I love this place. It’s convenient, fully stocked, and Monissh is just a pleasure to interact with. There’s always a smile and a good conversation to be had. I’m so glad this place is in my neighbourhood.

My kids love it too. My youngest often comes home with a big smile and an extra treat and feels as though he’s been treated like someone special. I highly recommend supporting this great local business.

Very happy with this place as an Amazon pickup location. The gentleman working was very kind. He mentioned the importance of supporting small businesses and gave me a free candy! He was very kind.

Just note that they actually close at 6pm on Sundays, not 8pm as it says on Google/amazon.

I always took my daughter here after school for freezies or snacks, friendly service, good grocery selection as well.

The new owners are very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. They have a good selection of grocery items and good prices for a smaller store. They are very community minded and I love having a well stocked store so close to walk to and it is always a pleasure to spark up a conversation. Support your local small business or there won't be any.

I wanted to make english muffins, but did not have all the ingredients to do so, and it was a Sunday so the local grocery store was closed. I came to Barchet’s searching for flour, oil, jam, and hopefully buttermilk. I was happy (and surprised) to find all of this at their location, as they have a wide variety of goods. I foolishly decided to hold all of this in my arms, instead of using one of the baskets that they provide, and while reaching in the fridge for an Arizona brand iced tea, I dropped the bag of flour i had nestled in my arms. The bag had broken, with a tear on the side, and some flour was spilling out. I apologized for the mess, and the owner told me to bring the bag of flour to the counter. She proceeded to tape up the bag with scotch tape and told me to put the flour in an airtight container as soon as I got home, so as to keep the flour from spoiling. I thanked her, apologized once more, and I was on my way. This is the best corner store in Wolseley, and I will be coming here many times over.
