George Lane Memorial Park and Campground

A lovely well kept park and another place to see on the Heartland TV series locations that are around High River. The bandstand was used in an episode for a wedding celebration.

What a wonderful day...1st time going to High Rivers car show.. absolutely perfect. High River is a beautiful little city.

Spent a great weekend at this beautiful, quiet campground! Fantastically treed sites (some more shade than others) and immaculate bathhouses with FREE showers. Everything in downtown High River is a short walk away, and we enjoyed the feeling of being outside Calgary but still within a 1hr drive from home. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Lots and lots of trees throughout this park/campground. There are many picnic tables, camp sites, a baseball diamond, in-ground fire pits and the river is nearby. It's a great place for families and events. Highly recommend it.

Was there for the High River Car show. A very nice park with good tree cover and large open spaces. Access to local shopping and amenities is easy and straightforward. An excellent park space. Worth a stop and walk through the spaces.

Staff are so friendly and welcoming. The campground is spotless and our back in site #19 was a generous size. There are some pull through sites too. Will definely return.

I maybe a little bias, being that High River is my home town, however this truly is a Gorgeous park, and my Favorite campground, it backs up to the Highwood River, so if you like to fall asleep to the sound of a river flowing by, your gonna love it, and if fishing is something you enjoy, you'll enjoy that too, swim, tube, or fish, you have it all, or if going for a walk is what you'd prefer, there's that as well, Beautiful park, excellent camp sites, you'd never know you were camping in a town campground, plus all the amenities the town has to offer, you could possibly need or want..
You won't be disappointed, and you'll be planning on your next camping trip back at the park 👍

Very clean and nicely treed spots. Quite a bit of space between sites so you don't feel like sardines. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. 15/30 amp sites, potable water spigots, free showers, $35/night. Right in town and walkway access to alot of amenities.

Always enjoy my time here. The restrooms are clean and the showers are free. The river is a stone's throw away, it's very nice.

We enjoyed our stay here. Lots of nice places to walk. Nice park area for the kids to play in. 15/30 amp service, no direct water hook up but they have a water station to fill your tanks. No charge for dumping waste water. They have tent spots as well. Washrooms with free showers and a dish washing station (great for tenters).

Clean, quiet and very reasonably priced. We paid approx $75 for 3 adults, 1 child, 1 dog in a small drive away rv for 2 nights. Friendly staff.

Yes, they have lots of trees but they have those "sappy" things which stuck to the fur on my dogs paws.

Nice short drive from Calgary for a get away. We will be back!

Needed a place to camp near Calgary and this worked really well. Staff very friendly and most helpful to our needs. Place is very clean and showers and internet included in the price.

This space has something for everyone. A big playground for kids of all ages, lots of room to run, picnic benches to have lunch, washrooms with sinks.

Top notch in-town park. Just be aware if you plan more than a few days that portable tote tanks are not allowed. You will need to move your RV to the dump station.

Quiet and relaxing. Clean camp ground. Continously
patrol by attendants and RCMP. No partyers a allowed!!! Close to everything you need.

Great summer series of concerts every year, pleasure to get to play in the gazebo stage! Lots of shade, lots of green space, clean public washrooms!
