Verace Italian Restaurant

Verace is one of my all time favourite Italian restaurants. Every single thing on the menu is absolutely perfect and delicious (especially the Bruschetta which is the best I’ve ever had). Restaurant interior is sleek and clean. Service is quick, kind and impeccable. Highly recommend for business or pleasure.

We had a wonderful experience hosting a birthday party here! Michele was very easy to work with and Igor and Mavis provided excellent service!! The private room is beautiful. Dinner was fantastic and very generous. All of the guests were very happy and impressed! Thank you so much.

An unforgettable experience with impeccable service and gorgeous dishes only exception being lackluster desserts.Calamari Fritti is our family favourite and this simple dish was elevated to gourmet experience by Versace.. the produce was fresh and the dish perfectly cooked. Grilled octopus dish with assorted vegetables was another hit. We tried their Fungi pizza as recommended by our wonderful server Jenn and it turned out to be rather good, the chewy texture combined with garlicky undertones and gooey cheese and roasted wild mushrooms created a storm of umami flavours. For desserts we ordered Crème brûlée and Belgian flourless cake along with some amazing coffee . Those were the only two orders that left us wanting for more, both being rather average for a place that is serving such a great fare. Otherwise the Food is a perfect 5. There also need to add to add some mocktails on the menu . We plan to visit this place again to try loads of other offerings on the menu!!

This is one great place to dine. The food was amazing, one of the best Muscles I’ve had, the pizzas were Authentic Italian style. Pricing was reasonable for the quality of the food. The one thing I liked the most is the service, our waiter (PJ) was absolutely great, received us with a smile, kept our table clean between courses. I had to keep an eye on other waiters serving other tables, and it was not just (PJ), all we’re doing the same thing. I will for sure go visit this awesome Italian Restaurant again very soon. Highly recommended

Wow what a wonderful experience!!! I adore this side of Oakville. The breeze from the lake is prominent while you walk to the restaurant. Finding parking is easy after 6 in the area. If not it’s paid. The name of the restaurant is an Italian word that is typically used to describe fresh seafood. A rightful name as the menu is chock full of seafood items. Even though we didn’t indulge in any seafood the food was incredible. Firstly, the focaccia which was really delicious. Perfectly baked and seasoned with rosemary and flakey salt. To die for. A risotto is hard enough to get right but on a busy Saturday night no less, it was perfect. Decadent, flavourful, creamy and the rice was not too hard nor too soft. I usually hate truffle oil however the truffle smell that came over from the mushroom ravioli was actually really nice. The mushroom ravioli is now a favourite on the menu for us. Pure indulgence. Every single person on the staff are all so eloquent, polite and most of all efficient. I truly felt as though every single one of them felt honoured and proud to serve me and to go above and beyond. Additionally, the food came so quickly it was as though we were at a fast food restaurant—it was so impressive. The wine selection is refined and varied and the drinks were ice cold which was a nice touch. The experience was 100/10. We will definitely be back!

This is a great Authentic Italian Restaurant. All is made from scratch. Awesome food drinks and very nice waitresses. Restaurant is very clean. They also have a patio if you want to eat and have a drink outside on a sunny hot day. A must go.

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful experience dinning at Verace last night for my mothers birthday. Our server was absolutely exceptional and the food was impeccable! We absolutely loved our evening and will definitely be back!

Amazing place. The food was so good, kids loved the pasta, and the fried calamari. Service was great, nice atmosphere and great music. Will definitely return.

We loved it! We had a special event in their private dining room and everything was beautiful. Service and food were impeccable. The wait staff were so attentive and fun to be around. The manager was accommodating and very easy to deal with. He made it so easy for us. We can't wait to go back for dinner.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. Authentic Italian pasta, cuisine and pizza. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Our waitress Maria, gave some fantastic suggestions on a pasta to try and pizza. The pasta was so delicious and flavourful, the sauce was incredible. The pizza was so amazing as well, nothing like authentic Italian pizza which is apparently certified as authentic. We also shared a Tiramisu for desert, was so mouth watering, best I have ever had, served with diced strawberries and blueberries on top. My girlfriend and I shared both entrees and she had a glass of wine. We spent 110$ including tip. They also served a bread with garlic, rosemary and sea salt, it was delicious. Cant say enough great things about our experience. Make a reservation as this place is extremely well known and busy. We used the OpenTable app and made a reservation while outside the restaurant, it worked perfectly and we walked right in and sat down immediately. Thank you Verace for an incredible meal and hospitality.

Lovely place and amazing food. The arancini, salads, pizzas and pastas we ordered were all delicious. The calamari was melt in the mouth. Definitely recommend this place if you want good Italian fare. My mom, who usually picks at her food, ate with gusto because everything was so tasty. It was a delight to see. Thanks to Tamara for the great service and looking after us.

If I could give more stars I would!
We recently had an engagement party with 34 people in their private venue. The planning was seamless with the help of Michele and Igor. The event staff especially Mavis and Igor were amazing. Their attention to detail, communication and customer service were unmatched. They went above and beyond our expectations. The food, service and overall atmosphere were more than we could have imagined.

It’s really incredible restaurant with delicious italian food and such an amazing service! Thanks for your hospitality!

Last weekend we stopped by Verace. We sat at their patio.
The service was fast and our server was friendly, ready to discuss with us the menu and more.
We both order pasta. I ordered pasta with sea food with tomato sauce.
We were served oil, balsamic vinegar and bread.
The balsamic vinegar was thick like honey... it taste great.
We also tried the ricotta desert which was great texture and great taste.
Highly recommend this place.

This place was great! We were here last night and had their squid ink pasta, pear pizza, and tartufo. Everything was just lovely!

Between the two mains, I definitely liked the pear pizza a bit more as the flavours were a little more delegate with an incredibly yummy balance between sweet (pears, honey) and savoury (blue cheese). 🍐🍯🧀

The squid ink pasta was also unique but had a stronger garlic taste to it. 🐙🍝

Dessert was yum! We appreciated the contrast between the dark chocolate and berries and mint leaves! 🍨

The restaurant itself is well kept and has a lovely ambiance!

We have busted this place on my wife’s birthday. Amazing food and hospitality. We reached few minutes earlier than our reservation and was accommodated easily.

I hosted my daughters baptism in the Verace Venue and everything was perfect. The guests loved the food, atmosphere was lovely and friendly staff. The Manager Michele was a gem to work with. He catered to all our needs and was always quick to respond to all our questions leading up to the event. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed it. The food was amazing and the interior is very chic. We weren’t rushed we had a very long meal started with apps, then pizza and then our mains and they never brought anything out before asking if we were ready. Truly European dining loved it!
