Beautiful campground. Got some early bird spring time camping in and it was clean as can be.
Could do a little better with thr snow removal but it's post winter, I wasn't complaining.
Gray facilities and had a wonderful weekend.
We'll be back

Gooseberry is a very nice campground. The sites are large and well maintained. One down side is the powered sites are 30amp plugs only. It's very nice they have a firewood truck that comes by often to get wood from. Not all sites are powered as a note.

One of my favourite campgrounds close to Calgary! We got a spot with power, and felt pretty private in the trees. You can faintly hear cars driving over the Texas gate, but aside from that, it was so peaceful! The river is beautiful and the walking trails around are awesome!! We will definitely go back!

Great campground, close to the city. Nice little getaway 30 minutes from my house. Lots of neat trails nearby and a very cool beaver damn located but the entrance of the park. Will be back next year!

So great! What an amazing summer memory for my children my wife and my self. We loved spending time here , this year. We were very lucky to get one of these "non reservable " sites for the week. The majority of the camp ground seems to be rented to long-term, seasonal campers. Which was great for us as it was very quiet. Most campers were in trailers so the public washrooms were rarely used. We tented during the week. The weekend might get busier seeing how it's so close to Calgary. The playground and the river walks were amazing.

Wow, what a beautiful place. Price was $33 with electricity and $26 without. Spacious lots. My wife and I have 2 kids 6/2. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Kids park close by, not big but did the job. Many washrooms close by, simple, a toilet no flowing water, just large tank. Was fairly clean. Water from pump really dirty as Creek dried up right now, no biggie, we expected that at start of season and brought lots for washing etc. We were tenting it. Staff very nice and helpful. Driving around every few hours with firewood $10/bundle. The campsite filled up quickly, by 5pm Friday I believe pretty much full. More of a family campsite than MacLean Creek. Only noise I heard after 10pm was coyotes. Will definitely be back.

Nice spaces for all sizes of campers and tents. They provide a picnic table and a fire pit as well. You can walk by the river and nature. There is a playground for kids and decent road for biking or just simply walking. The price is quite descent for what you get and there are electrical outlets at most campsites. If you need firewood, they can drop it off to your site during their multiple times a day drives for $10. You might need 2 stacks for the night

Awesome campground, no reservations so you need to get there early to get a spot. Great walking paths especially by the river. Powered sites that are not too close to other campers. Mainly Adults and young families. Very close to SW Calgary.

It's very clean and definitely kid friendly. Our kids enjoyed our stay. The sites are somewhat private with lots of trees. The powered sites were an unexpected bonus. There is no water hook ups but less than a km away there is a dump station with potable water.

Gorgeous campground! Quiet sites and friendly park attendants. Various site sizes can accommodate large units or tents. Love that it is so close to the Elbow river! The few pull-through sites beside the river are incredible if you're lucky enough to get one! First come, first serve here... no reservations.

I lovely campground with the Elbow River in the backdrop. Some spots have 30 amp power and can accommodate the longest of units. Roads are gravel and dusty most days, I drive 10 km/hr, keepa the dust down and what's the rush.

Plug in campsite with tall trees all around. Campsites are pretty private compared to some others we been to. Will be coming in again. This is a plug in campsite mostly for RVs but a tent can work too. It's $30 a night I believe no fire wood and outhouse for toilet.

Nice campground, good playground for the kids and easy access to the river. Hand pumps for water, pit toilets only. Fills up fast on summer weekends. Occasional mosquitos, bring bug spray if it’s been wet.

Nice campground. Happy to see power sites aswell. Very good location off the river and close to Calgary. Also happy it's s first come place so it doesn't get all reserved before summer even starts.

My wife and I think this is a great place to camp. It's always clean and we feel safe camping out there. There's pull through sites and walk in renting sites with proper food storage.
