Was a regular at Safeway but there customer service and products have gone downhill to the extreme, I enjoyed my shop here after leaving Safeway because half the stuff I wanted was expired or out of stock. I must say this place has great customer service and great stock! Right on save on! I will be back again …. Nice to also have cashiers that smile and ask you how your days going. I don’t think I ever had that at Safeway ever. You gained a new customer. Cheers

Save-on-food’s scone has been my favourite pastry at the grocery store. The new packaging makes me love them even more. 🥳

Enjoy buying groceries from here as they are conveniently on my way to/from work. The store is clean; cashiers friendly; selection of goods is perfect for my cooking needs. Thanks!

Update October 11, 2021 — really enjoy the self checkout counters as they are faster than the one with clerks. Enclosed pic of highly recommended English Bay chocolate chip cookies from the bakery section!

Nice welcoming security with common sense and good prices and selection here with some healthy soups and cereals. Felt fortunate to have a good experience here

Was a great place to shop, but now the high price of items have to shop where there is cheaper prices

Celina is my favourite person to buy my beef tenderloin from. She has the best demeanor and great customer service skills. Such a good person.

I often shop at this location, it is a clean well maintained store its easy to navigate through as well. Also the bathroom is on the right as you walk through the second set of doors into the store. It doesn't require a key so if it is locked it is in use. The staff are very kind and helpful, security Is attentive as well. Would recommend this shopping location 10/10

It's just a Grocery Store.
... with a great bakery, good salads and sandwiches at the deli, and a wide variety of fresh fruits and veggies.
The shelves are usually well stocked, and always clean. The variety of items is quite varied, and include cultural specialties. Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. And it's mostly my favorite grocery today.

Save On Foods is my to go to grocery store in British Columbia. This chain can be found in most small towns all across, it always has exceptional produce quality, and the More Rewards program is simple to use and understand and no pun intended is rewarding. The stores usually have really good deals on all types of grocery items.

My favourite grocery store by a country mile

Lots of nice workers that work there. One lady working there used her debt card to pay for my stuff and allowed me to give her the money in replace cause cash register was fooled up and needed pay card. So I could have my stuff.

Always a come-through for my groceries and last minute ideas. Vegan stuff, an overseas section, super nice folks, it's New West pride here. Shoutout to Sunny from the deli, saved my holiday charcuterie board.

I have been using the Save On Foods Pharmacy at Royal City Centre Mall for several years for all of my prescriptions and over the counter medications, as well as questions.

I have always found staff to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with my needs and questions and feel relieved when I am unsure about any new medications.

They fill scripts in a reasonable amount of time and don't rush me when I have questions.

I also note how kind they are to seniors when I am there.

I love this place and everybody is really nice here. Great food and prices with the free card. I hope they restock more of the Amy's Vietnamese banh-mi burritos in the freezer. They got me hooked, might be the best vegan food ever! Come here first, then only go to Walmart if I absolutely must.

I shop here at least four times a week. I absolutely love the pharmacists and the staff are so friendly and helpful and they always remember me and greet me with a smile and a welcome greeting. The prices are very competitive and if they don't have what I'm looking for they will order it. I especially love the meat department there is a great selection and it's always fresh and most items are priced competitively. I really enjoy shopping at this store.

One of my favourite stores in Uptown New Westminster. They offer great variety of products and vegetables/fruits are always fresh

The most awesome cheapest place to get turkeys for either Christmas or Thanksgiving. I paid $32 for a 18 pound turkey. Cheaper then even Superstore and No Frills

I was not familiar with the parkade and got lost, searching for my vehicle. I had been shopping in another store and the grocery cart locked up, with many bags inside of it. I was walking, very upset in tears, when a young lady named Iesha or Aisha, who was a Save On Foods employee, came to my aid. I believe she may have been on a break, but that did not stop her from assisting me, not once- but twice! She even walked on the sidewalk as I drove my car outside of the parkade, in order to find the Walmart parkade entrance (so I could retrieve my groceries being held by another store employee). This young lady went above and beyond to assist me and I want her to know how grateful I was for all of her help! Fantastic Save on Foods employee!

I really wish they had a butcher here and more options for quicker food that's fresh. Like made fresh sandwiches to order and pizza etc etc. Other places like Safeway and thrifties plus whole food etc do a way better job in that sector. Staff here is good for sure though. Just wish the brand would pick it up a notch with options and keeping local as much as possible. This is closeer than other stores but I find myself going to other places because I enjoy the selection better.
