Paddy’s flats is awesome. I almost don’t want to post a review so we can keep this gem to ourselves.

The sites are big. The attendants are friendly. The bathrooms are really clean. They have firewood for a good price.

It’s is great if you like mountain biking and camping and the river is dang cold but it feels great after a full day of activities!! Lots of trails around!

It’s a first come first serve site.

Very quiet camping spot, great for tenting also. We arrived around 8pm and the firewood truck came around about 3 times which is great for people who ran out of wood. We went on Friday-Saturday of may long and it was very busy but so quiet. The washrooms were also pretty clean. I’d definitely recommend camping here. We didn’t get to enjoy the paths to the creek but we will next time! 😊😊😊😊

Always great out there. Campsites kept nice and clean, staff is always friendly, rates are fair for what it is. It draws a family crowd and many people with dogs enjoy camping here. Very foresty, lots of trees, path to river right beside campground. Comes with water pumps that are always fun for the kids and useful for other things. Fire pit size varies most are small-ish. Campsites are better for group camping as they seem clustered together in small groups.

Overall a great place to go camping especially with your family and pets! :)

Paddy's Flats is a great camping area. Family friendly, couples friendly. Walking paths all around that take you to the river, a play ground, outhouses that are kept clean and very well maintained.

The sites are well-treed and feel as private as could be expected on a campground. As there are no reservations you might have to drive around awhile to find an open spot but at least the “occupied” cards make it obvious.

All the self-registration kiosks were out of firewood cards so I had to track down the campsite manager to get a bundle. They drove around slowly later so we were able to flag them for more wood.

The river is close and the trails along the river are beautiful. You can spend a lovely day walking along the elbow river trails.

The toilets were clean by outhouse standards and there are non-potable water pumps.

Large lots with easy pull in / pull out access. This is a no frills campground, so no water/electric hook-ups. Lots of great walking trails with great access to the Elbow river. Priced accordingly and we found it to be very quiet and bug free.

This is my new favourite campground! As the last reviewer said, I almost skipped writing a review, as this place is such a little hidden gem. Lots of trees, great sites (including well-treed pull-throughs in Loop A), close to the river, a nice long trail that runs through the campground and by the river with lots of short side trails, and Sulphur Springs trail connects if you want to do a longer hike (or mountain biking - there is a built and maintained track including double black diamond). The camp hosts this year (Greg and Corrina) are awesome, friendly and helpful. As others have said, FCFS (first come, first served) - it was full when I got there before noon on a Friday, but managed to get a site when someone left.
There is no dump station at the campground, but there are dump stations at Maclean Creek Campground, and the four-lane Elbow Valley dump station a short drive from the campground. The dump station at the Elbow Valley Visitor's Information Centre is closed, but it's a great stop to get trail maps, weather report, and free Wi-Fi.
If you are camping here for a bit and don't know the area, be sure to check out Forget-Me-Not pond (get there early) and Elbow Falls. Beautiful area!

Our site was wonderful, we had a semi secluded area. Was perfect in every way.

Great camp area, it's kept nice and clean and even the washrooms aren't too bad. The grounds keepers are friendly and usually come around twice a day to see if you need wood. Prices are 26 per unit or night which is reasonable.

What a great place. Access to great mountain biking across the highway and a short walk to the elbow river. There are actually sandy beaches there and you can park yourself there with the family for the day. RV sites are decent sized and most have decent privacy.
