I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Vancouver Island Dental Specialists, particularly Candice who was absolutely AHHMAZING during my follow-up to dental surgery. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a team of professionals who were not only kind and friendly but also exceptionally skilled in their field. The care and attention I received made me feel truly cared for throughout my visit. I highly recommend Vancouver Island Dental Specialists to anyone seeking top-notch dental care.

Dr. Sonia Leziy examined all of my teeth very carefully and super professionally, then clearly pointed out all of their issues and came up with the most critical ones which also what I thought. She then planned out all the treatments for me to have healthy, good looking teeth starting by the most reasonably necessary one. Precisely but gently and no pressure, she answered all of my concerns. The clinic is very clean, equipped with advanced technology and the staff was so friendly and supportive. It was such an amazing experience.

A State of the art & clean facility. I find Dr. Sonia Leziy to be very good at putting you at ease with her knowledge as she explains your unique situation for visiting her office & any procedures to be performed in a manner to be understood & welcomes any questions or concerns you may have. Very patient & her staff have always been very kind & professional. I had lower gum surgery & was very pleased with the before during & aftercare. I have recommended 2 friends whom also had gum surgery & feel the same about VIDS

I cannot say enough good things about VI Dental Specialists. I had two procedures there over an almost 2 year time span. The staff are pleasant and efficient. The office is immaculate with ultra modern equipment. Dr. Leziy is simply wonderful. Her great skill and expertise is a given. Her warmth and caring is something else. The way she explained the problem and the implant process to fix it by drawing a diagram on her device was impeccable and gave me great confidence. I was surprised and delighted to get a call from her the evening after the initial extraction to see how I was doing. This continued along different steps of the process. She noticed a bit of sun damage on my nose. She said I should have it looked at, which I did. It is not malignant, but it could have been. Who actually likes going to the dentist? I really did. It was always fun to see her. I have never felt better taken care of by a health care provider.

My experiences with this clinic have been very positive. Clear communication for efficient intake. Dr.Hart and team have a calm, professional, and compassionate manner. I'm looking forward to following through with the detailed treatment plan that was suggested.

I find it hard to express how wonderful my treatment with Vancouver Island dental Specialists. Special shout out to Iain Hart, I think he was amazing! You know they have the right people to help, when you are not nervous about the treatment and are very comfortable while they do their work. I highly recommend this business to anyone that is requiring special dental attention- I had a gingival graft for my lower teeth.

This was my first visit to Vancouver Island Dental Specialists for an initial consultation. The staff were all wonderful, and the office was beautiful and bright. Dr. Hart was fantastic at explaining the procedure, and I was happy to have received a quote right away. Also, they conveniently open at 7am, so I didn’t have to miss too much work time. 😊

Absolutely amazing! ! The office feels like a spa and Dr. Sonia and her assistant were not only professional but caring and gentle. I had been to a different periodontist in Nanaimo and had a horrible experience, so I was referred to VI Dental Specialists. . This experience was like night and day! They deserve 10 stars! I was so impressed by the professional, courteous, helpful & kind interactions with all of the staff at VIDental. They work together seamlessly as a team, in a state of the art facility. Dr. Nault's initial consultation was thorough & informative. His discussion of the treatment options, using specialized software, was detailed & clear. He answered all my questions & sent me a summary of what had been discussed. His follow-up after the first surgery lead to a second surgery - at no additional charge- to ensure the repair completely met his expected outcomes. I am very happy with the result, grateful for his professional skills and appreciative of his friendly thoughtful manner.

I just had my gum graft procedure done a couple of days ago with Dr. Sonia Leziy. I was terrified of having it done and had been putting it off for years, but Dr. Leziy, Vicky, and the wonderful team at VI Dental Specialists made me feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process.
From the first consultation, Dr. Leziy explained everything very clearly and shared her notes with me so that I could understand my options, the procedure and how to I could plan for it as well as what to expect for in terms of pain management and recovery. I find Dr. Leizy to be extremely gentle and respectful of working in such a sensitive area. She beams of kindness and confidence and I am certain that I was in the best hands for this procedure. I felt completely safe and well taken care of and everything ended up going very well, including my recovery so far. I am beyond grateful for the entire time including the kind receptionists at the clinic and would recommend them without hesitation. It is such a relief to know that my gums and teeth will be healthier from having this work done. They deserve 10/5 stars or more!

A great appointment experience as I was informed by Matthieu Nault that he was seeing significant improvements because of the great work done by the hygienist (Krista).
Overall I had a very good experience at Vancouver Island Dental that I have certainly share with many others.

Dr. Hart and his assistant did a fabulous job pulling an infected tooth, a result of a root canal that went sideways from another dentist’s work.
I experienced no pain, no swelling, no bruising.

Everything about the VI Dental Specialists is exceptional; from being greeted at the front desk, to being escorted to the consultation or surgery, to the surgery and post-surgery follow-up. Dr. Leziy is wonderfully consultative, taking the time to explain the particular issue, whether there are alternatives, the surgery itself, and what to expect immediately following surgery, as well as in the weeks to follow.

The dental assistants, and all of the staff are calming, positive, and helpful. They provided excellent explanations of post-surgery care routines, and answered questions knowledgeably and with confidence. I feel extremely fortunate at having been referred to this team of professionals and would go out of my way to attend VI Dental Specialists again if I required dental work.
