Rolling Hills Campground Ottawa

Check-in was a breeze. Didn't even have to get out of the truck. Very nice small campground located close to Ottawa. We were able to zip into town to see friends and family. The recent renovations they have done to improve the water and electrical are nice. Great to see a campground investing in these areas. The weekend was too short to enjoy the salt water pool. Next time. We will recommend it to other campers.

My wife and I stayed at Rolling Hills Campground for two nights. We had planned to stay overnight as we travelled from Ottawa however once we arrived we both decided we should stay another night. The staff Johnvie, Michelle, Stuart and Dan were extremely helpful, friendly and kind. Campground is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities were the best we have seen on our travels since we left Calgary. This is a really nice place to stop and we will definitely recommend it to everyone we hear of travelling through the area.

Great adults only campground. Very close to Ottawa. They work all the time to make improvements, constantly leveling sites, they sanitize touch points between visits. Great new clean showers! Turkeys along the edge of the park everyday! Very friendly. Would highly recommend!

Excellent camp ground with nicely spaced sites, within 20 minutes of Ottawa. Very well managed, you can see the improvements happening while we are here. Grounds maintenance is amazing, heated salt water pool, good Wi-Fi (rare in the countryside) available and all in a truly beautiful setting close to the Ottawa River.

Close to amenities and Restaurants, but still in the beautiful countryside just East of Ottawa. This is a smallish and very welcoming campground with both seasonal and transient sites (many of both). Right at the gate we were greeted by very enthusiastic and friendly staff. Yes they are gravel sites, but very well kept, most sites are very level despite being on "rolling hills".

Lots of new and upgraded items here, great water pressure, heated infrastructure for winter stays, new electrical systems with brand new electrical distribution, 50amp, 30amp plus 20amp plugs at our site. Amazing food truck on site for special events!

Extremely well cared for campground with excellent management, will definitely be back!

A great campground with very clean washrooms, showers and laundry facilities.
Check-in was the easiest we've ever experienced. We didn't even have to get out of the vehicle.
Lots of grass and gravel to prevent dust and puddles (when raining).
Our site was next to a busy road during the day, but quieted just fine at night. There were lots of quieter sites avaikable for more $, but for only a few nights this spot suited us just fine.
We were only minutes from Rockland with lots of services.

We have been coming to this park since 2014. Park was taken over last year and major improvements took place. Improvements to hydro, pool, sites, new store, wifi, showers and washrooms.

Staff friendly and they have added new sites, security gates, and a number of winter sites. The park has been always friendly with great customers and is an adult only park.

The well kept grounds offer plenty of space and it's location is close to Rockland for easy shopping. Very close to Ottawa but far enough away to be able to enjoy the countryside and stunning sunsets and views of the Ottawa River.

The new ownership and general management of this park are A+! We have travelled all over North America and this park ranks right up there. The staff are pleasant and the improvements made in the past year have made this park a great place to stay. The washrooms are clean, the grass and facilities are well kept. It is is nice and close to Ottawa. We highly recommend..

Rolling Hills is a lovely place to stay! Very peaceful yet still close to everything you made need or want! Jean-Yves and Michele and all the staff were very helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

From the time we arrived at the Rolling Hills Campground we were welcomed by the team with good spirits and professionalism. Michele, Jean Yves and the whole team are resurrecting an older campground and have already made huge strides in camper experiences. A short drive to Ottawa for tourism overload and golf nearby only adds to this well taken care of location in Cumberland, Ontario. All staff members are very proud of the care and attention to a very clean facility that makes it a must for those looking for a nice getaway. We will definitely be back.

One of the few parks that accomodate snowbirds ealy. Still snow on the ground they ploughed a site. We had water, sewage and great internet. The staff and management are pleasant and helpful. It is located close to amenities and 30 minutes from downtown Ottawa. We have travelled all over North America and rarely have we felt so welcomed and part of the family.

This is the 3rd year we we have stayed here, 2nd year under new Owners and Management.

Very clean and well maintained, with very friendly staff. Management is living on site and are very approachable and helpful.

Absolutely love the upgrades/changes they have and continue to make at this location. The hydro, water, bathrooms, sewage, roads, RV spots, Wifi, store and the pool are just a few of the upgrades.

The RV sites are very quiet, well spaced and guests are respectful of quiet hours.

Management has requested that the speed limit on Canaan Road be reduced, to make it safer for everyone.

We will definitely be back again.

Just stayed for the labour day weekend as we had a wedding at 1000 Owls Estate which is on Canaan too. So although we booked this campground for convenience we feel we have found a real gem of a campsite. The attention to detail of the new owners and their managers can be seen everywhere. Yes, there are things to improve but its apparent that so much has already been improved and renovated and this is continuing apace. The fact that they are staying fully open until the end of october is a huge bonus for us as we struggle to get away during high summer due to business commitments. We cannot wait to stay again. Can't wait to see what's been improved when we next visit.

We stayed here for 12 days while checking out Ottawa area. It is a lovely clean adult campground. Great heated salt water pool. Nice size sites. Friendly staff who are working constantly making improvements. A bit of road noise that that really is no issue as it quiets down overnight. We stayed on site 138.

We were very friendly received by Dan, he is one of the people who lives on the campground. In the evening we were invited for a barbecue with others, also living here. Good place to stay with our mobilehome for a couple of nights.

"Great location"..... This campground sits near the town of Rockland, 20 minutes from Ottawa and you have views of the Gatineau hills. The sunsets are often stunning. It is a very quiet, boutique park with lots of friendly seasonal campers. This park has security gates, that allows guests to come and go, as they desire and that makes it a safe park. The pool is salt water, heated and clean. It has laundry facilities, assorted supplies available at the store, great new renovated showers and the sites are a good size. WiFi is strong by the office and pool area but a little weak throughout the park but that is to be expected, however they may be expanding the coverage in the future. It is great that it is only 2 minutes to the town of Rockland, where you can get all of your supplies, visit restaurants and sit by the Ottawa river at the boat launch park area. All sites have full hook-ups and they have drive through sites also available, so it is easy for set up and the park is big rig friendly also. Another great fact, it is a pet friendly park. You must keep your dog/cat on a leash but that is to be expected. It is an adult only park, hard to find these. The park is also the only park around that offers limited number sites for those that wish to stay the winter in their RVs! The staff is awesome and always helpful to ensure your stay is memorable. Over all, this park is very clean and well maintained and we certainly recommend it.

We have a 33’ fifth wheel and entered the park as seasonal in August 2022. The park is well maintained and cared for, run by friendly staff and good management. It is a small park, but growing nicely with new infrastructure being added. The park residents are friendly, and the social committee organize interesting activities. We have signed up for the 2023 season!

We enjoyed our stay. Our site was beautiful. Great time to relax. Pool and bathrooms are very clean. The staff are helpful and curteous. We will be coming back

Excellent location near Ottowa! The site was great. Bathrooms were extra clean. If I am ever around the area I will book with Rolling Hills.

I called and left a message and Jean-Yves from the campground called me back quickly. We were researching places to stay this coming summer, he was super knowledgeable, and helpful about the area and activities. Sounds like there are substantial upgrades happening at the campground.
The easiest and most friendly/knowledgeable conversation I have had with a campground. It's nice when management are passionate about what they're doing, it's apparent that these guys are; I left the conversation as excited as they are about the campground.

Great location and nice layout. If you have a big coach ask for the easier spots to access. Turns into sites are a bit tight. Owners are very accommodating. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
