Quayside Park

Small park with beautiful river view. Children loves to see train passing over the park. Restroom is also near the park. We had our first playgroup here and the kids loved it.

Great park, beautiful walk and flowers in April on one sunny day !!!!

Great park to bring children to. Lots of activities. The smallest ones tend to enjoy the sand box area while the bigger ones have plenty of places to climb, jump, and a great tunnel slide to zip down. Have used this place many times. Play ping pong? Bring some balls and paddles to get in a game on one of the two provided tables. If you’re lucky, you may even see the older gentlemen practice his forehand smashes. His set up is quite interesting. Great place for families to enjoy. Hope you are able make good use of it.

This small park is along side the Fraser River new-west just off the Waterfront Esptanade (walkway) cool little park kids toys, ping ping-pong ball tables. Quayside walk is very well landscaped there are palm trees, cherry blossom trees...etc there are washrooms past the park near the entrance. There is a great view of the river and the bridges. Was really cool today I spotted a seal swimming around near the park.💯💯

We spent about 2 hours and could only cover like 20% of the river side. But it looks vibrant at this time because of the tulips and kawzan cherry blossoms.

Beautiful park with different scenic views: river, river bank, lampposts with hanging baskets of flowers, boats, exotic architecture, artificial lake with a fountain, man made falls, bridges, zigzagging railing, . . . Nice place for a walk even on a rainy day.

Relaxing and peaceful walkway by the water, it looks amazing on a bright sunny day. Many people walk their dogs along here, there is a dog park at the end of the walkway, and a children's park as well. It takes about 30-45 to walk to the end and back, depending on your pace. Lots of beautiful flower gardens and benches to sit on. Nice place to go on a peaceful walk

Great park for a walk on a sunny day. Nicely planted flowers and trees all around it. Coffee and little shops all around it. Fresh breeze In the evening.

Quayside park is in the area of waterfront esplanade in New westminster.
You can get there in a few minutes from New westminster Station, from the bridge where the cars go around.
When you get in the waterfront esplanade, you can walk from the tallest tin soldier to quayside park. The path is easy because is everything straight, you'll see people walking with dogs, and it is a peaceful path to walk alone or with company.
Quayside park is not big, but is enough for children. There are benches where adults can watch the kids while they can play ping pong o staying in the benches.
The green areas of this park have big balls where you can identify you are close to the park. Those balls are red and they stick to the grass, it's just decoration for children so they can be happy, the balls have no other use than decoration, it would be dangerous for anybody if you kick them.
What i like about this park is that is very safe for children, is not close to the waterfront, and it has an advantage because there are big apartments, so this means that the sun is not so strong because it has shades and some trees also give shade for the kids.

Nice waterfront walkway in downtown new Westminster BC. Located my the Westminster quay and a short walk from the New Westminster sky train station. The. Quay has a variety of shops and good options and the walkway has a kids park as well. There is also a dog park at the end of the walkway if you have pets. Definitely recommend if your in the area to check out on a nice day.

With a beautiful waterfront walk and phenomenal kids playground (built Dec 2017) it's easy to spend a day enjoying this park. River market is right along the trail and easily assessable from the New West SkyTrain station.

This area makes for a lovely, picture-esq stroll along the Fraser River. Bonus if you enjoy the smell of Creosote... Lots of birds and boats to see and the City does an excellent job on maintain the numerous flower beds found along the way. However, as of this posting Nov 23 2021 - Construction as cutoff much of the boardwalk east of the Quay.

Gorgeous, well manicured lawns and flower beds. Great for walking and walking pets. It has a great boardwalk with some chairs and covered seating area. Also has looking glasses at some spots.

I shouldn't even be reviewing this little slice of paradise, as it will undoubtedly bring more attention to a quiet and serene riverside walk. If you know u know. The Quayside ferry from new west is the best way to get here. Remember to tip your hat to the boat driver!!

Love this board walk it is extremely sad part of it burned down. It was many things for many people weather you are on a romantic walk or jogging for exercise this is a must.

Great little park I love it you will too. Has a bridge close by and so neat and clean. Will be back for sure .
