Metro Dufresne & Fils Val-David

This Metro is well stocked with a variety of fresh produce, meats, breads fresh out of the oven like a cheese loaf that lasted only two days accompanied by fresh creton which suffered the same fate. Parking available in the back next to the church which is open every second Saturday for the Winter market featuring local artisans.
So if you want to take a drive and experience Val David during the Christmas season you will not be disappointed.

Val-David was very interesting with a village atmosphere. I visited the ceramics exhibition which was beautiful! We had juice and a sweet to eat at the bakery "Emmanuel". Great outing.

When large grocery stores can be so far apart, this place is an oasis. A great selection at normal prices, the occasional pleasant surprise, and plenty of parking.

Sure, this is an area where there is a regular farmer's market. If that happens to be open when you need it and they have what you're looking for, great. That's not the same thing as a full service grocery store that's open every day. I go out of my way to buy at the market, or from other small and local suppliers, but I am still a regular here for everything else.

We live in Val David and are in this Metro all the time. Excellent choices and fresh produce! The employees are knowledgable, helpful and kind! Wonderful store!

Located in a beautiful small town outside of Montreal. This Metro had everything we needed.

Wonderful little shop! They always have everything and it’s always clean and welcoming.

When I was there it was very clean and organized. Great fresh fruit and vegetable options. Aisles were organized well and stuff was easy to find.

This supermarket is unique asit is wrapped in a work of art by a word famous artist Rene Derouin. The owner has done a great job at keeping his store in the center of a bespoke village.

Fish department is extraordinary, selection is so much better vs.Montreal. Serge from poissonnerie is helpful and knowledgeable, make sure ask him for guidance
