I believe you can hardly get better value than Snow Creek Village in Sun Peaks. Here's why:

A lot of the units back into green space and the valley trail (a part of the trail that is not very dense populated which in winter is particularly great but enough to not feel like a cougar might hunt you :) ). Our kids get out of our unit, hop on their sled and off they go sliding on a light incline about 500m down on the valley trail :).

This complex is so close to the village that it feels in the village but far enough that is incredibly quiet.

Strata has been doing a great job at upkeeping this complex.

Talk about prime location in a year round resort, this is it.

Assuming you have an average walking pace here's what you get:

In winter:

- from a lot of units, pop your skiis/board on from the back patio and slide down to the main lifts and the heart of the village. Once your legs feel like noodles, slide right back into your private hot tub. Unless you own/rent one of the million dollars estates north of this complex I challenge you to find a better ski in/out than this in Sun Peaks.
- 30 seconds walk to NHL size ice hockey rink
- 1 minute walk to the Sun peaks plaza with a kids playground, fire pits, and large soccer field (which generally also unofficially dubs as dog park heaven) and an indoor gym
- 2 minute walk to the village and all Sun Peaks has to offer
- 3 minute walk to convenience store OR liquor store
- 5-7 minute walk to the health clinic or the base of the lifts

In summer:

-same as above but now you hop on to your mountain bike and ride to the lifts OR you hop on to your road bike and ride the Valley Trail (great place for kids to ride their bike safely)
-the NHL rink becomes a large area where your kids can: ride a scooter, play some basketball, you name it (it's a huge hockey rink with no ice on it) :)
- the kids playground and soccer field is still there but now you also have some picnic tables, a nicely sized outdoor swimming pool and the gym (1 minute away)

All in all, this is a really neat place to be spending some time in Sun Peaks.

Very good location!!! Loved the ski-in/out and proximity to the village, accessible by foot. The studio was perfect for two of us.The boot warmer was a life saver given the sub-zero temps. The kitchen was well appointed and the hot tub was in good repair and clean. We had an issue with the storage locker and topofthemountain was very responsive.

Great accommodations at a reasonable rate!
If you're going during the summer, bring a portable fan. I don't know about other units but the one we got only had heat, no ac.
It was very hot on our first night due to the heat wave but the rest of our stay was fine.
Great views!

We booked this last summer, and going in knew it would be pretty awesome, having been in a similar place last year.

The townhomes are conveniently located, well furnished, and spacious. We had parking for three cars, and slept 10 people! It was an easy walk to the village, but the kitchen is perfectly stocked if you want to stay in.

Stayed at unit 46; awesome location. The humidifier penguin and little touches make this place great. Would recommend, will go again.
