I found mike via google and am glad I went with him. Mike was the person I met for the quote and the person who showed up to do the work. He showed up when he said he would, and did what he said he would do all within the stated price and time frame. This is a rarity in the trades. He was available at short notice and did the work on a weekend which helped us meet our deadline. I also added additional work and Mike was willing to stay late to assist. A perfect job of our backyard parking pad. Mike worked in a confined space without damaging our property or vehicles. Job consisted of digging out gravel and earth, a big tree root and cemented fence posts plus removal of all debris. Then bringing in crushed rock road base, completely levelling and tamping down all for a reasonable price. Work completed in one day, we highly recommend Mike Gesslein Mini Excavating.

There is no better contractor to work with than Mike Gesslein. He has worked for us on several occasions doing various jobs and all with the same perfect results. We had to redo very old perimeter drainage around our daughter’s new-to-her house. Tight borders, gas line and other complications. Mike had Excellant skills, great well maintained equipment and an uncanny sense of judgement for levels, depth and how to juggle small spaces and ever evolving piles of material so that we could keep what we wanted and truck what we didn’t without duplicating efforts. In other words—efficient! Which also meant cost effective. Add to that a genuine love for what he is doing and Mike is a delight to work with. I would highly recommend Mike for any excavation work. Best I have seen in 30 years.
