Deri Italian Bakery

I had my sister’s wedding on Sunday. I ordered 150 pieces of those “dark almond cookies with almonds”. I ordered them 2 days before the wedding and they were able to accommodate my last minute request! I was happy to receive them very fresh. I had a lot of our guests come and ask where we got them from because in Libya we serve this type of sweet/dessert at our weddings and special occasions.

Pretty good place for some grab and go Italian food. The worker was nice and heated up my Italian rice ball. It was yummy and filled with cheese and meat.

Just discovered this great bakery. The owners were an absolute delight to meet. They have "nothing cookies" and "biscotti dei studenti" which brought back some nostalgic feelings. The bakery is super clean and prestine in its presentation. We're going to try the hot table soon! This is going to be our family bakery from now on!

This place has the BEST desserts and cakes that I ever had from any bakery. Very traditional Italian bakery with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The zeppoli are very delicious and moist, really fresh. Spoke to a guy named Sil and he said he just made them fresh. The whole family loved them, not to mention the ginger bread cookies they have as well that are a hit with my 4 yr old (they have many characters —and we bought 2 of them to have)The bread is made freshly every day and is very baked early in the morning and tastes delicious.

This place makes by far the best lasagna and eggplant parmigian. I'm so glad I discovered this gem. I ordered lasagna and eggplant parmigian for an office pot luck as I've had it before at my sister's house and my coworkers loved it. I'm so glad I grabbed businesses cards for my coworkers 😀. Home cooked deliciousness. Absolutely the best I've ever tasted. And they have fresh bread and pasteries too, pies, cakes it's worth going to. Look at the photos those lasagna's were literally devoured. So good!

I've been coming to this bakery store ever since I've lived in Mississauga, ie. almost 30 years. Homemade cookies and other pastries are very fresh and delicious. I love espresso made in the traditional way. The owners are very friendly.

The service is very good! The old baker came out to talk with us, and was very very nice. The bread was amazing!

They make the best best eggplant lasagne...omg...only wish budget would allow me to get more often...really is just delicious, you deserve best reviews ever...

The eggplant parmigiana is outstanding. The breads and pastries are great and popular. The only negative thing about this bakery is their prices have gotten really high throughout the years.

Love the breads here. You can also get some dough to make your own bread at home. They also have delicious sweets that change with the season!

I have been to this bakery multiple times. Their baked goods are always fresh and their hot meals are just so good.
