Alma Lobster Shop

I had a fantastic dining experience at this seafood shop. They offer a wide variety of delicious seafood options, and my favorites were the crispy shrimps, smoked Salmon salad, and lobster rolls. The onion rolls with the dip and the potato fries were absolutely delightful. The ambience of the place was very inviting, and the chef was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our kids had a great time enjoying the tasty fries, and the open concept of the dining area added to the overall experience. It's a wonderful place for families to enjoy a variety of delicious seafood dishes in a welcoming atmosphere.

Went near the end of October during an evening. Lady at the front was very friendly and allowed me to go out back and check out the large warehouse full of lobsters. Also gave lots of details and fun facts. Ordered a lobster roll, incredibly fresh and delicious. Sunset views eating a lobster roll, truely unforgettable.

This shop had a plethora of fresh seafood options ranging from live lobsters to smoked salmon. I tried the lobster salad and it was refreshing with a generous amount of seafood. The fried clams were amazing- the batter was light and melted in your mouth. There were a lot of flies outside but the views of the ocean were very nice.

Absolutely fantastic lobster roll and smoked salmon. It was definitely worth the drive from Saint John.

Staff is amazing I mean knowledgeable,super friendly and willing to stop and talk. If your going to be in Alma you should know the place to visit first and last both is right here at alma lobster shop. Beautiful very private beach to enjoy as well. Makes the visit to alma unforgettable..

Had the lobster roll and generous ingredient chowder. Hungry fisherman was a feast and cook to perfection. Love it.

We stopped by to enjoy a fresh local lobster on our NB trip. Hubby and one of our friends got a beautifully cooked lobster, and I chose a poutine, another friend got a lobster roll. All were truly tasty. Thank you. 😊

Excellent small lobster shop. Can buy fresh seafood or order from the menu to eat there on outdoor picnic tables. Prices are very good & more affordable than other similar restaurants. We ate lobster rolls & chowder there, also bought a steamed lobster to take home. All were delicious & the best we've had on our trip to the East coast.

Probably my most favorite lobster 🦞 place. Lobster rolls are amazing. I tried a few items and was not disappointed. Alma shop stores lobsters and here you are getting always very fresh stuff. The host was very friendly and walked us through the whole process of storage at the back. Very cool! Thank you!

Delicious seafood! There was a wait time, but very worth it. Nice view of the Bay. Bathrooms on site, Out door picnic tables, and a enclosed area as well. Portions of Fish and chips are big enough for 2, were almost seniors and my husband and I split one, as well as a scallop plate. Don't forget to ask for salt and pepper, ketchup, vinegar, and extra napkins! They give you real lemon wedges for your seafood, which is a bonus! When you order your meal at the cash, you give your name, then go outside to wait for it to be delivered to your table. Delicious.

Amazing place to stop for lunch…. Or dinner…. Right on a beach so a terrific view while waiting for your food. Service was great and the cost was sooo worth every single bite!

Group of 4 and we had New Brunswick Atlantic Snow Crab, Jumbo breaded Shrimp, Lazy Lobster, Fish Tacos and Seafood Chowder with a Lobster Roll.

Delightful fresh lobster meal. The lobster was cooked perfectly and the patio was a great place to enjoy our meal on a rainy day. The employees of the establishment were also friendly and helpful! We would definitely go back again!

This place is fantastic. The food was absolutely amazing. My husband tried to order a chicken burger and the staff there convinced him to try a lobster roll. He has been hooked on them ever since. The food is delicious. It is a very casual place, not fine dining... but definitely gives you a taste of east coast life. I would drive back to New Brunswick just for their lobster rolls.

I was here last year because the lobster roll was highly reviewed and I wanted to treat my partner to a special lunch (our first lobster rolls, we’re from Vancouver). I did not plan on eating because I have celiac and there were no reviews or mentions of gluten free - and I was pleasantly surprised and ecstatic to learn they not only serve gluten free lobster rolls (celiac safe, I asked the right questions) but ALSO gluten free chowder!!! Highly recommend. We spent the morning seeing low tide at the Bay of Fundy, went here for lunch, did a hike, and then saw high tide on the way home. Highly recommended tourist day with gluten free foodie travel JOY!

So worth a stop! Great service, great staff, and wonderful art. Walked in for supper and got completely distracted by the art. Bought the best lobster roll and a whole bunch of fantastic paintings. Can't wait to visit again next year!

Very friendly staff and helpful. They are professional. There is a nice restaurant there! Not only pick up. Very tasty and delicious food! Nice view and good time there!

For a quiet Monday mid October we never expected to have the best service and food we’ve ever had , The cashier who also works serving made our experience one to remember she even wrote on a brochure map and showed my husband and I were to visit while in Alma .
The food was by far the best on our coast to coast adventure.
The Alma Lobster shop is a stop we’ll never forget. Cheers

Very nice spot to get lunch and a few souvenirs! Lobster roll was loaded with chunks of lobster meat, clams were very good but had more breading than needed, fries were very good.
