Dempster products are great. The new EVERYTHING bread is totally awesome. Grain bread with roasted onions and garlic. My other favorite is the honey oatmeal. A grain bread with the taste of honey. Oh yes it is yummy. I would like to see them make a bread with onions and jalapenos. I will put that on my wish list. Keep it up guys.

I eat toast for breakfast and often a sandwich for lunch nearly every day 365 days a year. Dempster's Ancient Grains and 100% Whole Wheat Bread and multi-grain bagels are as good as it gets. Love all the quality ingredients. Absolutely the best whole wheat breads readily available in Canada.

As a reasonably well-off American I am used to a wider variety of breads at the supermarket than is available in Canada. I spend several months a year in Canada, at the northern tip of Newfoundland, so finding good bread is important to me. Yet even in the states there's nothing better than my favorite Dempster breads. I'm also struck by how reasonably priced these high quality offerings are. In the states breads like these would be top shelf, premium priced.

Dempster's bread is amazing, in my house we call it "EVERLAST BREAD" - I have no idea what chemical concoctions they dump into their products but man does it ever have a long shelf-life, as I am writing this review I am eating a sandwich made with four month past due date bread! Way to guy guys!!!

At 72 years and recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes I had tried your Honey Oatmeal bread. I was told in store when it was not available that it had been discontinued. Last week it was available and I just wanted to say Thank You. Not only does it Not effect my sugar levels, it taste Great. Please keep this product! 👍

quit cutting the bread so thin

We really like the Dempsters Products but the bread is cut so inconsistently. Maybe they could get someone to fix the bread slicers.

Do not like new bread ties. They don't keep bread fresh, they only close part of the opening. I don't understand why you would change the bread ties, is it because their plastic?? But you keep the plastic bags that the bread comes in...why not go back to wax bags then?

Hamburger buns are now the size of a dinner roll, hot dog buns have shrunk in size too.

I'm not buying Dempster bagels any more. Would it kill you to cut the bagel ALL THE WAY THROUGH??? We would be better off if you didn't cut them at all, so we could ourselves. I can't tell you how many bagels have been ruined due to only being cut part way! Sad

I bought a loaf of cinnamon Raisin bread when we were having company. Then I went away for 5 weeks. I came home and was cleaning and found half this loaf that got hidden behind something.. so by now the loaf is 6 weeks old. As I'm writing this it has now been 7 weeks. No mold and as fresh as the day I bought it. I messaged the company through Facebook because I could not find an email for them. I asked why their bread would not be stale or show signs of mold. It should have been blue. It was not in the fridge but on the counter and heat on in the house. This is how they responded.

"A combination of a low mold spore count, low moisture, environment, good handling practices and mold inhibitors are the reasons why your product does not contain mold."

All I can say is GROSS Dempsters.

This morning I had left to go to work. The roads were not good due to it was snowing. A Dempster truck had passed me on Richmond Rd in Ottawa Ontario and the driver of the truck rolled down the passenger window and said learn how to drive. The driver missed on coming traffic because he was in a hurry. The road was snow covered and seemed not to care. I do believe that this driver needs to go back and get retrained.

At our meal program we used the English muffins. Unfortunately the old people couldn't chew them, they were too hard and chewy
I think they could do a better job with their expiry dates.

can’t make hotdog buns that don’t split and crumble - avoid the “gold bun”

There buns like hamburger and hotdog buns go moldy way before the expired date and is not good

They make some bad bagels

this bread tastes like sawdust when toasted -awful

Dempster's english muffins are now 2/3 the size of what they were. BOYCOTT DEMPSTERS!
