Shogo is *amazing.* Really down to earth and he takes the time to explain the why and how behind problems, which hasn't always been my experience at auto shops. They were referred to me by another shop. I have a RHD Toyota soarer. They ordered the parts for me and had my car completed in the exact time they said they would! Gave me the quote before commencing the work! I trust them completely and my car is with them again for a new issue. Won’t take my car anywhere else! And the previous person giving the bad review about them not answering the phone? ... hmm I’d rather my mechanic work on my car than sit in the office!!! Common sense!! I've only had a positive experience at Japanoid. Parts prices seems reasonable comparing to the quotes I got from Japan directly. The owner was helpful the phone trying to resolve an issue with my Delica. The work Japanoid performed on my Delica was reasonably prices and the fix the did solve the problem.

I had a great experience here. I was having a hard time importing a Japanese car by myself because of lack of research but Japanoid helped me big time. Now I have a Japanese kei van in Vancouver.

I wouldn't let the negative reviews influence you if you want really great work on your vehicle. When I find a really great mechanic that knows my vehicle & particularly notices things I've missed (like that the Hiace has 2 window washer fluid tanks - 1 front 1 back) and takes the time to explain it, I stick with them. We bought our Hiace from a retired Firefighter / diesel mechanic who said they're the only shop he would use. Pretty great recommendation!

I bought a car though a different broker and they strongly recommended that I have my car looked over by the guys a Japanoid. I am glad that I listened. They found a couple of problems with my new car , but still managed to get me on the road the same day. Every car I buy from Japan will be stopping in to see Shogo and his team from now on.
