Pretty good variety of food for a cafe, fair price,food was good, large variety of drinks,comfortable,spacious,good service,and plenty of games and puzzles to pick from. Would definitely recommend it if your interested.

The layout is fabulous. Love how they used the game shelves for a little bit of privacy but it still is so inviting.

One of my favourite places to hang with friends. Amazing atmosphere, amazing staff, amazing food. So much selection for board games but you don't have to play them if you just want to enjoy the food and drinks (that includes boba). Staff are super helpful and always armed with boardgame recommendations or help interpreting rules. They're also very inclusive. Highly highly recommend.

This is by far my favorite place in Grande Prairie. There shouldn't be another coffee shop in your heart because this place will fill that void, and then some. You walk in and are invited into a beautiful downtown shop, locally owned and filled with love. The staff are always outgoing and passionate, the food is delicious (albeit their machinery goes on the fritz now and then :)) , and all the while you enjoy an endless amount of fun playing boardgames!!!! Just, stop reading this review and go!

Good place to hang out with friends and family. One of a kind coffee shop in town with reasonable prices. Good ambiance and staff are welcoming.

My favourite evening place to socialize! For only $5 you can play as many card or board games as you like all evening long. The food is delicious, seats are comfy, it's family friendly, and sometimes they even host special events.

My sister and I attended their "Halloween night." The ceiling was liberally strewn with cobwebs and all the staff was dressed up! The lady in charge was the Queen of Hearts!
Since it was a full house, we sat at different people's tables, made friends, and tried new games. Had dinner there too--I got the "all dill platter" which included deep-fried pickles. We even played a group game called "werewolf" which is like mafia. The wolves won.

Also, we won second prize in the couples costume contest!

This is one of our favorite establishments. Great food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our family always has a wonderful time. The worst part of our visits is choosing a game to play! So many to choose from :) Really enjoy the many themed game nights. Highly recommend 👌

This was my first time here and I had a blast! The staff were amazing (even when I spilled my drink on a game oops). Love that they're inclusive. Made me happy to see period products in the washroom. I will be back for sure.

Great place. 1200 games here all playable for 5 bucks. The London fog tea is one of the best I have had.

Card's Board Game Café has to be one of my favourite businesses in GP. They are reasonably priced and have great food and drinks.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and will guide you through finding a game to play (they have tons of options). They will also teach you how to play it if you'd like.

My favourite thing about Card's has to be its environment. It's a safe space that welcomes absolutely everyone. This also makes it a great way to meet all kinds of new people - especially if you're new to town.

Fantastic friendly service. Enough attention from staff to have help when we needed it, but also to enjoy our games to the fullest without interruption. Super yummy food, delivered promptly, with kindness and care. Excellent selection of games, super fun to play. I would have enjoyed just existing in the space with or without games! A great place for family and friends of all ages, warm and welcoming. Will definitely go again, even when we have to road trip all the way from Dawson Creek.

I frequently go to Card's to relax, build a puzzle, and have a London Fog. They have a variety of every style of game from deeply involved or just a quick pick up and play.
I recommend the French Vanilla Bubble Tea

A local gem! The staff are always quite friendly and knowledgeable of the game selection. They have a decent selection of craft beer and snacks reasonably priced. Yes, just two people can have fun here!! There are a combo of more cozy spots for games and then the classic wooden chair at the kitchen table set up, which for some, may remind you of playing board games at the grandparents place. Either way, if you're in GP and have a couple hours to burn, or want to throw it back on a fun date night, check this place out!

Spent a good 3hrs at Cards Cafe where the games were endless and the food was good. Will definitely go back again

Cards is great. They have decent food and a good choice of drinks. I especially like that there is a binder with a list of the board games with detailed descriptions.

What a great experience! Staff are amazing here, THE BEST customer service I've had, made me forget I was even in Grande Prairie. .. My date for the night was less than stellar but staff did not make me feel awkward or embarrassed about it. I bought a membership and this will be my new escape, so many good eats, more games than you could shake a stick at, as well they have tabletop rollplay nights which I have been dieing to get back into, can't wait to try!

I've been wanting to check this place out since I arrived in GP and am so happy that I did.
