Everyone at Uptown Family Dental is just amazing! I have been going to Dr. Lam’s office for more than 5 years upon the recommendation from a friend who is a patient here as well. Recently I broke a tooth which needed a crown. I was nervous because I’ve never had a crown done before, but Dr. Lam took time to explain to me the procedure and answer all my questions. I just had my crown glued on and I've had no issues and it feels great to have a whole tooth again! I Highly recommend Uptown Family Dental to anyone who is looking for a new dentist!

I am very grateful to have been referred to see Dr Hedy Lam & Uptown Family Dental. Like many people, I'm an anxious patient but the staff are very welcoming and put me at ease. I had several major fillings replaced (after some questionable care from a previous provider) and Dr Lam explained everything and is very skilled with the anesthesia. She managed two difficult repairs that could have resulted in root canals, but 4 months later everything seems stable and strong. The office staff processed my claims without any effort on my behalf. I just got a call to book my next cleaning, and I'm feeling happy to have found a place close to home that I trust for my care. Thanks Uptown & Dr Lam!

Everybody is kind and welcoming. They are compassionate and do great work. I had my wisdom tooth pulled and shockingly had very little pain. Everyone here helps to make going to dentist easier. From the receptionists to the dental assistants to the dentist herself. They don't hound you with calls or emails telling you to come in every few days, like many other dentist offices. When I get my reminder call I know it's because it's actually time for my check up and not just a sales call.

As someone who both loathes and fears going to the dentist, I was incredibly nervous to try out a new dentist. The team here made the experience so safe and welcoming. They walk you through every step, and want you to feel as comfortable as you can while getting dental work done. Dr.Lam and the team are dedicated to excellent client care and it shows!

Have been going to this dental practice since 2000... Dr. Lam and staff are Amazing. Would highly recommend. Will be sad to leave once I move out of province next year but hopeful to find a dental office just as good near my new home. Dr. Lam, Nancy, Laura, Vicky & Staff, you are all Awesome!!

Dr. Ana is Amazing Dentist. She is very professional. All staffs are very friendly and they know what they are doing. Very detailed and kind hearted people work here. Best dentist I've ever seen in my experience.

I take the extra time to drive out here from Vancouver after some bad experiences with my previous dentist. It is worth the trip to get trustworthy care. Dr. Lam has taken great care of me, even fixing an uncomfortable filling that was not her work to begin with.

Very grateful for the staff here, they are kind, understanding and take away the anxiety of going to the dentist.

My experience everytime I go there is Amazing!!!! Dr. Lam describes what she will do and always asks if you have any questions.. The ladies there are the best!!!

I initially gave one star because mu husband had an emergency situation and was in pain for 7 days before he was helped but dr Lam called me and explained to me that they were under impression that my husband wants to come on Mondays only which is not true anymore ( he used to have free Mondays but not anymore so every day is ok now) so it seems that it was a big misunderstanding. They rescheduled 2 patients to see my husband the following Monday so I am increasing my rating. It was nice of her to call and explain the reasons. They will try their best to accommodate the patient.
