Being there makes you truly believe in Santa Claus !! The atmosphere smells Christmas Spirit . The staff is kind and attentive. The food shows how much they care about each one of us, clients. That's good in every detail, since taste , quality , to appearance . The smoked salmon is so buttery that melts in your mouth. Dont miss the bread of house, with ham or a fresh strawberry jam. And bring your camera to take beautiful pictures, especially close to the fireplace with real fire.

This was one of our destinations on this trip. We drove from Montreal to have this amazing breakfast experience. The quality of absolutely everything was top notch. The Saturday morning wait was no more than 20 minutes, with complementary coffee while you wait and it was amazing coffee. The OGRE plate was perfect, the ham is to die for. The bread and strawberry jam at the end tops off the plate. Take your time. Soak in the ambience and enjoy the Quebec sugar shack experience any time of year! Pickup some ham or beans for home later. We will continue to return, this is one of our favourite spots!

It was so much fun going to sugar shack with my staff on my birthday. I enjoyed the atmosphere and I bought almost everything at the souvenir shop hahaha they had to give me a box 📦. If you love everything maple 🍁 then you need to go to this place and enjoy their food and the frozen sap treats and the shop to keep local businesses alive. Very traditional Quebecois style so I totally recommend visiting this place for sure 👍🏻

A longstanding institution in the area and great food. Very popular for breakfasts with a terrific charming Quebec country feel. The service is friendly and efficient always and food always fresh and delicious. We always bring our guests here when they are visiting the area.

Can't say enough about this restaurant! Every time we're in Quebec, this is a must stop. The food is the real traditional Québécois fare and is delicious. The portions are huge, too. They don't skimp. And the Country style bread is the best toasted bread to have with their jam! Could have a meal on that alone. The service has always been excellent, as well. Always so fast, attentive and friendly. Never once had a server that didn't have a big smile to go along with breakfast! The atmosphere is as inviting as the food. It's has that warm rustic charm that we love and lingering by the fireplace with family after a great meal just tops off the whole experience. The small deli also sells jams, beets, baked beans, pies, etc. Basically what they serve you can also buy and take home. Suffice it to say, this is our favourite breakfast/brunch restaurant in Quebec! Highly recommend and look forward to our next visit!

Really enjoy Au Petit Poucet for breakfast. Was looking for something different than the usual spots in Montreal and decided to try this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. Everything was delicious from beginning to end! We both took the Ogre dish which came with eggs, sautéed potatoes, bacon, ham, beans with ham and pain ménage. Portions were generous and left the restaurant extremely satisfied!

This is an incredibly popular place and worth the wait for a table. We really enjoyed our delicious Quebecois meat pie and French onion soup. Super cozy and the service is quick.

The outside look of it is gorgeous as well as the interior, it is cozy, it is authentic, it is perfect.

You can enter only to buy some product like smoke ham, meat pie, chicken pie, maple products, etc.

But you can also dine in this beautifull place. The service was friendly, great and very quick. We ordered a mimosa, a bloody ceasar, the raclette entree and asperagus plus our 3 meals (croque-monsieur, club sandwich and ragoût de pattes de cochon et boulettes) and by the time we went to the bathroom it was all served. The taste of our meal was spot on, great use of spice, with this amazing warmth of homecook food.
You can bring the leftover home with you for a small cost for the compostable container. The breakfast are actually served all day long if you want. The price of your meal are very fair for what you get.

This place is worth the detour !
And it's adapted for disabled.

I will definitely go to that place again.

A foodies paradise . Canadian culture at its finest. hot delicious food . huge portions . Great restaurant family vibe. Cabin like setting . and free coffee while you wait for your table. the fruit ketchup is out of this world !

I loved it! The waitresses are kind and polite, the tables are clean, it smells good, the meal I just finished was delicious.

I'm in complete awe of this restaurant. So if you have the time to stop by and enjoy a good meal, get over here!!!

I had a perfectly awesome ham and cheese sandwich. It was so full, I actually shared it and it hit the spot. Went back a second time for the club sandwich and it was wonderful! Big enough to share! Great place with great service and yummy food.

Food was AMAZING! Their sausages are different to what I'm used to, but fantastic!
If you are looking to get a great breakfast, with a nice and chill cabin feel! This is absolutely the place to go to! Staff were great, and so helpful!!

Great ambiance. It felt like going to a sugar shack but with much better food. First time going to a Quebecois restaurant.

We had the omelette breakfast which came with maple smoked ham, les oreilles de crisse ( fried pork skin - actually quite tasty), really delicious ham and beans in a maple sauce, fried potatoes and toast. Note the omelette is more like a soufflé. Definitely recommend sharing if you are a light eater.

I was there in December and found this place via Google reviews. I was not disappointed at all and really got to know why everyone loved this place. First and foremost it is really affordable for the kind of food they serve and compared to other similar places. The food was absolutely delicious and so was the ambience. The staff was really patient to explain every question we had and even make suggestions. Definitely recommended.

Had a great breakfast here and the service and food was amazing! We got the pancakes with fruits and sausages meat and eggs breakfast. Everything was quick and the ambience was very comforting.

Absolutely amazing food! I cannot stress how good the food was here. Beautiful decor and the place was spotless inside and out. Super busy but the service was still quick. Staff was friendly. There is even a little store inside where you can buy some food items to take home.

Such a beautiful place, with amazing food and most important the staff, so friendly and inviting, today was my girlfriends birthday and they made it so special with a surprise cake and sang for her, so beautiful, really thank you all!!!
