1928 Eatery & Pub

I had a fantastic experience at 1928 Eatery & Pub! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. The highlight of the visit was the piano show, which was truly spectacular. It's a great place for anyone looking to enjoy a lively atmosphere with excellent entertainment.

Popped in for a quick drink with my cousin from out of town. It was surprisingly busy and the bartender (younger woman with brown hair, I forget her name) was running. She was amazing. Thank you.

We went to 1928 for Burger Week (2023) and had the most unbelievable meal and service. Their burger creation was the best I've had! The location is perfect to go to before the movies as it's so close to the theatre. Angelina is the perfect host! She is so friendly and welcoming! Ainsley is a fantastic server too!

Food, service and atmosphere were all great. Highly recommend 1928 to watch the game or just meet up with friends.

Great atmosphere and good selection of beer on tap.
We went on a Thursday evening which was Wing Night so it got busy. Great prices on domestic draft too.
Our servers name was Ainzli, she was incredible!!! Highly recommend sitting in her section if you get the chance.

Enjoyed the Dueling Pianos on the weekend. Spectacular show with great service. Next time I'll have to try to food.

We went for a night out with friends that we haven’t seen for a while!! We made an awesome choice!! The atmosphere was great the duelling pianos were fantastic, the food and drinks were awesome !! A big shout out to the manager Daniella for getting us set up with a reservation and to our server Josh who made sure we’re were looked after all night!! If you’re looking for something to do on a Friday or Saturday night, this pub should be at the top of your list!!

So pleasantly surprised by the fantastic service by Josh. Place was very busy, we were on our way out when Josh said let me clean this table and will have drinks to you in no time. We never were empty and service was incredible. Music selection of the pianos was also so fantastic, environment was super friendly and inviting.

My boyfriend and I just moved to this area. We decided to check it out on Saturday. Very nice place. The service was incredible. Food and drinks were excellent. The two piano players were so much fun! Great entertainment! My boyfriend and I will be going back soon!

Have been there a few times now for the dueling piano nights. Daniela and her team do an amazing job serving all those who come - and the nights are hopping. The food & drink options are amazing - everything from appetizers to full meals.
The aesthetic is awesome and I highly recommend checking it out.

On the weekends, they have live pianos, singing and playing all the faves you can think of. Reserve a table if you want to be close to the show. We've been going for a while now, and every night they play 2.5 hours straight and are very entertaining!
Oh, the food is great too!

Loved the Friday night piano show. Great service… staff kept the drinks flowing and the show was awesome. Will definitely be back.

Great place for beers and good food. Live music Fridays and Saturdays. Staff are so friendly and amazing. Staff recognize regulars and their drinks are on the table before you can sit down. Awesome place for singles, couples, and groups:)

The general manager Daniella was amazing. She was accommodating and knew the drink menu and the dualing pianos were an excellent addition. The bar service with Keira was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was amazing and I'll definitely be back.

1928 is my favourite bar in Winnipeg. On Friday nights, they have the "dueling pianos", which are two awesome live piano players who take song recommendations and put on a great show. If you like live music, dancing, and a good time then this is the place to go on Friday nights!

Outstanding customer service from both management and staff and the dual piano players were superb. Enjoyed a great evening with friends celebrating my birthday.
