Muddy Rudder Bar & Grill

What a great place to visit! The staff is great, food is great, and it’s very clean and well kept. The price is very reasonable especially for a small town. It’s great to see that the Muddy Rudder is open year round for the community. If you are looking for a wonderful place to eat and relax come here!!

Went here with my wife. We started by sharing a large seafood chowder. It was great and had lots of fresh seafood. I had the fried clams here. They were cooked to perfection and was a good portion. My wife had the scallops and she was equally as happy. This was a quick lunch on a quick trip to Alma. Well worth the visit. See you again.

Holy WOW!!! The food is FANTASTIC!!!! The portions were huge!!! This place is a definite stop in while in Fundy Bay Provincial Park. Mmmm yum. Had the Captain burger. So huge and so delicious. My husband had the special Cajun Chicken Pasta the flavours coming out of that pasta are magnificent!! You can tell that the cook/S take pleasure in what they do.

Excellent light breakfast one egg 3 bacon toast outstanding potatoes $11 really service was pleasant and fast. Got my extra peanut butter!!!!

It was a new building and it was updated and set up for the theme of the area (fishing boats painted). It was put together beautifully, spacious. The 3 of us were in awe. Huge meals, you'll never be hungry after you order. There was nothing bad that I could say about it. Mustard was added to the tartar sauce and I liked it, very subtle.

The services was great and the server. We had an enjoyable eating time, server was very friendly. A young gentleman from Spain. Food was good, clams were delicious, Ceasar salad and onion rings. We would go again.

Great place and atmosphere. We happened to come but on a night with live music. The chowder is very worthy. Also the Ankore Away coctail us lovely.
Service was quick and friendly, great place for hungry travellers.

Best stop ever after a long hike. Well...4 blue moons later maybe not! California burger was awesome fries were fresh cut. My wife liked the Fettuccine Alfredo. Some live music at the end playing The Hip was perfect. Definitely hitting this place up again.

We had the fish and chips. The fish was nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fries were cooked perfectly. We highly recommend this place and will be back next time we visit

We had the Fishermans platter. Pan seared Scallops, Shrimps, deep fried clams and Haddock, along with homemade coleslaw and choice of side, I had seasoned fries. All around delicous meal. Served with tartar sauce and thai sauce.

This is one of the best platters I have had in a very long time. And if you ask me, the best in Alma. 5 stars all the way around.

The Muddy Rudder hosted the wedding reception of my wife and I, and we, along with all of our guests were very impressed. It was their first time hosting a wedding reception, but they were very responsive on all communication leading up to the event, worked with us on the menu, served up extremely delicious food, and provided excellent service throughout the evening. Would definitely recommend!

5 stars on completely everything! Atmosphere is very comforting and the food is just amazing! We had a friendly conversation with our waitress about our camping in Fundy National Park. There was little to no wait during the time that we were there. I got the 3 pancakes with syrup. Warning: Pancakes are great. Spent $10-$20 on each person. Great Place!

I should have taken a photo... The special of the day was a half serving of clams, one piece of fish with coleslaw and french fries. Everything was delicious and there was a lot of food. Will definitely be stopping in again.

My husband stopped in for breakfast. We were greeted by very friendlly waitstaff. My husband has to use a mobility scooter and they had a ramp and wide doors so it was very easy for him. Plus it has a very open floor plan so he was able to sit at the table with the scooter. Breakfast was perfect!

Great onion rings and beer selection. Very friendly and helpful staff. Decor was a bit austere and could use more character, but we enjoyed this stop on our Alma pub crawl

Staff is incredibly nice, they have guest wifi, and Thursday is live music and wing night!
Beer prices are fair and they have a wide selection.

If I had to decide between food and service, I don't know which is better. The hostess is very nice and efficient, and the server was friendly and quick. Thank you for the amazing time we had. And to the chef, my heart ❤. The food was just perfect cooked and plentiful. I highly recommend this place!

Went on a Monday night for dinner. Had a live musician- great song selection (Cat Stevens & Beatles, etc). Had a chicken burger off their special burger menu- absolutely delish! Great fries too.

We ate here when staying at Fundy. All 4 of us enjoyed our meal. I personally got a chicken and mushroom pasta which was awesome. We will be back again! Service was great too.
