Awesome grocers has in recent years acquired the neighbouring pharmacy thereby offering full service for needs. Friendly staff. Great selection. Receipt boxes for customers to support their local group/club and annually counted for donation to same.

Great selection, so much variety! They had everything we needed. The fresh salsa and Peruvian green sauce are a must!

The employees are very helpful, friendly, fun and commonsensical. The prices are expensive, but it is not the fault of the awesome staff. I enjoy this store!

If you don't like the crowds, don't go here on Super Tuesday! Super Tuesday is 10% off everything! EVERYTHING! It's great, but busy! We arrived on a Tuesday and forgot about this so we got caught up in the hustle.

Best grocery store on the island. It's shopable and their cafe is great! Compared to some of the competitors this is the best. I just miss the bowling alley across the street.

Don't sleep on their bakery. If you're not getting the Nanaimo bars you're just losing money!

The check out clerks and very friendly...sometimes too friendly...Just the other day I was chatting with my husband and the clerk made an odd comment and in our A / B conversation, he did NOT C his way out it.

It was all in good fun though, we do truly love this place, and don't forget to hit the dispensary next door! That place is magical!

Best little grocery store I’ve ever shopped at. Living on the island for two years, I was very pleased with the selection, the quality, and service. I found they had most everything I needed. And it was organized well.
There’s also a pharmacy and little gifty things. Not to mention the availability of organic and natural ingredients/products.
I miss this place! You learn a lot about a community by visiting their grocery store. 🫶

Excellent selection of goods at reasonable prices! There are a lot of things I don't see in other stores, even compared to stores from the Lower Mainland. Great service to boot. It's definitely one of my favourite grocery stores :)

The place to buy groceries on Salt Spring Island! They have everything you could possibly need, having catered a wedding on the island, this was our go to grocery store.

Stuck on Saltspring for a few more hours feeling really sick. Staff in the deli were great. Set up a table for us, Got us what we needed, and we're very caring and polite.

This is a great store for those who like small town / islands. A lot of people have moved to the island though, which ruins the small, community experience. The store is great though! The employees all are happy, personable and make you want to return.

We do most of our shopping here. The prices are competitive, the store is clean and well stocked, the staff is friendly and helpful. You can get almost everything here that you would find at the bigger stores on Vancouver Island for close to the same prices. We like to shop local and support the local economy.

Such a great grocery store. Sale prices are great. Excellent staff. Deli, bakery is awesome. Plus they now have the drugstore. I know, boring review, sometimes boring is OK.

Good selection. Friendly staff.10 percent Tuesdays are a great time to get good buys. It is a good idea to arrive early on Tuesday because even though large in store sales tend to be reduced on Tuesdays individually priced sale items remain so the initial reduction is increased by 10 percent. The in store restaurant is connected to the deli letting you access the full range of store. products to enjoy in the restaurant.

Best spot to grocery shop on the island, with a pharmacy built in, and a liquor store next door! Tons of parking and a great selection of food. Clean and bright with friendly staff.
