The Italian Farmhouse Restaurant & Bar

This place really blew us away. The food was fantastic, portions were perfect. The salmon was probably the best cooked fillet I've ever had and the Desserts were delicious. Loved the atmosphere and our server was very friendly and efficient

And the atmosphere is cottage style. I felt like I was at my aunties house. Antiques, ambiance lights! Gazebo outside with pretty lighting. I recommend evening for thr ambiance of lighting.

We stopped in on a Friday afternoon and were so impressed with the delicious meals! Each meal was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients & well portioned.
The service was excellent & we enjoyed the atmosphere too.

Beautiful anniversary dinner at the farmhouse. Just good energy in this place. Kind and attentive servers and staff alongside exceptional food. Good attention to detail. Food was fresh and amazing. Thanks for the extra effort on our anniversary.

We decided to give this restaurant a try AND we were very happy we did! The restaurant is located in the hamlet of Bragg Creek at about 30min from the city.

The restaurant offers private parking but space is limited. No worries, there is lots of parking on the other side of the road (50m walking distance).

The staff at this location is super friendly and super helpful. I never ran out of water and they always came by the table to check if everything was to our satisfaction.

The food was delicious! The appetizer was fantastic. It tasted exactly the same as the one they served in Rome when I was there in 2019.

The main course was also fantastic and reminded me of my vacation in Italy.

This restaurant nailed it on all aspects and I would highly recommend it if you're looking for some authentic Italian cuisine!

This place can be very busy so make a reservation!

We felt right at home in this cozy, intimate restaurant. We chose the specials, the cut & catch of the day, and were pleased by our choices. Swordfish and veal. We'd highly recommend the lemon torte!
I'm already looking g forward to a repeat visit.

Fantastic little gem out in Bragg Creek. Best Seafood Linguine that I’ve had in Alberta thus far! We were so eager to eat the pasta that we dug in before I took the shot!

It's one of the best Italian restaurants close to calgary. Super delicious food with great service. They have a kids menu, too.
This restaurant is cute. The ambiance is also very nice.
We ordered the chef's daily cut, which was perfectly cooked, delicious & generous portion.
Even cheese pizza from the kids' menu was delicious, too.
Highly recommended. Definitely go back again soon.

This was the cutest spot!! I loved the vibes, it was very relaxed but you get five star food. Nothing pretentious about this restaurant - it was a great experience. The pasta was incredible and made in house. The servers we interacted with were friendly and genuine. Only thing is that you might struggle to make a decision on what to order. I will be back to try more! Prices are more than reasonable. Enjoy every bite! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Fantastic! We came here for our wedding anniversary and they were exceptionally kind and the whole place was very cute.

The food was delicious and the drinks were fresh and tasty. They have some nice meats that are not common at restaurants and the dessert left us wanting to lick the plates.

Authntic italian Good food , nice ambience would definitely visit again

It was so lovely! It was my first time and my friend invited me for a birthday lunch the food was fantastic. I would very much like to go again. We ordered Pollo pizza, Brussel sprout Caesar, wine house wine and for dessert tiramisu with an espresso. Every item was made to perfection.

Incredible food and atmosphere! One of our favourite date night place and we already can’t wait to come back soon! Super cozy interior and beautiful secluded patio outside. A must go to spot in Bragg Creek and worth the drive from Calgary!

Right from the door the service was impeccable. Amazing decor and vibe, with cheerful and attentive servers. They went above and beyond to make our dining experience as enjoyable as possible. The food was amazing, with fresh flavours and ingredients, all presented in a very appetizing and appealing manner. I would have to recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking for not just food, but an adventure.
The duck confit gnocchi is a must try.

What can I say, a hidden gem in Bragg Creek. Absolutely loved the decor and design. The service was fantastic. The food was amazing. We ordered the Bruschetta and Wild Boar Meatballs to start. I could have eaten 7 bowls of those meatballs alone. Each of us (4) ordered a different pasta and the meal was fantastic. My favourite was the Basil Butter Ravioli with Gorgonzola cheese. We all shared the Chocolate Paté for dessert ... AMAZING 👏🏻.

Will definitely be back.

We finally had the opportunity to sit down for a meal at the Italian Farmhouse. They have been on our radar since we drove by on our way back from a Nature walk.

The restaurant was built into a house as you can see remnants of the original living space. They have converted it well and the restaurant is beautiful!

We ordered the Insalata Caprese and the Cozze to start. My wife ate most of the caprese salad which she thought was as well done as any caprese salad she had before. The mussels were good. The bouillabaisse sauce went well with them. We liked that it was not heavy and did not overwhelm the mussel flavor.

Our kids had the Cheese Pizza and the Salami Pizza. They were happy with their choices. I grabbed a bite of each and found that the Salami Pizza was way better.

For our main course, my wife chose the Linguine ai Frutti Mare. She asked for tomato sauce. It was a clean dish  with good pasta and a decent spread of assorted seafood pieces. She enjoyed it. I tried a bite and preferred my main.

I chose the Garganelli con Salsiccia which was yummy. The only surprise was that it was nowhere as spicy as I thought it would be. The sauce tended to be on the sweeter side. Yet, the sausage was hearty and the dish was enjoyable.

For dessert, my wife got the Blueberry Flan which the little ones loved thanks to the sweet flavor.

Italian Farmhouse is a good restaurant to have a special dinner. The atmosphere, situated away from Calgary, is beautiful, yet homey.

Highly recommend this place. Nice atmosphere, beautiful deck area and delicious foods made our day. I will definitely visit here again to try other menus.

Delicious mothers day treat. Carbonara and arancini were insanely delicious. My husband had the lasagna. Portion sizes are huuuuge. Kids enjoyed their kids pizzas. Service was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was charming and exactly what's implied in the farmhouse name. Can't wait to return.
