Safeway McBride

This Safeway store is fantastic. I did my grocery on Thursday May the 30th.
The employees are down to earth. The store manager is very disciplined. It's beyond my expectations. Honestly I don't mind spending a million dollars shopping in that store. Kudos to you all.

5 for being a vibrant place to shop, good weekly sales, & atmospherically nice.

My favourite things about the store- lots of good bakery items to choose from, along with fresh deli goods+ helpful staff members for whenever I need help with anything.

Plus, i can’t forget about the Starbucks+seating area, always enjoyable for relaxing and a coffee, always somebody nice to talk to.

Not only is Safeway McBride convenient, it also has a huge variety of household items. The staff is friendly and very helpful. It has a nice homey atmosphere. Plenty of parking with other handy stores attached.

Great store great location. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. I love the selection especially bakery and produce. Everything is fresh and lots of choices. Prices can be higher than other grocery stores but they have some great sales

Baker, despite short notice, made a lovely cupcake cake to share with hockey teammates of daughter on her birthday. Even added plastic hockey-themed rings!

Convenient. Prices are normal like everything in Vancouver

Now we’re talking Safeway at McBride. I wouldn’t want to be at any other Safeway people that work here are thumbs up always. Pharmacy there people are just wonderful. Very very helpful. So thank you Safeway. I am a very happy customer.

Great store. I've only been here on Sunday mornings. It isn't that busy and the service staff are very kind and helpful.

Safeway is a grocery store chain known for its savings and variety of goods. They've always got pretty fresh produce and good cuts of meat. This location has a large parking lot but is always busy and tough to navigate because there's so many cars coming in and out. Inside is pretty well stocked and the staff here are friendly. Overall I'd say it's one of the better grocery stores in the area.

Awesome staff but food overpriced

I've been shopping here for a decade, it's always been a pleasant experience interacting with the staff here. Everybody is very down to earth and polite at this location, whether their shift is just starting or ending. The store is well kept and organized, and I have an easy time finding anything I require thanks to a clean and consistent layout. Prices are competitive with the big W and always beat the pants off of Save-On.
Anybody having a bad experience here is most probably suffering from a hanger episode and could use a bite to eat, or just has a bad attitude with other people.

Decent Safeway. Cleaner than usual. Great staff.

Will even deliberately stock items you've seen in other safeways if requested.
I had a manager notice I was looking for an item unsuccessfully, and went out of his way to get it in.

I purchased 28 trays of food for a memorial service. The staff at the Deli were extremely helpful and kind. They took my order over the phone and had everything prepared on time. They helped load up our vehicles and ensured that everything was properly placed. I’m so thankful for how easy it was to work with this location. We received a lot of positive feedback about the quality and presentation of the food. Thank you Debbie and team! You’re a rockstar!

Really good produce here, love the cut up fruit to go, and hot meals to go, great bakery goods too! Way better then save on foods which is over priced, and constantly has near expiring goods or already expired.
