Chalets Lac à La Truite

This is by far our most loved place to go for a getaway chalet. It was our first time, my wife and I with our 4 months old baby girl and we enjoyed every moment.

The chalet was clean and fully equipped with a private Sauna and Jacuzzi. The views of the sunset and sunrise are worth all the memories.

We will definitely be booking this getaway once a year!

A great family gathering in a beautiful location. The chalet has a great view to the lake and it was super clean. The kitchen is well equipped although I'd add a strainer or a colander. Everything else was well thought of and cared for. We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool as well as the sauna, and of course the paddle boats by the lake. So glad we find you!

We don't get away very often so we were just looking to have a nice relaxing weekend, we just kind of hoped it would be the right spot. We had no plans or adventures in mind, we just wanted a nice place to relax and recharge and we found our oasis right here at Chalets Lac a la Truite. Check in was quick and easy with Diana, She is very welcoming and friendly and takes the time to give you all of the necessary information you need. These nicely renovated chalets are very well maintained and clean with all of the comforts of home plus more. We had a hot tub and personal sauna included in our chalet 😎. The property itself is beautifully kept and tidy, not a single piece of litter or garbage to be seen. Whether you are just looking to rest and relax or get out on a beautiful lake and have some fun, there's something for everyone. Come as a couple or with the family. Chalets Lac a la Truite is close to restaurants, grocery stores and other amenities so you don't even have to load up your vehicle trying to bring half of your house with you or waste time worrying about what you forgot. We really enjoyed our stay and wished would could have stayed an extra day but there's always next time now that I know there's an oasis called Chalets Lac a la Truite out there.

Everything from making the reservation to checking in was smooth. The cottage itself was ideally situated with a great view of the lake right in front. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted right down to grater and blender and salt and pepper. When we got lazy plenty of delicious restaurants just up the road, minutes away. The management was perfect, there when you needed them (to rent a boat) and on site but out of sight otherwise.. I could pretend, for a few glorious days, that this was really my cottage. Maybe that is why I keep coming back. Every season has something to offer.

We've been several times and love it there. We will definitely be going back. We stayed in a small cabin that had privacy and a picturesque view of snow covered trees from the hot tub on our balcony. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

We had a wonderful time at #83. The only thing i would suggest is that the the double bed is small and too soft for us. It is better to change a bigger bed either queen or king. That will be perfect. In summary we like this chalet very much. It is very private and comfortable. We like the convenience of sauna and jacuzzi very much.

Chalets are cozy and well equipped. Our chalet was noisy however for the fridge was loud. The location and view is beautiful. Lovely view of the lake.

I have traveled the world and have been to many resorts, but none compare to the understated elegance of Chalets Lac a la Truite. From the moment you arrive and are greeted at the Reception pavilion, the level of professionalism and passion for exemplary value added client service is obvious. Never have I seen a staff who speak so many different languages. Their knowledge of that part of the Laurentides is outstanding. From where to enjoy fine dining to where are the best "danseuses", you will be advised so as to maximize your enjoyment of the area. Very few resorts I have been to have been able to provide a 4 season experience. Somehow Chalets Lac a la Truite is able to accomplish this. There is something to be said about a family run resort. Keeping with a respect and tribute to the founder's dream and vision, the next generation has been schooled in the finest tradition of hoteliers. The attention to detail in almost every aspect of your stay is something rarely seen these days. You must experience Chalets Lac a la Truite.

Our room (#91) had a wood-burning fireplace in front on the king-sized bed, a sauna in the washroom, a hot tub in the main living area, and had a wonderful view of the lake. The place was very clean and well kept. The room was more than enough for two people. The staff was very polite, accommodating, and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend, and would come back in the future.

Absolutely beautiful and modern chalets that make you feel right at home. All the necessary amenities as mentioned in their website, and loved the activities available at the lake. High speed internet, whether you're upstairs, downstairs or on the balcony. Very well kept and clean, and the staff were very friendly and informative. I was skeptical at first, but it was the best decision I've made for a long weekend getaway.

Stayed there for 2 nights this past week and had such an awesome time! It's definitely not cheap at $1,000 (cad) for 2 nights, but well worth it in the end. Our host (owner) Diana was so welcoming, friendly, professional, and made us feel like part of her family right away.

The location is ideal, directly on "Lake of the trout", with a ton of amenities/activities to choose from. They have kayaks, "chaloupes", "pédalos", and paddle games. There's also an indoor pool and plenty of parking spaces.

The "chalet" we were in, Ezeras was beautiful and well equipped. The upstairs had two ensuite bedrooms, and downstairs we had the kitchen, dining room, as well as an extra full bathroom. We even had a private balcony from one of the bedrooms upstairs, as well as our own spa.

Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, especially for location and amenities. Diana truly cares for every guests coming thru her door, and she'll do all she can to make your stay as smooth as possible! Merci pour un super séjour! 😀

Execellent Stay! Staff was very polite and courteous. The chalet was clean with an amazing view. It was quite peaceful! With private sauna and whirlpool. Will definitely return!!

Lovely room, friendly service, nice town, everyone is so friendly, not to mention wifi was an added bonus. Additional services were so reasonable. Going back!

As a french national i really tried to live up to my kin and find something to complain about, but 3 of us were not able to find anything to complain about. Trust us, if french ppl cannot find anything to complain its as good as it can get. 10/10 would go again

The accommodations were very comfortable, the view of the lake was gorgeous and we weren't bothered by our neighbours at all. An excellent way to unwind and relax!

It was exactly as advertised and more! We stayed here with young children and we all had a wonderful time. The staff was accommodating and the amenities are perfect for a nice vacation!
