Very cool and unique fire station

Not a fan of this location at all. There is MORE than enough industrial space in the NE to accommodate a station that is not in the heart of small residential streets. On Saturday there was over 5 calls that I heard from 8am until night time and on... There is possibly only one driver to attempts to be curteous to the residents when they can, and not turn the sirens full blast until the main road if not necessary. The ambulance would also do that in Canmore coming down and road near multiple hotels and apartments from their hospital, lights on but not turn the sirens on until the main road. This is still loud sure that is the point, but no where near startling or as bad as when it's full blast from the get go.

I don't care if people who work there think the house is NEAT! This should not be inside communities this close.

This station clearly is a massive support location - I am thankful for their services - but this is not the way to go about it.
I believe they need to build a Stand Alone full Station at the METIS and 128 ... so they are closer to all communities with faster access and the hightway etc. It is doing everyone a diservice including them and then having to wake the entire neighbourhood up all times of the day. This 5-6 times a day or more is absolutely insane. I just moved to this Quadrant and is so hard to tune it out when you can see them from your bedroom window.
