Lock Surgeon

We had to have a garden door repaired. Not only did the repair man come within two days of our phone call, but, showed up promptly at the time specified. The workman, Matt, was very detailed on what he had to do and went to collect the parts and returned quickly, finishing the job in a total of less than four hours. The job was professionally done, excellently explained, and reasonably priced given the work that he did. I would highly recommend lock surgeon and definitely will be using them again in the future if I require anything door or lock related.

I had my car stolen with the keys in it. With much patience and perseverance Patrick and his crew got my car keyed and back on the road. This car had been rekeyed previously so there were no codes for it. They quoted me a price and stuck to it even though it took much more effort than expected. A great friendly crew to deal with. The 5 stars were well earned.

Our exit door lock broke. Called Lock Surgeon. They scheduled a service call for the next day. Matt called to assess our problem and brought the appropriate tools and parts to fix. He was on time and was very efficient. He made sure the door was functioning smoothly. Very happy with the service.

I was happy with the service such as it was provided but…. The bill was ridiculously high in my opinion for the scope of work provided. $375.25 to take my patio door off and see what type of rollers were needed and then informed me it would cost an additional $500 or more to go get the parts and repair and replace door! I opted to source parts and repair and replace door myself which I did for $60 worth of parts and half an hour of my time. Hate to dis a company but $375.25 for an actual maybe 20-30 minutes of actual work is excessive.

Further to my original review I have to add … I don’t think I ever seen an owner so defensive if you take note of every negative review your response is pretty much always the same it’s never an issue with your company it’s always the customers fault… wow to be so perfect in everything you do, I might suggest that if it is going to take your service people an hour to two hours to pick up a part you should get them off the bicycles you’re providing them and get them in a service truck? My issue was with the cost not the service provided why I should have to pay an additional hour or even two as you suggest for your service person to retrieve a part that should have been on the truck as is the case with many service providers I have used in the past is a little ridiculous in my opinion. I know I’m wasting my time and energy at the
moment because people like yourself are so self absorbed and opinionated nothing I or any other customer says is going to make you see how silly your little rebuttals to every negative review are. Have a great day!

Amazing service from Patrick and Tory! Helped me with my vintage candy vending machine, came up with a great solution that was cost effective as well. Really went above and beyond!

After calling a few places when my key fob died, I was referred to Lock Surgeon. I was quickly greeted by Tyler when I arrived and pleasantly surprised at the lower cost compared to some quotes I had received. Tyler had my new fob ready to go within minutes and I was done and ready to get back on with my day! I can’t say enough great things about this place! Service was so quick, the kids didn’t even get a chance to complain. The big yellow tube guy out front may have been part of entertaining them while we waited lol! I highly recommend this place not only for great service but also great value!

Tyler S. was amazing. We recently lost the main key to our house so I showed up to their office with two door locks in hand asking for help. Tyler S. was able to pick the locks, resent the tumblers, and cut four replacement keys all within 15 minutes. And he even lubricated everything. Really appreciate the efficiency to get everything done so quickly. All things considered, the price was fair. Thank you Tyler S.

After trying to get a key cut at at local hardware store with no luck. I was told to try the LOCK SURGEON. I was warmly welcomed by Tyler S. as soon as I walked in the door. I expressed my concerns and he was immediately able to assist me. Tyler S. went above and beyond and lubricated my vehicle key because my car wouldn't start when I went to leave the Lock Surgeon. I felt very confident in the customer service that Tyler at the Lock Surgeon provided me and will definitely recommend going to this business for future service.

I couldn’t remove the key from the deadbolt of my exterior door. After remove the lock and taking a trip out to the Lock Surgeon in the westend. I was greeted by Tyler, after taking a quick look, he went to the back shop with my lock and returned five minutes later. He handed me the repaired lock, all at No CHARGE. Btw this isn’t the first time that a small repair was done at this location at no charge. What can I say, service like this is hard to find. Thanks Tyler.

As the feeling of safety and security is imperative to me in my house, I am extremely grateful to say that contacting Lock Surgeon upon receipt of their brochure in my mailbox here in Spruce Grove was by far one of the best choices I made regarding my question, "Whom do I contact to solve my sliding door problem?" From the dispatcher to the professional Locksmith employee, Matt, who arrived to do the service call, I am beyond pleased with this company! To add further, Matt was exceptional in his skills of customer service from the moment I opened the door to greet him upon his arrival; add to that the professional outcome with solving the problem. We had Matt from Lock Surgeon come out to repair our lock. He was a nice, personable man that did a stand up job for us. I would give home more stars if I could. I would totally recommend Matt.

Exceptional service! Brought in a deadbolt lock that was in pieces after I removed it to get a key out during -40 weather and it was rebuilt and put back in after 5mins for $30. Could have sold me a new part and key but said this was the cheaper option #honest This is my place for anything lock and key related.

Tyler recently did work at our house. From the moment he entered our home, a very nice, polite and professional personality emerged. He showed what needed to be done and the price, and upon approval did a wonderful job, all the while conversing pleasantly. We would definitely endorse the Lock Surgeon to anyone who might need lock work done.

Excellent customer service. Had a lock that was binding while turning the key. He fixed it with some spray at no charge.
Would have made a purchase of spray, but only downfall is they don't accept Amex and this is all my business uses.

Nobody wants to spend money on a new chipped key fob for their vehicle, but when mine bit the dust I got great service at Lock Surgeon west end. Tyler S had me up and running again with a new key fob for my Lincoln in 10 minutes. Very friendly service and key fob works perfectly. Thank you!

Jason was late but understandable delay. He did a great job. My husband and I tried to fix problems with our door but failed miserably. He made suggestions, showed us where we had been less than successful. The area feels so snug now, where last week the snow was coming in under the door.
