Located next to Peggy’s cove. The shop has many souvenir and restaurant inside. You can find gift for all age group.

Gifts for young kids are on First floor and for also there are options for young and adult. You can buy cool magnets.

Only thing was that it is little pricy.

We had lunch here…lobster, lobster Mac n cheese, turkey sandwich and fish chips…not many restaurants can do what the Sou’Wester did…amazing taste presentation and portions…food was well cooked and flavourful…the servers were attentive and happy to serve…overall 5 star experience!!!

Enjoyed the food & experience at Sou’ Wester! Didn’t know there would be such an amazing restaurant nearby the light house. Food was delicious, quick, prices were very reasonable. We got the mussels & lobster and it was fresh! Will definitely be come back next time we come by Peggy’s cove!

gift shop has a lot of great options for souvenirs, and the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious! plus you can have a very nice view of the water while you eat, which is always a bonus.

Awesome food with great views and lots to choose from both on the menu and in the gift shop but I highly recommend trying something like the fish and chips or full lobster as the rolls were a little underwhelming but still good! But amazing food with fast and great service! Highly recommend!

If you are visiting Peggy's Cove, stopping by for a bite here is mandatory. You will be in awe of the view while eating your favourite seafood entrée. I always go either the seafood chowder, the absolute best! Was not a fan of the lobster butter (yes, I know shocking eh) service was great, waited a few minutes at the door to be seated but that didn't matter as the whole experience was amazing. What are you waiting for? Stop by and enjoy!

Here is a perfect seafood restaurant where we can enjoy delicious food with see a memorable lighthouse my family since Dec 2021. We enjoyed steamed mussels, a lobster sandwich, and a seafood chowder. They were so yummy and the service was so nice, too.

Had a lovely dinner with my family in a gorgeous setting, as we literally could see the Peggy's Cove Lighthouse from our table. In terms of our experience, our food was tasty, our server very friendly, while the attached gift shop had a lot of fun items.

As for prices, this is definitely a tourist restaurant, though not unreasonable so. While I am sure we could have eaten cheaper lobster elsewhere, there is no way we would have found anywhere else with such a stunning view.

Little bit crowded pleace durring summer but the food is amazing. And my personal favourite amoung the desserts is the gluten free dark chocolate cake 💕

I didn't eat here so I cannot comment on that aspect, but the gift shop is conveniently located right next to washrooms and the edge of the boardwalk to the Lighthouse.

There are many cool items here at decent prices. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of like some other tourist shops.

There will very likely be something for everyone on your shopping list, even yourself.

The staff are pretty quick too with their two registers.

The people I bought souvenirs for from here were quite pleased.

Came here for dinner. The garlic shrimp were delicious! And the Nova Scotia fish and chips were amazing. Very flavorful and filling. And the apple crisp dessert was well presented and sweet!

Edit- I returned for a second visit. Trying the mac and cheese.

My work crew and I decided to check out Peggy's Cove while we are here working from out of province. We got to the restaurant not too long before the kitchen was closing. Tami, the wonderful lady who served us, was amazing. She mentioned the kitchen was closing soon, but she was more than happy to serve us. We all knew what we wanted, so we didn't need menus.
We ordered a round of drinks that came out quickly. Our food did not take that long as well. The lobster roll, fries, and gravy were really tasty. The others had fish and chips, which they enjoyed. We finished our meals and asked if we wanted our bills (not rushing us out in any means). We had to head out anyway. The food was really good. But the service made the food even better.
So, Tami, thank you for making our experience one we will remember for a long time, and I hope we can get there again before we leave once we're done work out here.

Located on the coast, with a view of the lighthouse and the Atlantic Ocean, this is a beautiful and cozy place to grab a bite.

I assumed that the allure of the place was restricted to the visual plane but the food proved me wrong.

We had Garlic Shrimp, Steamed Mussels in a wine sauce, Lobster Roll meal, and Clam Chowder. We did not order fresh lobster since we visited in off season.

The clam chowder was flavourful but had more potatoes than seafood and that was our only gripe. The other dishes were cooked to perfection and were very flavourful. Portion size was decent and the prices reasonable for the fantastic location.

Great place to visit when you visit Peggy's Cove Lighthouse.

Was the only place open while I was visiting Peggys Cove. Great place to stop. The drinks were good, the service was great, they recommended great food too.

I had the Seafood Chowda and the Lobster Mac and Cheese. I would recommend both of them as they were very tasty!

The on-site restaurant and gift shop at Peggy's Cove. Value is reasonable, given the tourist-heavy location. Expect a modest wait at peak times in the summer. We sat on the patio and the food was tasty. Our server was very nice.

This was the only food place open at 6pm when we arrived. We saw on the menu it was quite expensive but decided to order the Philly cheesesteak special which was only 17.99. It came rather quickly and was fresh and delicious. A fantastic portion as well. The server was very attentive and it was a great atmosphere. Will be back for sure!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating for our special request. We had a superb patio spot and the servers were exceptionally well doing their job. Great training? Great boss?
The food was outstanding. Great Halibut Dinner, great oysters and very good lobster roll. Was worth doing the three courses.

Their blueberry cheesecake is to die for, my reason to visit Peggy's Cove all the way from Halifax. Looks even more wonderful with all the renovations. Would love to see more vegetarian options on the menu.

Light crispy batter, tasty tartar, golden fries with a fresh coleslaw!! It doesn’t get any better than this!! …. Unless you add in the stellar views and the amazing friendly service! Already looking forward to my next visit!!!

Great experience at Sou'Wester. We arrived for a late lunch, which was great as we seemed to have missed the lunch- hour crowd.

We all ordered the fish and chips and it was simply amazing. The two piece fish was moist and crispy without being heavy and greasy. Other orders that were going by our table also looked very tasty.

Our server was also great, attentive and professional. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with great views all around.

If you plan to visit Peggys Cove, plan on eating at the Sou'Wester. If you do go, I recommend getting there before 12 or after 1 pm to avoid the rush hour crowd.
