Canadian Tire

During Alberta's recent plunge into the deep freeze of winter (sub -39 Celsius) my son's car ended up at High River's Canadian Tire Service department, unable to start. Service Manager Scott and his team worked diligently to diagnose the issue, amidst their craziest time of the winter. I appreciate their efforts and honesty. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff helped me mix paint and shared some light banter with Me. And on a night where we once a month visit highriver for snow removal and garage painting with Albert's coatoms services Ltd. Great company to work for.

Our tire was leaking, came in at closing and the auto department helped us as best they could. Definitely a good experience in a stressful situation.

I have been to alot of Canadian Tire stores across this country, and this one gives that small town respect towards customers service.

This August my daughter had car trouble on Highway 2 partway through a 7 hour drive. This was the first time she had driven that far on her own so she called us for support. We sent her to Canadian Tire as it sounded like a minor issue and hoped they could quickly help her. They exceeded our expectations; got her in quickly provided a temporary repair to get her home and because it was so minor they didn’t charge her. Thank you to the staff who were working on August 8.

My rig broke down on the way to Glacier! I was driving solo in my sprinter. They allowed me to rest my rig in their parking lot while staff went the extra mile to help me get repaired and back on the road in record time. A part ( alternator) was expedited from Edmonton. Staff were kind and were locals, they gave me suggestions of where to get food and basically rest and explore their darling town while we waited for a part on my bike. Truly felt blessed to break down so close to this establishment. Prices were fare and their mechanics worked fast to get me on the road. I was simply amazed how comprehensive the quality of service was. This was years ago and just now remembering— I didn’t say, “Thank you!”

Lots of nice plants in their garden centre.
The garden centers in Canadian tire have been getting better over the past few years.
Plants are bigger and stronger, so you have a better chance of them surviving.
Also, a lot more satisfying to see mature plants in your garden, than having to wait a few years to have them grow.😁

I received friendly, outstanding assistance from two young men at the Canadian Tire Store in High River, AB in the past week.

Braxton helped me, inside the store, to find items on two different days. Ryan H loaded 5 bags of soil — each weighing about 50 pounds — into the trunk of my car— 10 bags total, on two separate visits.

Kudos to each — I hope you honour each boy with an “Employee of the Week/Month “ award

It’s a beautiful Sunday in High River watching my son play a Lacrosse tournament and my Dodge started making some noises in under the hood. Brought it into see Scott and wow, amazing service! He fixed it up for me in a couple hours while still managing the service desk and working with other customers. On my way back to Cranbrook BC thanks to Scott. The day could have gone very differently! Big shout out to Canadian Tire High River!!!!

We visited near closing on a late evening looking for a specific radiant oil heater. A staff member was extremely helpful and a pleasure to speak with. I would happily share her name but she must have taken her name tag off as it was pretty much closing time. Thanks again

Stopped in to sort out a tire issue and Scott at service was amazing! He helped my wife and I out and was able to get the tire issue dealt with on the spot. I’ll always come back given the super service I received today.

Tristan and technician Jimmy provided excellent service and went above and beyond to help me. We were travelling from Calgary to Cranbrook on Saturday afternoon. We had hit a pothole and a noise appeared. It sounded like something was rubbing against the drive shift. At 3 pm in the afternoon CanadianTire was the only option. When we called Tristen said they were busy but to stop by and they would see what they could do. When we arrived he was able to have his technician Jimmy take a look. He did some trouble shooting and between dealing with other customers he discovered the issue and was able to easily fix the issue. About an hour after we arrived we were back on the road. Their friendliness and willingness to assist are greatly appreciated and I would recommend them. Thanks again for your efforts andI hope the owners recognize them for their excellent customer service.

Automotive Dept is amazing at this location. Optimal Service and great staff. Emerson, Ryan, and Scott are top drawer!
Got an oil change, new brake pads on my front tires, tune-up, and I couldn't be more happier.
My baby is running like a charm and I feel like driving it all day I am so pleased. Ready for a road trip!!!

Since Scott has taken over this location, it is a whole different ball game. The climate is warm and friendly, and automotive service nothing short of exceptional!
Scott truly takes care of each customer with his authentic nature and willingness to go the extra mile. Can't say enough about this man!!

I came to buy my first bicycle and this staff member Curtis was so patient and helped me too choose one and I was picky and wanted it in a certain color and it turns out the color I wanted was already on the way to the store, I just had to wait a few days and in the mean time Curtis kept in communication with me on the time of arrival and even stayed after his shift to put it together for me the same day. He also helped me pick out a bike lock and adjusted the seat for me. Over all I am VERY VERY impressed. What a star employee and overall great customer service. Thanks again for everything :)

we had an issue with our truck and it was closing time on a sunday. The manager Scott took the time to help trouble shoot our truck and make sure we were okay to continue on our trip. Very pleased with the exceptional service and his own time to help us. 5 star plus rating for him. thank you Scott

I do not usually write emails like this, but given the social climate in the world today I wanted to share my experiance with you.

Today, my wife and I were patrons at your store and I can only say, Wow i am impressed. The 4 staff members that we interacted with in store were amazing, from the gentlemen at the door to the 2 very knowledgeable team members who directed us exactly which isles the products we were looking for were and answering a question around CT money and using the triangle credit cards. When it was time to check out the cashier was very polite, patient and even took time to compliment my daughter on her glasses even though there was other people in line we did not feel rushed out of the store. Overall the staff seemed very happy, and welcoming to questions and offering answers, which is so refreshing at this point in society

I wish I got all the employees names to give them a shout out, but given that 4 out of 4 customer touch points turned out this positive, I would wager that the entire staff is all the same
