Surprised discover after finishing the hiking back from The Narrows. Lovely pub in a tranquil place, setting by the deck enjoyed the meal while watching the mountains shined by the downing sun, perfect ending a beautiful day.

We had a glorious day enjoying two boat trips by Sunshine Coast Tours and just wanted to hang around to enjoy the Skookumchuck sea views a bit longer. We could see that there were ample tables on the deck, so we walked upstairs and checked out the menu blackboards at the pub bar. The menu was somewhat limited, we ordered clam chowder, fish & chips. The fish was good enough that we returned the next day for lunch.

We had an amazing lunch at the Back Eddie today. I have celiac disease and they were able to accommodate my needs. I had a loaded burger with a gluten free bun. I couldn't have the fries as they go into a shared deep fryer so I opted for the salad. The salad was amazing! Even better than my husband's fries. The pickled beets in the salad were so good that we went in to get purchase some to take home with us.
Bonus that we could sit outside in the grass at the picnic table with our dog. ❤
By far one of the best burgers on the coast.

Went on a July summer night.

Pleased to see they had live music; a singer and musician who had a few people up dancing which was fun to watch.

We had beers and loaded burgers which were huge. They came with fries.

Servers were great, and the view and atmosphere was wonderful on a warm summer night.

Great place to stop for a beer and some comfort food.

Visited this pub for the first time after a motorcycle ride with my group. Beautiful area to have lunch with great scenery and kayaks to rent out too! Food was fresh, great selection of outdoor seating and plenty of parking! Will be back in the future

We had lunch in this place 3 days in a row and all 3 times it was really good food: burger with seafood chowder, steelhead tacos but also the cod fish and chips and the tasty crème brûlée with a soft touch of earl grey (and I don't even like Earl Grey but in this case it was delicious). Thank you guys and girls for this fantastic experience and view.

Came here with some buddies on our motorbikes and needed some nourishment after our ride. We ordered a Skookumchuck burger, a Luisa burger (chicken) and a Caesar's salad. My chicken burger came with crispy, hot fries and guacamole. Price of sandwiches were reasonable at under $20. Service was quick, friendly and professional. Had to order before being seated. I'd definitely come back here.

Breathe in the fresh air coming down through Princess Louisa Inlet, while listening to local musicians (who are super talented), and drink in the gorgeous view. With a delicious meal. And a sweet cool beverage after hiking Skookumchuk!

A+ on the fish and chips.

My eyes were bigger than my stomach and we ordered two pieces of fish to share - but holy hell, one piece will do ya.

Chowder was smoky and creamy (not too creamy), loaded with salmon and other seafood.

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor picnic bench area. Yay.

We went to the pub twice, both were wonderful.
My tuna dish (I don’t remember the name…) was superb! And my husband loved his burger.
Second visit we order pork and steelhead tacos. Fish smell ruined my my hubby’s appetite but that’s his fault and I enjoyed my fish tacos!
The bottom line is, we will have our dinner there when we go to Sunshine Coast next time!

My wife had the burger and I had the fish and chips. Plus we shared an order of onion rings. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

Ordered fish and chips & seafood chowder and a few other dishes. Fish N Chips and Seafood chowder were so good and tasty. Friendly service. Nice view and ambience as well.

I had the clam chowder and it was Dee-licious! The server was very kind and friendly. The fries were fresh and delicious and the tartar sauce was also great! There was also a singer who had an incredible voice and was a great guitarist. In addition, the canuks won while we were there. All in all it was the best night of my life ;)

Great food with an amazing view! Serving local food and beer, stop here after hiking Skookumchuk for a great day out. The patio is not dog friendly but the picnic benches are and you can still have your beer!

They have good burgers and even better tacos! Nice view and kind staff. The most important: open on holidays.

the battered fish is easily the best I've ever had, people aren't exaggerating. likewise, the onion rings are the best I've ever had, though strangely enough, my partner wasn't too into them. I'm not a fry guy but my partner said they were great. I got the burger which was a pretty good burger, but pretty good burgers are a dime a dozen and I regret not ordering the first twice. the chowder was very very good

having one of the best of something of my life would earn this place a 5 star rating, but having two items that were the best I've ever had? what a gem.

We were there for late lunch. Try the beef burger, Caesar salad, & fish and chips. Kids meal also available within $10. Must try the fish n chips.

Early August 2020 on a Sunshine Coast trip with a stopover at Backeddy Pub and Grill: Stunning view from the patio I had burgers with salad on the side-well large and good tasting!!! The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful setting surrounded by the ocean and mountains. Came here for a pint and had the fish & chips. The most amazing and best fries i’ve ever had. Cant wait to come up next time!
