"Bikes on Wheels" offers a welcoming atmosphere that keeps me coming back driving all the way from Waterloo. The friendly staff, led by Sean, meticulously built my second gravel bike, a unique Rondo RUUT AL 2. They patiently waited while I took the time deciding which bike to get and did not feel pressured at any time. Their selection of uncommon bikes adds to the appeal—I started with a Fuji Feather CX+, which was an absolute dream of a bike to ride. I enjoy riding bikes not commonly seen on the road. When it's time to replace my road bike, I'll certainly return to this shop. The personalized service and distinct bike options make it worth the drive.

I keep finding weird mods to my bike
Such as modifying a Hub or brake upsize for a gravel bike.
Service is always great and they help out like you are family.

So many time I had last minute issue and they always provided the services immediately.

Harrison and Jordan are awesome. Literally come from new market just to see them.

I was actually really surprised with all the bad reviews. I bought a bike on sale this week was in the shop 3 days in a row. The same salesperson, Liam was super helpful and patient with me. Other customers came in and he had no problems multi tasking.

In defence of the other reviews, I went into the Queen West location 3 years ago to buy a lock and it was full of rude, pretentious hipsters. It seems like BoW are actively trying to fix the problem with less-toxic employees and my amazing experience this week should be proof of that.

One thing I've learned during the pandemic is patience; that not all things can be done immediately. Global material shortages and supply chain disruptions meant that I couldn't buy a new bike in 2021 so I dug up my old 2012 Cinelli Vigorelli frame and decided to build it up to use this year. I had all the components I needed save wheels and tires.

I contacted BOW and they miraculously had the wheelset and tires I was looking for. I was told that I could bring my frame in and they would install everything while I waited. I thought this was incredible considering with any type of retail (especially transportation or exercise related) usually meant coming back another day to pick up one's purchases.

The staff at BOW were not only helpful and efficient but followed the necessary COVID protocols to keep customers and staff safe. Well done!

These boys have saved me on more than one occasion. Professional and easy to deal with. Cheaper than usual parts and labor. So far whatever they've put on on my downhill e-bike has not fallen off. I strongly recommend this shop, it definitely pays off in the long run. Thank you guys, appreciate your help.

Lou is a great technician. I know his name because I have been going to Bikes on Wheels forever. They are super busy in the summer, and I appreciate their kindness when you've got an unexpected flat. Love their shops. By the way, the pricing of their UBAN locks are not bad.

amazing experience and service. I recently bought a new pair of tyres but it was too hard to put it on the wheels on my road bike as the rims are such a tight fit to do it on my own, the mechanic was very patient and friendly and after several tries eventually the tyres are finally seated properly and i am very satisfied with the result and the charges are reasonable too. definitely recommend this store to anyone.

I was looking for a hybrid bike for a while and found Bikes On Wheels just by chance browsing through Kensington Market.
Great find as they have plenty of stock, friendly knowledgeable staff, and a full service shop. Happy to support local business.
BOW also sells Fuji bikes which made the overall purchase decision easy.. I still have my original Fuji road bike from, well.. let's just say it's vintage now, lol... Highly recommend this shop !

One of the better bike shops jn the city. Harrison helped me figure out an odd brake problem and was extremely helpful throught the process. Would recommend this store for all your bike related needs.

Most of the stores have really nice stuff in them, but when you're buying things and getting things fixed, it's good to know the crew aren't clerks, they're riders too. My GT runs perfectly now, thanks a million for the assistance Jack and Blair, and Harrison for figuring out my recurring flat tire problem. My bike would be in the storage room if it weren't for you guys.

Not a huge selection of bikes, but everything that they have online is what they have in store which is nice. You know what they have before you go in. I got a mountain bike from these guys and was pretty happy with the service. They set up the bike to suit me and sent me off.

Great experience buying a bike here. Super friendly staff, they take the time to explain everything you need to know about their products, and you get 2 free tune ups. The bike mechanics were listening to metal on the day I went which I always appreciate, rock on guys!

Purchased the Masi Uno Riser full build bike from BOW. Over a month in and absolutely no issues whatsoever. I wanted to wait to make this review until I rode the bike to its absolute limits, especially during inclement weather. That being said, the Riser is one of the smoothest fixed gear bikes I have ridden. The team at BOW did a great job assembling this - even swapping out pedals and straps for me.

Special shoutout to Jack, the cashier who expertly handled my incessant and annoying line of questioning. Another special shoutout to Evan, the mechanic, who swapped out my pedals & straps without hesitating.

A great experience all around. I paid a fraction of what other bike shops were going to charge me for a very simple fix. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. And lastly their shop always appears well stocked with quality products. Will be returning again for all my bike/cycling needs. Thanks Bikes on Wheels, I just found my new local bike shop! 👍

Best bike shop in town, reasonably priced, great and expedient service, with the extra TLC that makes it all worthwhile. Duncan and Jack are great guys, thanks for the tune up! Will be back soon, highly recommended.
