Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre

My daughter and I just returned from a five night stay at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel. We had such a great stay! It started out a little rocky because there was a lot of noise coming from the room next to us but the front desk was very understanding and allowed us to switch rooms. Even though the new room was right next to the elevators it was very quiet - one of the most quiet hotel room stays I’ve ever experienced! The ski valets were very friendly and efficient. We were impressed with the breakfast buffet. I think they had almost every type of breakfast food covered and then some! The staff was continuously bringing out fresh items even later in the breakfast service. This was our first ski in-ski out experience and the location couldn’t have been better. We were close enough to pop-in and use the hotel restroom when needed. This was our first vacation in five years and it was so great that we’re hoping to come back next year. Thank-you to everyone at the Grand!

Of of course the hotel and mountain are absolutely gorgeous but the real five-star award goes to the staff of the Sun peaks Grand Hotel and resort. They are so friendly and helpful and always had smiling faces. I want to thank the management at the Grand for having such a fantastic staff working for them. Obviously there is been a lot of training involved as well.

Our trip was amazing. I couldn't of asked for a better team of staff to make our experiance better. From reservations, concierge, Lauren (and team), Jess and Yad making my daughter's birthday extra special to the kitchen staff going above an beyond to make sure our food was celiac safe. They were quick to accomidate at the buffet breakfast when notified. Food is labeled for dietary restrictions but don't hesitate to reach out if there is a cross contact issue! They have gluten free bread and a seperate toaster in the back and are happy to accomidate. The staff made some amazing birthday hats for my daughter's birthday celebration at the restuaraunt. Alot of hard work went into it and the little details really made our stay extra special, thank you so much! We both appreciate all the details each staff member provided. Recently stayed at the hotel and had a wonderful experience. The cleanliness of the facilities was impressive, and the staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. The swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub exceeded expectations, providing a perfect way to relax after a day of activities. Additionally, the convenient access to the ski area made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Sun Peaks is just spectacular, and our experience at the Grand certainly didn’t disappoint. Friendly and attentive service, welcoming environment for our dog, and well appointed room…what more could you ask for? Definitely recommend!

We started our trip rather stressful as our vrbo host didn't give us our check in details and my family of 6 was scrambling for accommodations. Ran into an old friend Eric who runs the culinary division for the Grand and Sun Peaks Resort, and he contacted the Grand for us and they were able to secure us a 2 bedroom suite right away. The service, location, room, food and facilities are all 10/10! I can't recommend it enough. The Grand in Sun Peaks will be our go to spot moving forward!

We came up for a post-wedding getaway during the off season (October) and we had an amazing stay. The price for mid-week, during the quiet time was incredibly reasonable. We had a king suite with a mountain view, the room had a balcony, fireplace, and separate tub/shower. The room was nice and clean and cozy, we tried every single Nespresso offered at the coffee station.

The hot tubs were the perfect temperature (couldn't get the jets going for some reason but tbh that's not a big deal). The rest of the amenities were quite nice, didn't get into the sauna this time but that's what next visit is for.

The staff were wonderful, friendly, and attentive. Larry with guest services truly made our stay something special, he was so great to chat with. If you ask him for dinner recommendations, listen to his advice! We are already planning our next trip back.

Simply can't beat the location. Staff have been great. Makes me laugh that I bump into more Aussies than the resorts in OZ, Ha Ha.
The concierge was really accomodating making sure we had a Christmas tree all decorated in the room for the kids. Food so far has been pretty good and nowhere near as expensive as I had expected. I still have to get used to the tax being added at the cashier, but it is still much cheaper.
Hotel ski valet is a great facility, saving you lugging your skis up and down every day.
Views out the window of Mt Morrisey and the village walk all lit up are breathtaking. We've been planning our tracks for the next day each evening whilst looking up the mountains.

Sun Peaks really is a cracking place for a ski holiday and the Grand really is one of the nicest places weve stayed.

We were welcomed by Sophie, who was very friendly. Sophie was knowledgeable about the resort, hiking trails, and places to eat. Our room was a fantastic size, very comfortable with a smart bathroom too. The complimentary products were very good. Nice pool and sauna. Only negatives are window sills need decorating to inside (flaking paint) and enclose the restaurant with glass panels to stop the smell of cooking reaching through the reception.

A beautiful stay, awesome outdoor hot tubs, lovely room and friendly, attentive and lovely service. Thanks to Sarah and the team for welcoming us and for the incredible experience!

Beautiful room, super clean. Everybody top friendly, hotel staff going above and beyond, especially Sarah and Shiv were real superstars. Me and my daughter enjoyed the pool and the 3 hot tubs. Fantastic location and beautiful mountain views. Very comfortable bed and room has AC. Well maintained and clean hotel. Fantastic management.

Everything was perfect. Fair rate, Super friendly welcome at front desk, tge hotel staff is friendly and smiling, wonderful comfortable rooms, very clean, the village was quiet in the low season, but we did not mind having some peace. This place is on our list for a longer stay.

Amazing staff, very friendly and they do a great job. Hotel is starting to show some wear, it's clean, convenient and just like everything else... overpriced.

Wow! This hotel had it all. The staff were so welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is stunning. Our rooms were gorgeous. A great location. We only stayed for a night, but absolutely loved it.

A very nice place to relax and energize. One of the best sky resorts in British Columbia.

We had a ski vacation here. It is a nice hotel, cozy and quiet. The room temperature was perfect to have a good night. Ski in and ski out, super convenient. Staff was always there to assist us to store/retrieve ski gear, absolutely efficient, taking less than half a minute.

The Mantles restaurant in the lower level was nice. We had delicious breakfast buffet with fresh salmon and sausage. Also had impressive burgers 🍔 for a lunch.

Stayed here while running the 5K Foam Fest. Hot tubs were perfection, and the location is ideal for the village. My room was immaculate except for a damp spot on the carpet, but housekeeping was able to assure me they had just carpet shampooed that location, and all was well. The bed is firm but soft, and the bountiful pillows were perfect. I slept like a log after the event and really enjoyed my stay here. The only thing missing was water for the hotel rooms, but the tap water was very, very good and the ice machine was close by.

Beautiful luxury hotel nestled in a mountainous valley only 40 minutes away from Kamloops. The rooms, amenities and restaurants are all awesome and accommodating. The housekeeping team in particular was outstanding and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

10/10 totally not haunted.

What a treat our stay was at the Grand. Upon check-in, we were greeted by two charming young ladies Emily and Sarah. They took care of us with precision and in the kindest way. Thank you to both of them! We'll be back!
