Fantastic health food shopping experience in the Enjoy Center in St. Albert. A bit pricey but you get quality for what you spend. They offer a frequent-buyer program and definitely worth a visit.

Great selection, knowledgeable, friendly staff, very accommodating and prices are surprising affordable especially on CAD when you get 20% off!!! My favorite place to shop... like a kid in a candy store!

Amaranth is my go to store for anything organic. This upscale shop has excellent selection and knowledgable staff. Prices are a bit more but you get what you pay for. This isn't Walmart and that's a good thing.

On the third Wednesday of each month members get, I believe, a 15% discount.

Extremely healthy selections, great change of pace from the usual Walmart I'm used to in country. Very clean and organized with great staff. There's tons of specialty items for every health need or ailment , staff answers all questions. Prices are what you'd expect from a st Albert specialty store but you get what you pay for so it's usually high quality. Some items are upsold and clearly higher than they ought to be but there's sales and half off stickers you can take advantage of. Produce is always ripe and never rotten. Milk selection is amazing.

Incredibly diverse and large selections of clean food, and the two people who were stocking shelves were very kind and happy to help find what I needed. Prices are similar to other places selling the same packaged items, but this store is definitely a 1 stop shop. I found the bulk organic shredded coconut to be a great price! Perhaps if you stick to the bulk section you will find more bargains.

Amaranth is a regular shopping place for my family. The prices are in line and the produce is generally lovely and fresh! Selection and variety make me happy too! Doesn't hurt that the greenhouse upstairs makes the atmosphere feel fresh and the wondrous smells from the Glass House and the Wild Earth bakery are mouthwatering. It is a fabulous place to be! Thanks for being so nearby - I much prefer shopping local and supporting local farmers and vendors too!

I love this store and the staff. I shop at Amaranth for most of my fresh produce and meat. I like the fact that it's local farms that supply a large portion of the products and they have a rewards system where you can collect points and work towards a discount like bigger supermarkets.
I feel good that I'm supporting smaller businesses and the environment plus the money is staying in my community.
They have a bulk dry goods section where you can get local flour, beans, dried fruit, and other various items. As well as a health food section for personal items and supplements.
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and it's nice to actually see the same faces and hear a Hi Debbie when I walk up to the till.

The staff in the Health and Supplement area are very knowledgeable about all of their products. The staff in this area as well as in the main grocery store will go out of their way to answer your questions and help your in store or help you source a product. The prices are reasonable and their discount days make it a great time to shop. I prefer shopping here over some of the organic stores in the city and buy a wide variety of groceries and supplements from here.

Amaranth in the Enjoy Centre has a phenomenal selection of products, many of which I’ve never seen anywhere else. The store has a great layout and I LOVE that they started carrying our favourite Coconut Peanut Butter from the island of Oahu!

I posted a review a few years back but I want to say that I so appreciate having Amaranth in St Albert. In particular it's produce section - it's so well maintained, varied, fresh and high quality and the prices are reasonable and cheaper than some other organic store. I always say that it's the produce section that defines for me whether an organic store is good - organic products can be found in many supermarkets nowadays - but a consistent quality of organic produce makes Amaranth outstanding. I love shopping there and supporting this Sty Albert gem.

I love shopping at Amaranth St. Albert. It’s a quaint store, not overwhelming, just has the items we need. Trying to support local now more than ever and Amaranth makes it easy to do so. Lots of healthy options, although would still like to see more products with out canola, vegetable or seed oils in them.
Prices are comparable to any other health/organic shop options.

Beautiful, bright store, friendly staff and quality healthier products. I always find what I need! A store I get excited to shop in as I love the atmosphere. Save some money and head there on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Amaranth is our go-to store for anything 'green' and anything organic. If they don't have it in stock, they'll order it for us, with quick turnaround. It's the only place I buy daily-use flour, dried fruit, and pasta, as well as special diet goods.

I imagine that going to Amaranth at the Enjoy Centre, is a lot like what it used to be like to shop at the one general store in town. Yup, the customer service is THAT awesome! They are so ready to help and if they don't have it in store, they'll move heaven and earth to get it for me. And for those of us, who want to do the best for our bodies (and the environment) with food, supplements, cleaning products and personal care products - the selection is fantastic. This Thanksgiving Amaranth was all over my table and super high up on my gratitude list!!

I shop at Amaranth Enjoy Centre in St. Albert, Alberta monthly. They have an excellent selection of Gluten Free flours and organic options. There are breads, cereals, pasta, jams, and a lot more. Their prices are often less than the big box supermarkets. The staff is amazing and helpful and have a wealth of knowledge and information.
Go and check out Amaranth Enjoy Centre for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

I like coming here to check out new products and they always have unique items that you don’t typically see in regular grocery stores. Staff are always helpful and the environment is calming.

*UPDATED REVIEW* I previously wrote a negative review about Amaranth regarding an issue with a Magnesium supplement I purchased. Amaranth has since reached out and resolved the situation. I received excellent customer service from Faun in the wellness center. She was very responsive and personable, and renewed my confidence in Amaranth.

I shop at Amaranth on customer appreciation days 20% off regular price. I love the selection and the advice from staff. This is my go to store for supplements.

This store has opened our eyes to the ability of healthy eating and cooking! I have personally grown a whole new love of creating food and naturally grown products since being introduced to Amaranth! Thanks for your care and expertise of a healthy life!
