Osborne Bay Pub

Nice spot for lunch and a short walk to the waterfront after. Plenty of free parking in the area. I had the Cod Burger and Seafood Chowder... both were excellent. The chowder came with 3 shrimp and three muscles in it which set the dish off visually. I love their chowder.
I suggest sitting on the outdoor patio as the inner pub, like most pubs, smells thick of fryer oil in the air. Good service and overall a good experience.

Great spot with kind bar staff and cold beer. Definitely a fun spot to stop in a small town and hang out on the patio staring into the yonder. Very good food deals and daily specials. Live music in a small town cannot be beat (stage inside).

If you ever get over to Crofton BC, I highly recommend you check out the OSBORNE BAY PUB. It is amazing & worth way more than 5 ☆'s. The food is delicious, but what really makes it for me is the staff.

I'm from the mainland, but my family, Bev,Vern & and Lee, are weekly guests. They always sit in Liz's section. She knows them by name and their food & beverage order to a T. Liz is patient with my uncle, who sometimes requires a minute to confirm.
Bravo, it is really nice to know their are people who care. This gives me the warm & and fuzzies. I bet we aren't the only family she remembers orders for.

On this visit, I went with my daughter (who also said Liz is a godess) and friend. This was a busy spot on Jazz Sunday. It's Fantasic Entertainment by talented performers. Get there well before 130pm if you want to get the best seat. We had the seafood chowder, pictured below. We loved it ❤

I'm grateful the Osborne Bay Pub has Liz, and my family has a wonderful place to go that feels like home.

AMAZING SHRIMP! And gluten-free 😁! Lovely staff. Service times are super reasonable. Lots seating options. I will be back!

Ate twice here during my week long stay in Crofton on my journey across Canada (@aloneacrosscanada on instagram). Had the cod burger and fries the first night and the cod bites and fried with a side caesar salad. Food was incredible for the price and the service was top notch 😉

Likely would have ate here a third time but unfortunately they are closed Monday and Tuesday 😞

We were so pleasantly surprised by the Osborne Bay Pub! Dog friendly patio, super friendly and accommodating staff, and stellar food. Great place to visit on your way to or from the Salt Spring Island ferry.

Sunday 17 March 2024. Soup of the day was a killer. Cream of Chicken Florentine. This had everything: colour, form, texture, and FLAVOUR. Keep it up folks.

Never been to Crofton, but I'd searched up an eatery where I could bring the dog (60lb Saarloos). I discovered Osborne Bay Pub from Google, and wanted to give it a try. Went on a Sunday with a party of 4 plus one dog. Has great parking, nice patio where we could sit, and they'd very kindly provided a small bucket of water for the dog. Was happy to see there were a few other dogs there as well. Our service was nice and prompt, drinks arrived not too long after, and questions were answered confidently. We arrived during happy hour, where I chose the popcorn shrimp and fries. Was really good (shrimp tasted fresh, came with its own cocktail-style sauce), I was happy with the portions, and the drinks were good also. I would recommend trying this place in Crofton, it's a decently-sized pub as well.

Great place to try: quaint town, lovely water view, definitely a location to relax and unwind, especially if you want to avoid the city.

Love it here. Great food, great service, feels like family.

Good food, great service... and since no indoor dinning right now they even offer a cuddly blanket if needed on the patio.

The food was great! There was a fairly large group of us and everyone enjoyed their meal choice. I tried the mussles and chowder and was delighted. We would definitely go back. The patio is also dog friendly!

Great patio. Servers are very attentive. Prices are pretty good but some items are a bit pricey. Overall we like to come here, especially for happy hour.

Great tasting food with good sized portions and great service. I was actually shocked a bit by how much food there was. I had pop corn shrimp and fries and I could barely see the fries there was so much shrimp, and at happy hour it's a deal you can't beat. Servers are friendly and service was very good. Nice ocean and mountain view (we sat on the patio) and the patio was dog friendly with water available for the dogs to have a drink, happy hour offers some great deals. Will definitely be going back regularly!

Very good food (I highly recommend the chicken burger) I suggest using a knife and fork with it🙂 The service was great, even with it being busy. The atmosphere was FUN! My son and I caught the first set of Brandon Isaak, a fabulous musician! We look forward to returning to the Osborne Bay Pub.

Excellent service. Same young lady as last year at Christmas. Best service in a very long time. Give her a payrise! Well done! Sat at table we asked for. Cosy and warm and wonderful view of sea. Welcome choice of vegan food - tho perhaps the gnocchi is better without the sprouts :)

So you don’t feel like cooking, you want a night out and you are hoping for a good, no an amazing meal. Look no further than the OB Pub. Folks are like family, the food incredible, awesome selection of tap beer. The specials especially Sunday night Ribs, best Fish and Chips ever ( real chips). Highly Recommend, very fair pricing to boot.

Everything we ordered last night was splendid. The customer service was super friendly and kept checking up on us. More on the pricey side but definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
