Langside Grocery

It’s my first time here and it’s a small intimate spot with cozy and casual vibes. Decent selection of drinks. Especially with how awesome the bartender was. She seemed to know everything inside and out with attitude, which my friend and I appreciate fully.

this place is such a gem! the atmosphere was great; it felt really laid back, cozy, and inviting. Even though I don’t live around the area when I was at Langside Grocery, I felt a sense of community with those who live around the neighbourhood. it really feels like a local spot! we even saw the neighbourhood cat!

Overall, the drinks were good! the service was great! food also great! I really enjoyed the potatoes, shrimp, and olives.

My first visit to this gem. We enjoyed a couple of very interesting new cocktails plus four dishes. We need to plan a revisit to try the other items on the menu. The place is small but so so warm. The bar area was very inviting and I will be sitting there next time. Add this place to your list!!!

Excellent neighbourhood restaurant. Cozy, charming original interior. Vintage glassware. Menu is short but everything was excellent, charcuterie, meatballs, beet salad, roasted potatoes - and the cocktails. Pricey cocktails but really well executed. Wish we had more places like this!

Incredible butternut squash soup and their salad was so good and dill-forward.
The drinks are fancy and delicious with the hint of whimsy that makes an incredible experience.

Wonderful artisanal cocktails in a pocket size neighborhood bar/restaurant. The best Trinidad Sour in town!
Not a place I would take a child (no coloring books or child's menu).
Surprisingly wheelchair accessible- the bathrooms are big and make for easy transferring.
Parking might be an issue - it's a high density residential area but quite safe to walk a couple of blocks if you have to.

Menu is small but food is solid. Small beer menu as well but the one I tired that was on tab was very delicious. It is located in a residential street and is the only restaurant you will see there. It's located in the corner of 4 way stop and has lots of street parking options. The charcuterie board and gnocchi I got was so delicate and delicious. Portions were pretty small but perfect for small bites when out for drinks. I've heard that they have really good cocktails so I am gonna have to go back to try those! They have the cutest little patio that is a must try before the end of the summer.

Fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. They make you feel very welcome as soon as you walk in the door. The dim lighting and music add to the experience. I really enjoyed the roasted potatoes. I highly recommend visiting this gem.

Sat at the bar… had some lovely drinks and great food. The service was warm and friendly - extra high-five to the GM who took time to chat while slinging drinks! Made the stay extra awesome.!

Fantastic discovery, loved the ambiance great place to hang out and enjoy a snack and a cocktail. Went here after dinner so I didn't get a chance to sample much of the food but the beef tartare was very good.
The variety of original cocktails was impressive and most were delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out.

An absolute cozy lovely after food before going home, drinking place to have a great drink talk for a few more hours and then go retire. It's one of those places, daniel craigs bond, or john wick or bob odenkirks nobody will step in after a bloody night and order a drink and sit at the corner or at the bar and drink up. :)

With vintage + retro decor coupled with bourgeoise appeal and quirky music, langside is a spot that you talk to your friends about and then take them to the spot.

I would frequent it if it was a tad bit cheaper, nonetheless the drinks are all your money's worth + getting served by a bunch of great people with great conversation that keep you in good company.

I stop by here once a month to have myself and my partner or a friend a corner and then talk about nothing or just sit there drink and watch.

They have all great drinks for you + whatever you want them to make for you they will.

Wow. What an awesome place for drinks. It's small, and dimly lit. Both of those are not bad things, it was really cool to walk in to. The service is great as well. They have a patio as well, but it was closed when I got there, so I didn't get to take a look. It's really just a different experience all around, compared to most of the bigger bars in the city. I think this might be one of my new go-to spots for a well made cocktail.

This was a real jem to go to. Great cocktails with friendly staff. Had the Black beards ghost and a couple meathook. (Not on menu but ask for it) little nieghtborhood pub. Very much worth going too.

If you would like a cozy corner to have a nice talk with your date without loud music, this is a perfect place for that.

This is an absolute must try for Winnipeg. If you want an evening out for cocktails, and want to pretend you aren’t in Winnipeg, try these guys. Service people have a character of their own and will wow you. Sit at the window and view an outside view of Winnipeg that makes you believe you are elsewhere…try it…you won’t regret it!!! (And none of your friends have heard of this place…guaranteed!!). :)

Such a great date night spot. Feels like you're in a different city. Cocktails are inventive, if a little pricy, and the hummus/ricotta dip we had was such a delicious and interesting pairing. We will be back!

Editing to say that this place gets better every time I go and if you haven't been yet, you're missing out.
