T&T Supermarket College Store

What can I say besides I'm impressed!
This t&t is like any other one but 10x more.
There is a snow baby bubble tea/ice cream shop on the first floor with seating. As you go upstairs, there are rows of produce, prepared items, and hot food as far as you can see!
The self checkout line is long but moves efficiently. The hot food selection is so large and the hours are fantastic (open till 10)!!!

Great supermarket! Coming here every week for groceries. They have plenty of options for seafood, meat, snacks and vegetables

This is one of the most modernized grocery store in Toronto. T&T definitely changed the way Chinese grocery stores were in the 90s and now they carry a variety of different items from around Asia.

The biggest problem for T&T being sold to Loblaws is the expanding price. For international students that are clueless they just pack the items into their cart but a lot of the items are basically Loblaw prices.

I still buy lots because Asians will always need to be Asian, craving Asian flavours and items. So we pay the price, however even if there are other stores items found in T&T are not replaceable like Japanese A5 waygu beef and Shine muscat grapes that are not found anywhere else.

Anyways they are good. Customer service is good.

Nice location! Lots of selection. Only went in for hot food in the kitchen buffet area, which was pretty good for the price. Food was fresh and looked very appetizing. Staff was friendly and helpful for the checkout process.

There were lots of cleaning supplies and stations equipped with hand sanitizer, which is a good sign. The eating area also has barriers to separate and distance patrons from each other while they dined in. Glad they opened up in this neighbourhood!

Lots of great Asian stuff here 😊😊 and they have those pork belly cuts that Farm Boy and Loblaws doesn’t. A must go! Hot food is good too!

Very cute location. It's tiny but it still has everything that you're looking for. All the associates are friendly and helpful. It is so nice to see that kind of level of service. The store is very clean. There's parking but they make you pay in advance and then you get a credit on your bill.

Edit (20220423): Seems they reconfigured the checkout area and added a security anti-theft sensor gate at the exit. Likely many thefts and they are trying to stay profitable.

Despite visiting this new store the second weekend since opening, this T & T is still very busy. Not much room inside to physically distance, but everyone inside is wearing a mask. The hot food buffet is nice. Reminds me of Europe or that restaurant Marche or something. Plenty of excellent choices. There is a check in for your personal grocery shopping carts. Probably because there is no room and likely worried people might "forget" they have another item on the bottom of the cart. The lineup to checkout is busy in waves. There is someone there to direct traffic and the self checkout counters have attendants watching to help customers. Daughter selected a pink "piggy" cake, but it looks like a cat to me. Overall, it was nice. Will likely come back again.

Clean and good selection of Asian food. Very organized and well kept.

Please bring your own bag. They do sell the reusable bag for $0.40.

They have a self-serving food counter. I wish they could cook them less oily and change the menu from time to time because its the same menu for 3 years already.

Beautiful store with fresh produce. Love the cut fruit section!

The grocery snack aisle is also one of my favorite.

Also noticed that there's a brand ambassador that is providing help and support to customers. Great job T&T.

This is the newest location opened in 2021.
The supermarket is pn the 2nd floor accessible by elevator s and escalators.
On the ground floor, they only have a dining area (see photos).
The supermarket sells items from China, Japan and Korea with very limited number of local items.
They have various fish-tanks offering (live) seafood, food beverages, kitchenware, cosmetics and toiletries.
They also have a variety of ready to eat foods (such as rice wrapped in a leaf) and a buffet offering various good quality and inexpensive Chinese food and some soups.

I happened to pass by T&T at this location while I was in Downtown. This T&T is located at a very convenient location. This store is a good size and it covers everything you need. I can buy any fresh goods, dried items and cooked food in one stop. The store is very clean and well organised. It is definitely recommended if you need to buy grocery and live in that area.

T&T is definitely Canada's one-stop-shop for everything Chinese. Their countless locations make it a breeze to find one in any city. What's not to love? 1-Their ready-to-eat section is a #Lifesaver. You can easily grab some dim sum, roasted duck, chicken, or self-serve dishes - a real time-saver! 2-They're totally in sync with modern Chinese trends. If it's hot in China right now, you're likely to find it on their shelves - no time lag! While honestly, you might not find the cheapest deal for every single item, the general value for money is unbeatable.

Great location, super clean store, fresh groceries and nice staff! One of my favourite things is that they have various birthday cakes🎂, desserts🍰, and self-serve cooked foods🍱. Even we get there at 9:30pm, it’s super crowded, and we have to do a quick shopping before their closure at 10. Really hope they can close at 11 someday in the future.

This is a pretty large asian supermarket (owned by Loblaws group) which carries as lot of Asian products and brands which are not easily found or competitively priced. They have fresh seafood, vegetables, produce and frozen goods, dried goods, etc which are very clean and hygenic. The entire place is very brightly lit and clean.

If you check out the weekly flyers, you will find great offers with pretty much a fair range of stuff on sale, from seafood to vegetables to household items each week. Do watch out for 11.11 sale items as they are really good and run out very fast.

Do note that the prices are a little higher than your regular Asian supermarkets but I guess this is a function of being large and having a really wide range of products.

A big plus is that they sell cooked food, roast meats, bakery items so you can pretty much get everything you need here in one place.

This supermarket provides a well-organized and inviting shopping experience. It specializes in Asian cuisine, offering a variety of fresh produce, exotic spices, and pantry staples. The staff is friendly, making your shopping trip enjoyable. The store places a strong emphasis on food safety, ensuring the quality of its products.

T&Ts never let me down. Clean, bright, staff are helpful. The ladies at the ready made food section are especially lovely and provide great service.
Other than it being smaller and can get easily crowded during busy hours, this location is the same as any other. Great selection of everything, especially snacks.

T&T Supermarket is seriously the most convenient Asian market near U of T! They have a fantastic selection of supplies, and here's the best part: the cashiers are fluent in Chinese, Cantonese, and English. As a native Chinese speaker, it feels great to be able to converse in my mother tongue while shopping. It's just such a relaxed and hassle-free experience, knowing that I can communicate comfortably.

Finally got into the new T&T. First impressions is the missing smell of rotting fish is gone. I'll definitely go back. Although smaller area it's clean and easier to find. If you plan a trip go early morning and parking not an issue. Remember the new tiny 2 car spots all along college street not shopping friendly. There's also parking underground and you get free parking with a purchase.

Great asian grocery with amazing selection of food. The volume is very high. When I visited during lunar new year the line was all the way around the store!

Great selection of pan-asian grocery!! Grabbed some tteokbokki and assorted dim sum for this week's meal planning.
