Bluenose Laundromat

Every time I go there and it's the only place I'll go that I will take my laundry and the ladies and the gentleman over there all workers are so nice and I'm going to tell you they go over and above what they do in the price of there's no laundry mat in the city or any other city they can even compete with blue nose awesome people awesome shop work always done when they say I would suggest this for anyone if you just drop me off like I do that's right I never bring laundry detergent out of fabric softeners I ask them if all that in and you know issues they tell me a couple hours I can pick it up or pick it up in the morning you guys need the long dress Go to the blue nose and they will take care of you to pick that baby and five stars if I wish I could give them size I would fortunately I get so but yeah

Wonderful experience! We had dropped off a huge amount of laundry over the new year and they had finished it for the first day they were open again! Quick and friendly service, we will be returning customers!

The workers are great, always helpful when needed. The place is clean and we usually never have to wait because there are so many machines. They also take debit to get cash for the machines now!

Fantastic service. Visiting from overseas. Turned around a week's worth of washing in about 4 hours. Cleaned and folded.

I am from out of town; found myself in dire need of a laundromat and had no idea what I was doing. Bluenose is amazing! I am so grateful I came here.
I stopped at few different places; I got bad vibes from them; they made me so nervous.

I found Bluenose- what a blessing! This place is great.
The lady who was attending this place is kind, polite and very good at what she does.
In a moment, she made my day better and my clothes are clean and my spirits lifted.
The place is clean, organized, well spaced out. And it’s bright too. Which helps a lot.
People who were doing laundry here are kind and polite.

FYI the washers cost $2.75 per load and the dryers cost $0.25 for 3 minutes of drying time. The folks at the front can provide change if you only have bills or toonies on you. :)

Very happy to have found this place. I needed to wash my blanket and not all laundromats have big washers for this, some even particularly warn customers not to wash blankets in their washers. I called Bluenose this morning telling the owner the size and kind of blanket I have and went there after confirming that their machines can handle this. The owner helped me with operating the washer and the whole washing and drying experience is a bliss! Machines are a little old but they do the job just fine. Will definitely go back when I need next time.

I was there this evening and had a marvelous experience. I needed a receipt, which is unusual, and it was all fine. I got my fabulous service from Yetli. You rocked my world tonight, Yetli. My thanks :) Whenever I can't do laundry at home, I'll be doing it at Bluenose!

We were from out of town and had a huge load cleaned and folded for $11.50 while we walked the harbour! Super nice folks and easy to park.

I am not a regular laundromat user but I live in the neighborhood and had a machine on the fritz so tried it out. I found it very clean and efficient! The owner was incredibly friendly and provided me with change for bills and provided direction on using the machines. Would definitely come back if needed in the future!

We have been going here for a long while, Bill and Marie were/are amazing people. Since the laundromat changed hands things have changed, it is still a great place to go to even with the increase of drop off, a better balance would be nice but that all comes in time. Reviews and opinions or just that go in and see it for yourself

I love the drop off wash and fold service. It is reasonably priced and my clothes are folded as I like them.

After a delightful phone call with the owner, I decided to bring my industrial sized Ikea bag that was overflowing with laundry, down to the Bluenose Laundromat. During my walk, I was looking behind me to ensure I wasn't leaving a trail of unmentionables behind me. Thankfully, I arrived with everything, and I was greeted by a lovely woman. I, literally, dropped my bag on the floor with relief ( it was heavy) and was told it would be done by 6pm. Could it be this easy? Sure enough, I arrived at 6pm with my 6 year old, and it was as if we were family. She told me she was able to do two loads. The total was $20 taxes in. I was pleasantly shocked! I had two Queen sheet sets, a Queen duvet cover set, towels, bath sheets, and jeans and the list goes on. Everything was beautifully organized and wrinkle free! I highly recommend the Bluenose Laundromat!

So I have yet to take clothes here but I called today and spoke to the manager of the main depot to get advice on dry cleaning an evening gown. After describing the dress, he actually advised me to wash it myself as the fabric would do better with washing than dry cleaning. I was very impressed! So now, I have a few things that ned to be dry cleaned. Guess where I will go!

Great Owners, onsite 100% of the time. Dry Cleaning Service is always timely and the cheapest in town. When I first moved to Halifax I searched high & low to find the cheapest (but still quality dry cleaning service) but by far, min 25%-50% cheaper than any other spot I could find in the city. Then to get good quality on top of that, I can't really say more.

Lots of washers and dryers. The washing machines are so clean! I watched two staff members wiping the washing machines off frequently after use while I was there. No gross dusty crud around the top. They were pretty friendly too.

Very well managed laundromat in Halifax. $2.50 for a normal size washing machine and 25 cents for 3 minutes in dryer. They gave me change and also can supply you detergent if you need it. Very friendly gentleman running it. Parking is available on the street.

Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the man and woman who work here but they were both very pleasant and friendly. We were on road trip and this laundromat was the closest to our hotel. The establishment was very clean and there were enough machines and dryers which was nice because I had to wash and dry for my family of five. In addition, the gentleman suggested a nearby restaurant where my family and I could go have breakfast.

By far the best laundromat in Halifax. Owners Bill & Maria ate some of the friendliest people and hard working people I’ve ever met. I’ve been a customer in and off over the last ten years and even though I have laundry in my home I’ll still head over and do all my bedding in their big commercial size washer. The other bonus with Bluenose is all their dryers double capacity propane heated, so your clothes are dry in under thirty minutes. Bluenose is also in a great part of the city with lots of good eats and drinks within a few minutes walk.
