Highly recommend!!! Small hotel with mighty views, free parking, and friendly people!

Decided to stay here on a whim instead of camping after visiting the glacier to celebrate our engagement. They had a few rooms left! We were greeted with social hour in their lobby with the best charcuterie spread and beverage!

There are multiple restaurants on the premises and ice tour excursions downstairs. It’s a small, cozy, cutest vibes, and quaint hotel with killer views in the lobby. Would come back!

We really enjoyed our stay here and greatly appreciated the private tour of the Sky Walk and Glacier which they provided for guests only. That made life much easier and we avoided the crowds. The beds were great and the rooms were nicely appointed. A very special treat at a fair price.

The only thing better than the gorgeous view was the staff. From checking in, helping with bags, to making sure we made the tours - they took care of every detail to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Even the plate of refreshments in our fridge waiting for us after the tour when we weren't able to take some beforehand - truly first class service from the whole team.

The staff love love what they do - also living in the middle of nowhere not far from the guests - and each pulling multiple duties like a far bigger hotel, but with the intimate experience where everyone knows you and what you like.

Best view in the whole rockies, and best experience for us as well. The living room area with the plush rugs and panoramic windows, with welcoming fire pit and hot drinks. It's everything you want to keep cozy beyond traditional rustic park lodging to modern and sophisticated stay with a touch of class.

Truly the stay of a lifetime. Would happily go back and stay again over and over.

We have only managed to book one night's accommodation, which is quite unlucky. It's the only hotel in the area, and the rooms are elegantly simple and stylish with glacier's views. In the public reception area, there is a glass wall that offers a direct breathtaking view of the glacier.

everything is good but resturant food terrible. waiter are nice. As a meetlover its rare for me not finish the dishs but steak we got is just too salty, like someone spilled a whole salt shaker on it. It feels like I'm eating cornbeef roast.

Breathtaking view - worth stopping for the night on the Icefields Parkway
When we booked, we knew that the hotel is located at the foot of the Glacier, but nothing could have prepared us for the actual view, which is absolutely stunning. It did help a lot that we arrived on a sunny day. Staying here puts you at the perfect spot for an excursion up the glacier and the Skywalk. Rooms are modern with a nice layout, beds are soft and comfortable, other room amenities are on par.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The location simply can't be better. The view of the glacier from the hotel window is absolutely breathtaking. The best part of the stay was to see the Athabasca glacier for 24 hrs in various angles of sunlight and well as the view in cloudy weather. I spent lots of time watching the glacier. I have seen the glacier many times but to see it from that vantage point for hours was mind blowing. The rooms were very clean. The amenities were excellent. The only picking point was the water pressure in the shower. It wasn't enough. The lobby was excellent with a huge window. This is the first time I spent some time in a hotel lobby. The service was top class. However, the parking was a bit too far away from the hotel especially for people with mobility issues. Even if they had a drop off point for those customers close to the main entrance, it would make a huge difference. It was definitely money well spent. This place is highly recommended.

I felt lucky to get a reservation for one night here on a holiday weekend since I kept checking the website and finally one room was available. This is the best hotel on the icefield parkway. The room was so clean, new, and has a very pleasant lighter tone. The glacier view was worth it. The surrounding area was just expansive and beautiful. It was nice to be just a few minute away from the Parker Ridge trail. Getting a room here means my family could be well rested before and after the tour. Really enjoyed the stay.

Everything from check-in to check-out was so seamless. The rooms were clean and updated and the lodge provided local made shampoo and conditioner. The front desk concierge helped us get the best table in the house for dinner since we were here for our honeymoon! The staff here were all great and made the experience super personal!

Wonderful lodge overlooking Icefield glacier. I had a nice dinner also there after completing my Colombia icefied adventure. The location is remarkable and service was great.

Stayed here for a night as we’d had the skywalk booked on the nighttime and the glacier booked the morning after. The hotel itself is worth the stay as the view is immaculate and the service from staff was incredible.
The breakfasts are worth getting too.

Our stay was wonderful! The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful, the food was amazing (it’s a small menu, but the lobster bisque was incredible), and the rooms were thoughtfully set up and clean. We also did the sky deck and glacier tour which were amazing - highly recommend. My only advice: if you book the tour and hotel room, be sure to look for the agenda on the hotel website. It’s a bit hard to find, and they don’t email it out to you ahead of time. If you get there too late, you’ll miss it.

Best hotel during our 5 day Canadian Rockies trip. The price is fair, the room is modern and clean and the view … oh man, they could have charged 300-400 easily just for the view. All the negative reviews seem to be about the how you get up here and luggage service. So if you’re a normal healthy person, you should have no problem.

Weird that there's a huge tourist population right under you, but the third floor where the rooms were was great. The sky walk and glacier walk were well organized from the lobby.

Lovely spot with beautiful rooms and front-row access to the Columbia Icefields. The hotel staff were kind, friendly, and accommodating. They hosted a 5 à 7 in the lounge for guests each day, with free drinks and charcuterie. If you're looking to book a tour of the Icefields or the Skywalk, there's a desk in the hotel for booking tours. Rooms were modern and clean, with lovely amenities.

This lodge is the most wonderful Hotel I've stayed in. I went two times last summer. Unfortunately haven't had the chance to go back this year. But it was incredible and we will be back many times in the future. The views, the service, and experience are unbeatable.
They have a welcome reception with appetizers and cocktails. And they have a fancy coffee machine always available. In the evening they have stargazing with a telescope or musical entertainment. And the VIP gives to end of day exclusive access to the sky walk. So only lodge guests are there.
You have espresso makers in room. And they have great insight on hikes. We went up a lesser known trail to a beautiful lake. Great experience. Don't pass it up.

Jade a great one night stay here. The hotel is really quite nice with a great view of the glaciers. We got the package which included arrival drinks/canapes a visit to the skywalk and a visit to one of the glaciers.
All very nice but if I was to do it all over again I would probably just visit the glacier for the day and keep going in either the Jasper or Banff areas.
As mentioned the hotel was great but the glaciers itself are not the highlight of the area. If you have been to other glaciers in the world you will probably be disappointed like we were.
Probably a visit on the way through would have been enough

We chose the all inclusive option. We were greeted by Kelsey in the parking lot who took our luggage and showed us to our room. The room was beautiful and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Great views. There was a reception with drinks and appetizers and then a tour of the skywalk. We received some good tips on local attractions. The dinner at Altitude was amazing as well as the breakfast the next morning and the service was excellent. This is truly a unique experience that I would recommend.

Great stop on the way from Banff to Jasper located on the icefields parkway. Rooms were super clean, modern and luxurious. The rate was a bit high but you do get what you pay for. Altitude restaurant had an excellent lunch buffet for $30 per person. Amazing views of the glacier from the lobby-its literally across the road!
