Fairmont Le Château Frontenac

This was the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast every morning was wonderful! Location was perfect, view from our room was amazing. The air can get dry overnight so we asked for a humidifier which helped a bit. We would have loved to be able to explore the hotel more but much of it was roped off. I would absolutely stay here again if I visited Quebec again. This was truly a five star experience. Thank you for the hospitality.

I stayed there in January with my little adventure cat Picchu for two nights. We are always looking for pet friendly (cat friendly) accommodations on our travels. The service exceeded all expectations, the staff was incredible and accommodating at all times. We can't say enough about Cindy at the front desk, she made our stay even more memorable. This hotel is impeccable inside and out, true luxury with a friendly feel. We never once felt out of place and was welcomed by everyone. The best pet friendly hotel we stayed at, cannot wait to stay there again.

Simply gorgeous hotel. Unique experience with world class service. Rooms are very different so ensure you get clarity on room layout etc if that's of concern. Ours is a city view on the eaves of the castle so have some interesting angles drop downs and posts within the room. But adds to the awesomeness all around. Highly recommend a stay here at least once in life!

We stayed here in December, just before Christmas. The hotel was decorated beautifully. The hotel is a perfect location for exploring old Quebec and all the Christmas markets. We stayed in a gold level room with separate concierge level access and check in. It was well worth it. The main lobby gets very busy during the day but quiets down in the later evenings.The lower level has an interesting Quebec history display and the second floor, when it's open, has an interesting display about the hotel's history. We also enjoyed the guided tour of the hotel. We arrived by train and it was easy to get a cab to the hotel. We can't wait to go back!

My Wife and I stayed here a few years ago and this has to be one of the nicest stays we have ever had. It's not a new hotel, but super well maintained. If you are into new places and all the modern amenities this is not your place. But if you like old world charm and service you will love the Frontenac

Special place with 5 star service. The staff makes you feel special as a guest and goes out of their way to make your stay a special experience. The best location in Quebec City and an amazing history with the hotel as well. Very good restaurants on site. They offer a variety of kid friendly activities and are very welcoming to all. Highly recommend!

We had the most magical stay at Le Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City. We were greeted at the door with amazing bell service. When we arrived to the room it was magnificently decorated with a Christmas tree and beautiful plants and flowers. We were also greeted with an amazing gift basket of local treats. Each day we receive a new present. One day we were given fresh baked banana chocolate chip bread. We enjoyed the lounge amenities and was always greeted with a smile. The staff was amazing. We will return for sure! It was truly an unforgettable Christmas stay!

The iconic hotel measures up to its legacy in Quebec. The staff, the location, the rooms all impeccable. We were given a room for our first night that was next to an elevator. We highly suggest requesting one AWAY from the elevators as these rooms are noisy. Our request to move was swiftly acommodated after our first sleepless night to a larger room away from elevators and on a higher floor. Will absolutely return to this historic gem in Old town.

Beautiful hotel in Quebec City. Very iconic, apparently the most photographed hotel in the world. Not sure if that is accurate or not... It is decorated beautifully for Christmas. I would recommend trying out the lounge in the lobby area. I believe it is called 1608. I've never stayed here yet, but I do intend to in the future. Follow for more....

A lovely Fairmont hotel in the heart of Quebec City! it’s perfectly situated to make the most of your time at old Quebec.
The service was perfect specialy at the stage 14 and the restaurant of BISTRO LE SAM was top.

I did not had a chance to stay at the hotel but the hotel is spectacular and looks amazing from a distance. We were roaming around nearby on a snowy night and it looked marvellous. The streets across are vibrant with plenty of stuff to enjoy and eat. Would love to stay here once.

I stayed there only for 1 night. The hotel is so beautiful. The decoration inside the hotel is very fine and retro. Room is comfortable. According the hotel is renovated from an old castle, they have to put the air conditioning host on the roof under your window (if your room is on high floors and the window faces the inner courtyard). But there is not any big noises.

This hotel is out of this world. Great service, great location and luxuriously comfortable. Dinning and entertainment options are numerous and old Quebec City is a hoot. If you have an awful experience here, it’s likely something wrong with you and not the hotel.

This was our first time staying on a Fairmont property, the experience was sublime. Our room was one of the few that still had a fireplace! Amidst roaming the cobblestone streets of old Quebec City and returning to our room in this castle we found ourselves lost in time. The friendly staff (Chantal) was very accommodating. A gym staff demonstrated their dedication when they delivered my lost items to my room after closing the pool on 19 Dec 23 (wish I knew his name but thank you!). I can confirm the overall professionalism because I've been intimately involved in the luxury hotel's industry. FUN FACT: We checked in on 18 Dec 23, turns out the hotel turned 130 years that day!

What a great experience it was to stay at the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac! When checking in we were very surprised to hear that Pascal had offered us an upgrade to a larger room with a king bed. Such a nice corner room it was too! With a very nice view and very comfortable bed. On our two evenings eating at Sam Bistro, our food and drinks were mouth watering. Not to mention Sherri and the Annie that were the epitome of excellence in their warm and friendly service. We were on cloud nine. On our first morning brunch experience at Place Dufferin, we were met by Isabel that was just as nice and friendly as the other two. Never missing anything at our table and the food was plentiful with so many choices and very tasty. Then as the pièce de résistance, Tristan the restaurant manager found us a last minute table for the amazing Sunday brunch at the Champlain Restaurant. Omg what decadence!!! The food was impeccable, so tasty and so many choices I went back 4 times and never had the same things in my plate. Needless to say Renée, our waiter was again remarkable. The cherry on top of our amazing three day weekend Sunday. That brunch is to be experienced at least once. But I’ll definitely go back again!

As always, a most enjoyable experience. The building and facilities are excellent, but the quality that makes it stand out from all other hotels is the staff. Friendly, competent and tolerant of my sorry attempt at French. They do not seem to be acting, they are genuinely welcoming.

Everything was top notch! When I called to make the reservation they had asked if it was any special occasion that was bringing us there and I had indicated it was our first anniversary and we really had not taken a honey mood so this was like our mini moon. The upgrade and chocolate covered strawberries were such a great surprise. Everyone at the hotel were so helpful and accommodating and it was just such a beautiful hotel, we didn't want to leave! We love the city of Quebec too - such a cool vibe. We will definitely be back!

The most magnificent and famous hotel in Quebec. You MUST book a tour of this amazing hotel to fully appreciate its history and all the important events that happened and important people who stayed there, and more recently, also the movies and TV drama that were filmed there too, which includes the well known k-drama The Goblins. It's both entertaining and informative, and we are confident to say it you won't be bored. There are also plenty of wonderful restaurants that won't disappoint your. You should definitely make a reservation, especially during high seasons.

Worth every penny. From the service to the room we loved our one night stay. Added bonus was all the hotel activities. Truly worth the splurge.
