British Food Co.

I finally had the chance to come down to the store and was pleasantly surprised with the options! There were chips, snacks, soups, and so many pantry staples from across the water. From clotted creams, vegemite, pasta and sauce.. I spent some time browsing and still didn’t check everything out.

The snack selection was superb + drinks too! Really nice choices for your favourite UK items. The two ladies manning the register were such a delight to talk to about products. Hope to maybe see more lighting in the store in the future so all the products can be shown off. Great Winnipeg gem for specialty snacks!

The only place in town (or anywhere else outside Toronto or England) where I can get Battenburg Cake ! They also carry many flavors of candy by Bonds of London, like blackcurrant and licorice. Staff are super helpful and friendly. They'll even ship to you.

Finding this store was a pleasant surprise. The selection is fabulous, and I found most of the items from Great Britain. Cadbury Roses!! :) The staff was very helpful and very cheerful. I just went in to buy few things and finished with a box full of goods with fond memories. The staff even delivered my purchase to my car. My new favourite store from now on!! Keep up the good work guys!

I am from the UK and it was an absolute pleasure walking through this store and finding things I haven't eaten in years. Spent small fortune but worth every penny!! Would recommend to any UK national.

Great place for all your British food cravings. Twiglets. Yorkshire tea. Ginger nuts. Clotted cream. I mean what else could a girl want honestly.

First time in the shop today. Excellent selection of British foods, snacks, drinks, etc. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. I asked her about a particular item I didn't see, she offered to let me know when it's back in stock. Great shopping, I will most definitely be back. Thank You!

Amazing service and great selection. We live far but we make the drive at least once a week to stock up on our favourites!!! We even made a request for a certain snack and they ordered it and called us when it arrived. Cannot recommend this place enough!!!

So excited to have a British shop back in Winnipeg. The owners are very friendly. There are a lot of nice products that I haven't seen elsewhere in this city. Safeway carries a few of the same things but they are more affordable at British Food Co.

These are wonderful people who treat their customers like gold and always have new things in stock.

Love having this store in our neighbourhood! My husband is British, so we’ve been to the store several times already for things you can’t get anywhere else in the city! The selection is great and they’re always getting new products in, and the owners are so friendly!

British food that has become a staple of my meals. Great products and people!

Went into the store with my daughters on 12th October 2022 to see what British products they had. Such a great selection and needless to say we spent some money there. Friendly service and one of my daughters took photos and posted them on her Facebook. If you like British candies, chocolates or savoury foods, they have them and more.

Found this shop today and walked in to see what the have.
As soon as we stepped inside wifey started flying around the shelves putting things in her basket like she was on a Gameshow. After she calmed down and got everything she wanted we went through the checkout and was pleasantly surprised by the bill. Speciality shops like this one usually mark up the prices astronomicaly but a lot of the prices here were quite reasonable.
Shops like this deserve to be successful, but only if they can keep the prices reasonable.

First visit! So many new food options! Snackies, Irn Bru drink, so much. Even found irish breakfast tea that my daughter loves!

Nice to have a British grocery and sweet shop back in Winnipeg. Excited to see when the Christmas selection arrives
