A fantastic restaurant! Everything we ordered was really good. The service was beyond good. The local microbrews on tap were first rate. The location is great with super easy access from the road. Inside seating is clean and comfortable and the patio out back overlooks the fishing boats. And a small local beach is just a short walk, perfect for an after meal stretch or to let the kids burn off some energy. Two thumbs up 👍👍

Went in on a whim and very glad we did.
Hands down the best lobster roll I’ve had, the perfect balance of flavours, none overpowering the others.
Even the salad was above expectations.
A hidden gem for sure!

The terrace setting was absolutely lovely and the food was delicious. We had the rum flambéd scallops in maple syrup and the seafood chowder - both exquisite! We would definitely go back.

When we go hopewell from Fundy National Park of Canada. We want to see low tide to Alma Harbour. Then We saw the Tipsy Tails Restaurant. I want to try Beautifully located on the water in Alma, the view can change drastically depending of the tide (low tide and high tide are twice a day).

We chose to eat here at low tide to see The boats were above the ground. I was planning lobster roll. Dill mayonnaise mixed with lobster chunks stacked onto a fresh roll from a local bakery. Top notch! We also had a MARITIME SEAFOOD CHOWDER as delicious. I think it is best in NS. The food was delicious :)

We came here for dinner, it was very busy and they asked if we had a reservation. We did not so my tip would be to make one if you’re interested in eating here on the patio. We ended up getting seated at a bar like table on the side of the restaurant which had a decent view. I got the lobster roll and my girlfriend got the pork tacos and both were very good. However, the service received was slow when it came to being checked on and getting our bill.

Beautifully located on the water in Alma, the view can change drastically depending of the tide (low tide and high tide are twice a day).

We chose to eat here at high tide to see the boats in full water. The food was delicious :) I was planning on a whole lobster dinner but didn't feel like sinking $60 on lunch so chose to have the lobster roll instead. Dill mayonnaise mixed with lobster chunks stacked onto a fresh roll from a local bakery. Top notch! We also had a fish and chips meal that was equally as delicious. Ended the meal with sticky bun dessert.

Was the perfect, water side restaurant! Waiter was most helpful and spent time taking our picture, along with telling us highlights in the area.
The food was delicious. Lobster roll with salad, and Lobster Poutine! Would recommend highly!!
Thank you to the gentleman who waited on us, (who's been a world traveler!)

Visited after thru-hiking. Much needed Beer and calories. Great patio outside just adjoining the port. Beautiful decorations. And a great space. Food was amazing. And beer from the tap. Check for additional menu.

Very friendly service. And fast. Very easy parking. And just side of Route 114 before Fundy national park.

Had a great time and will visit again for sure. Highly recommended.

My favorite place to eat when visiting Alma! Prices are fair and service is always spectacular! Beautiful views from the patio but definitely need a reservation in high tourist season as this restaurant fills up quickly! Probably the best seafood chowder you will find in the area! Highly recommend Tipsy tails!

Spectacular! The quality of the food is top notch. Lovely learning about how much is sourced locally and prepared from scratch on premise or from the community. Looking forward to being back.

Man - this place came highly recommended by just about every local in town we talked to and there's a reason why. To start off the location and the view was amazing. They have a hummingbird feeder on the back deck and we watched them feed the entire time we were there.
They provide you with these blankets that are super cozy while you're outside if it's a little chilly and have the alcohol menu written on a big white board so everyone can see it. Our server Tara was a HOOT - great waitress. She recommended a few dishes to us and they were great. We started off with the boujie fries and wings and they were stellar.
The star of the show was the sweet potato fries though; they served them with a simple garlic mayo and were breaded and fried extra crispy. I had the pork tacos and for an East Coast mostly fish restaurant - they weren't bad. Everyone else around me had a different meal so we were able to try lots of other meals. It was a great restaurant and we missed the live music by one of two days.
I'm glad we listened to the locals because this place was awesome. We'll be back again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tipsy Tails, the seafood restaurant nestled over the fish docks on the bay of Fundy, and it was a truly remarkable experience. From start to finish, everything about this place exceeded my expectations.

First and foremost, I have to commend Tara, our server, for her exceptional service. She was incredibly personable, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Her warm and friendly nature added an extra touch to our lunch stop.

The fish and chips at Tipsy Tails were simply divine. The beer batter used for the fish was crispy, and practically tasted like a donut. The fish inside was fresh and flaky, perfectly complemented by the delightful crunch of the batter.

I also had the pleasure of trying their mayo-style lobster roll, and it did not disappoint. The lobster seemed fresh and was lightly coated in mayo dressing with dill that added just the right amount of richness. It was a heavenly combination that left me craving for more. The battered sweet potato fries were an absolute delight. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with just a touch of sweetness.

Fantastic food and drink aside, what truly set Tipsy Tails apart was its breathtaking location. The patio seating outside offered an unparalleled view of the bay of Fundy. As we dined, we were treated to the view of the bay and sight of fishing boats beached at low tide waiting for high enough waters to head out to sea, creating a picturesque backdrop for our meal. It was a feast for the senses that elevated the dining experience to new heights.

They had a seemingly descent tap selection of local/regional draught beers. The Pumphouse Blueberry Ale went quite well with both the food and the scenery.

I wholeheartedly recommend Tipsy Tails to anyone looking for a seafood and seaview experience. The fish and chips, the mayo-style lobster roll, and battered sweet potato fries weren’t the only menu items that looked good coming out of the kitchen. If it’s nice enough to eat outside, the patio seating and breathtaking view will add an extra layer of magic to your visit. If you find yourself passing through Alma, Tipsy Tails will leave you with lasting memories and a desire to stay!

Exceptional service and food. We arrived just when it opened and were greeted immediately. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurants menu. Cool vibes and washroom was clean. My favorite was the seafood chowder with chunks of seafood. Highly recommend stopping here before or after going into Funday National Park!!

Great food and ambiance. Had diner here with 4 persons (1 non fish lover). We really enjoyed the food, it was of high quality. There are also a few options for non fish lovers. We had the lobster poutine, kool burger, lobster roll and seafood chowder.
Tip: make a reservation to make sure you can eat here

The food here is amazing! The chowder and lobster roll are must-haves. The chowder comes with the creamiest biscuits I've ever had.
The owner was also very nice and friendly to us. If you visit Alma, definitely check this out.

What a place and amazing patio with an epic view! Outstanding service; Tara took exceptional care of us! Fun, friendly and witty..

The food was deliciously executed and the menu was so original. The "boogie fries" are awesome! ❤ Heck... They even deep-fry the parsley before sprinkling it on! That's a classy (and sinful) touch. 👍😬

The best meal we've had on our trip so far! The street corn was incredible as were the pork tacos (home made smoked pork) and fish tacos. Super tasty, excellent service, and great views on the patio. Highly recommend!

We had a very good experience at this restaurant. We were able to get a spot on the patio that overlooked the harbour. A nice relaxed atmosphere. It was not to busy when we stopped in. Loved that they had the option of a peanut butter and jam sandwich for kids. Kids menu was good. We also had the lobster dinner which was delicious. The garlic biscuits were so good. Our server was great, efficient, and kind. I would definitely visit this restaurant again!
