I hadn't been in to see Mike (I believe is the owner) in quite sometime. My visit was just as good as when he was in town. If nobody else knows, Mike will. When I was in the store it was jam packed with everything so I suspect if no one else had it Mike would lol. Something like Bob's, (AKA Billings hardware) downtown Brockville. If Bob didn't have it nobody had it. The store, the fish tanks and bird cages were all clean AND the customer service was phenomenal. Mike is very knowledgeable in all aspects of pet care and I trust what he says. I was so glad to find Tropic Island Pets still open; it really is the old school pet shop. AND there's something to be said about the number of years Mike's been serving us. He placed a bird in my hand many, many years ago and got the sale and yesterday was like Deja vu when I brought home Pebbles and Bam Bam. Hats off to you Mike, job well done!

This quaint pet store on H#29 going into Brockville has great prices n knowledgeable staff. I really enjoy buyg aviary items n pet dishes n waterg bowls n timothy hay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The store is small, as a result quite crowded. Lots of animals in cages, but they were all clean and everyone looked happy and healthy. No dead fish floating, which you often see in fish stores. I bought some aquarium plants and brought home a lot of pest snails and a scud that hitchhiked a ride in, luckily I quarantined first. Prices were competitive. I prefer to shop in locally owned stores, however, I won't throw my money away. I'll definitely be back.

This is the only pet store I go to. The owner is very helpful and lets me walk around and shop without bugging me unless I have a question. Always answered my question with honesty and I love their selection of fish. If he doesn't have something I want. He will order it for me if possible.

Great pet store with the best fish selection around. All the animals and fish looked very healthy and well taken care of and I didn't lose a single tetra I purchased after moving into my tank.

I have been shopping here for many years, at the original store and this one. The owner Mike is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Yes the store appears cluttered at first, but it is a small store and he carries just about everything. I would recommend Tropic Island pets to anyone in the area.

LOVE THIS PLACE! This is my local, go-to pet store. They specialize in aquatic pets. I go here at least once a week, usually on fridays (shipment day-NEW FISH DAY!). I look forward to my trip all week long. It is actually the highlight of the week for my boyfriend and I. The man working there is also very personable and knowledgeable. They also have very reasonable pricing, compared to other big-chain

I go to Tropical Island Pets because he has everything that I need. I went to the one at our mall and almost all of there fish were not for sale ??? Atleast I know when I go to tropical Iland I know almost 100%of the time I get what 8m looking for. There fish and pets are all very well taken care of there and never sick. I recomend this pet store 100%.

Great place to get healthy fish (guppies are awesome) and even a couple hamsters! Great place to get advice as well. Very helpful!
