I may not know anything about sewing materials; button/zipper accessories or the difference between frosted & opaque... but I DO know great Customer Service when I see it. And I saw it recently when my wife had an issue with a poster. When my wife and I went to retrieve the poster, now mounted on a wooden background, it was unwrapped before us and presented for approval. Yes, the paper wrapping was removed but NO, the foam corner guards remained. It was not until we completed unwrapped it at home that we noticed that one corner was damaged (not seen at the store because, well,). We quickly called and reported this immediately to the store. The first thing that was said was NOT "did you bump it after you left the store or perhaps it was dropped...?" but rather, "we want to make things right." Unfortunately we did not have another poster to have it re-done. So the only alternative was We were hoping perhaps for a discount. The entire amount was credited back to our credit card AND it was done so quickly; professionally and without blame. TEXT BOOK EXAMPLE of how to do business. You can be sure future business is already in the works. Kudos to Elke, Holly and Tara. Well Played, Michael's. Well Played.

This is my first time to Michael's. We had a very good experience. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. We went to buy yarn for some crochet work. Many of them are on sale and with good offers. The store is big and covered all sense of crafts. Absolutely brilliant. Will definitely visit again.

The item we chose already had a sale price but the lady at counter was kind enough to apply a further seniors discount. We couldn’t be happier. Thanks. We are already excited for future visits.

I am very happy with this store and staffs . They have kept it well arranged. I am not telling normally they don’t . But since I moved here the Michael I ran near my area was hectic. The aisle say so and so but I couldn’t find anything on the specific aisles it was arranged else where .

They have a huge selection of seasonal decor, especially for Halloween and Christmas. They also have a great variety of craft supplies, including acrylic and watercolour painting. I do find their regular price items can be a bit expensive, but they always have 40% off 1 item coupons available. And a lot of their in store items are 40-60% off. I was surprised to see so much Christmas stuff on sale already.

Nice customer Care, very warm attendance. This a place u can get anything concerning clothes repairs. Buttons,accessories, threads,etc. Very clean and organized place u need to check it out.

I have always liked this location for their merchandise as well as wonderful staff. Gabrielle was very friendly and helpful today!! Worth your time to visit.

Michaels (Country Hills - Calgary) always has such amazing customer service! Their selection of craft supplies is unparalleled in Calgary...if you can't find it there, you will be hard-pressed to find it anywhere! And this location is also pet-friendly...my fur-baby loves going here, and always gets lots of attention and a treat everytime he visits! Fantastic store with good prices, great selection, and most importantly, fantastic staff!

Had a great experience. The staff were so nice to direct me where to get what I needed and we're so smiley and courteous. I couldn't stop loving up on the environment and atmosphere.

The staff at the store were great! They knew exactly what I was looking for when I asked, and they had an OK selection, but needle felting isn't a very popular crafting hobby. The store has a very different selection than the store in Medicine Hat. I always enjoy venturing to the big city and checking out the stores we don't have in our small city. Michael's never fails to impress, so I will certainly be retuning at a later date, to do more shopping for my crafting needs!!

I am an artist and a crafter so I love this store! I use the coupons very often and I always look for the clearance spots around the store. I like to visit this store when I receive emails saying they have some things on sale because they always have much more than just those, for some stuff it can be a little pricey but if you use the coupons you end up paying less.

I absolutely love visiting this location, the selection is pretty decent, I had the pleasure of interacting with the manager and she was so helpful! She was patient and answered all my questions!
