store. People are always friendly and helpful here. I am never made to feel guilty about asking a question to the staff.
The store is always clean and sell stocked so I can count on getting anything that I need there.
The location is triple A and there ample parking. That is pretty much everything one could want from a grocery store.
