Sapperton Landing Park

I come here almost every day to reflect upon my gambling sessions. Some sessions are positive but most are negative. I keep staring at the water to understand what I'm doing wrong. Sometimes I feel like the otter in the water is laughing at my painful reflections. He's smart he can see it in my eyes. I'll show him, I'm a winner, and when he doesn't see me again he'll know I made it.

Great scenery, good walk ways along the river. A bit noisy from the train and the skytrain, but the small one enjoy watching the trains. Good family picnic gazebo.

Quiet place for meditation, picnic, biking … But not during the season of Salmon fishing. Newly built washroom is clean, but the light sensor switched off too soon. It’s a good place to get calm and chill.

Nice waterfront walk. Handy bathrooms and lots of places to have a rest if needed. It is pretty flat and paved. Dog friendly (on leash) with picnic tables dotted throughout. Decent amount of parking. The entrance is a bit sketchy as it's right off of Columbia, and the big trucks can barrle through there. Good place to watch the river and catch some wildlife.

This is a very peaceful and quiet area where you can walk along the Fraser River and Brunette River marveling at the majesty of the two rivers; the trees; the birds; and the unique location - nestled behind the Skytrain and rail tracks.

It can be difficult to get to by car as the signage isn't great and the road system in New West only allows for one entrance. Exiting can be a doozy given that you are on a hill trying to merge onto a very busy route with lots of blindspots.

Parking is limited and the spots are tight. But accessing the park via foot or bikes is easy. There are plenty of beaches scattered throughout the walk to rest and take in the views. There are some picnic benches as well. Few but they are there.

Its worth the visit if you want to relax, walk and rest and just stare out onto the water to marvel at the beauty of our surroundings.

A surprising little gem along the Fraser River in the Sapperton neighbourhood of New Westminster. Even with Skytrain and truck noise overhead, this small inner city waterfront park is beautiful and serene. Lots to see and explore!

Perfect place to relax, picnic or just enjoying the view of the Fraser river. You can also fish here. Parking is available.

There's quite the buzz. The area That I've visited most is RCH, plus medical offices. One can get a Starbucks walk around the corner where there are Table & chairs to sit outdoors & enjoy . There are wee ones playing outdoors from their daycare. Also bldgs for rent are available. Water front views! Sapperton SkyTrain STN. Very convenient.

Great place, separate trails 1 for walkers and 1 for bikes. Lots of seating, beautiful view of river.

Lovely place to sit, stand, walk, run, speed-walk, skip around, bike, jog, March, sprint, chase, medium-walk, jump. Overall great place to sit. Lovely.

Sneaky little boardwalk , and seawall along the mighty Fraser. Check out the plaque naming all the mountains in the far of range. Knowledge is power

Great go-to park, not much here but it means it's not too busy. Nice walk.

The park is a beautiful way to view the mighty Fraser! The parks staff keep it clean and presentable!
