Lovely place with delicious food. I was recommended to come here if I was ever coming by Quebec city. I was looking for something light to eat so we ordered the salads and I was pleasantly surprised. The pastries were exceptional too! I had the duck salad. As for the place, be prepared to do a long line during festive times and its a bit crowded to sit down. The format of large tables makes it so you need to get up any time someone wants to sit in the middle area. Otherwise a lovely experience.

Must go place in your list if you plan to have a nice breakfast! They have varieties of bakery option.
, and everything looks amazing. We tried few and loved their twisted chocolate croissant! Its a is must have. I am pretty sure other items must be delicious as well. They also have lunch options

It is an absolutely amazing cafeteria in the heart of Quebec City. We were headed to another restaurant when we saw some tourists standing out of this restaurant and eating tasty croissant 🥐. We couldn’t cross this place without trying one. So we went inside and saw a big cafeteria with long queues on three cash counters. There was a meal section, a coffee section and a bakery section. We spent an hour and a half, tried two of their lunch menus. And then a couple of coffees with some croissants, pain au chocolate, a chocolate eclair. It was all very very tasty. We were very satisfied with our meals and only paid 50 CA$. I’m already recommending this city and this restaurant to all of my
Canadian friends and I’ll definitely go there again. As it is in the city center, don’t expect to find parking around it. They take all sorts of payments, and there’s a lot of sitting area. Although, around 12pm expect a lot of rush, and long waiting times.
But definitely a try. Over anything else in Quebec City.

A busy bakery with so many options! Was torn between everything 🤣 ordered an almond chocolate croissant and it was so good!
Came back for a second bite and there were more options than yesterday!
The chocolate was perfectly mixed with the almond sauce, they were not too sweet and I’m pleased with it.
The blueberry one was so delicious when it was heated up!
A MUST-GO in Quebec's old town!

My daughter recommended this cafe 10 years ago. Since then, every time we come to Quebec City, we always visit this cafe at different times of the day. The cafe menu is very large, because there is a large selection of baked goods. Indeed, the most delicious croissants are here. Despite the queue, we received our order very quickly.

I loved the pastries at this place. Specifically the almond and chocolate pastry. Also tried the coffee and the chocolate.

Husband had menu of the day that included a piece of quiche, soup, coffee and a small dessert.

Service is fast and, most of the times, kind. I got the almond chocolate pastry at least 5 times during my visit in Quebec. Really recommend it.

The best flaky croissants and the dulce de lèche croissant is delicious. The restaurant is fully decorated for Christmas and looks like a winter wonderland! 💕. You have to come and try their pastries!

Lovely bakery that has yummy croissants!!! I tried two kind, plain and chocolate. I like plain one more! Crispy, buttery, not greasy. Even it was not the best croissant I have had, it was on top of my list. I could have one everyday if it doesn’t have calories 🤣
And the opening hours were friendly, you could take it as breakfast or dessert after meals. Like us, we took one to have a picnic on the lawn in front of Fairmont Le Château Frontenac.

The best croissants ever! Absolutely delicious. So buttery. I bought 3 and ate them throughout the morning and wish I had gone back to get more. Next time I will have to try different flavours, they had so many. Huge case full of every dessert you could ever want.

Came in around 9 a.m. in the morning over the weekend and there was a line. Waited about 15 mins. Loved the hot croissant sandwich with bacon egg and cheese. I don't know about this place being the best but it definitely didn't disappoint. Would recommend.

As I asked the concierge at my hotel where to get some lunch, he recommended this place. Roughly a 10 minute walk from the Hilton, this was the perfect place to grab a ham and brie baguette. Accompanied with a latte and small potato salad, this was all I needed to be satisfied. They have many other items such as salads, deserts, etc. And since you're in the heart of old Quebec City, there are many other cafes and shops to explore.

One of the best and most famous bakery’s.
They have such huge variety of bakery, pastries, deserts and sandwiches and salads. Their prices and great and affordable as well. The place is clean and always busy. The coffee is also ok. Their sandwiches are great for lunch and will fill you up, they have different sandwiches with different tastes that are great.
Definitely recommend this place

This breakfast was a delightful experience, deserving of a solid five stars! The bagels and croissants were perfectly baked, achieving that wonderful balance of crispiness on the outside and softness on the inside. The flavors were exquisite, and the variety of toppings and fillings offered made for an exciting breakfast. It's a heavenly start to the day that I'd recommend to anyone who appreciates delicious pastries and bagels. I can't wait to return for more!

Did a takeout for the train of a slice of Quiche Lorraine, a baguette, a pain au chocolate and pain au amandine. Quiche is very tasty with very flaky crust and good filling. Did not have time, but you can get quiche, soup and drink for $15. Not great for takeout and moving at train station with luggage. The pastries were decent but not as flaky as I liked but I did live for 2 years in France, so might be a little picky

We were in town on a cruise ship and stopped by here for breakfast. The combo Matin was amazing! It’s a croissant with ham egg cheese and hollandaise. We also got a pastry. Huge area inside to sit and relax. We would definitely come back!

Incredible food! There is usually a long wait, and there seemed fewer people than needed for a long weekend Saturday to speed up the line, but all in all the wait was worth the quality. The croissant was delicious. Had the most amazing macarons… crispy shell and soft inside. Worth giving a try!

An awesome bakery place at the heart of old port in Quebec City.
Went there twice and everything was delicious. You can find pastries 🥐 that no other place has if you are an early bird!
Heads up: you need to ge there at least before 10:00 to get almondine pastry. That’s our challenge next time. Can’t wait to try their almondine 🤤

Love, love, love this place!!! I regret not getting more pastries from here. It took about 5~7 mins to order (there were about 5 people in front of me). They have a spacious seating area indoors and a few tables outdoors. The croissants as well as other cakes/pastries were buttery and so good!
