6 star service here.
Richard went above and beyond in making us feel at home for Easter weekend. Friendly conversations, recommendations and he made sure we were having a good time
The breakfast was tasty and a large selection of movies and games to play.

The staff and especially Richard the full time manager are very personable and super friendly in a good way. Richard takes the initiative to get to know your first names and makes conversation that provides that you’re at home kind of feeling.
The kitchen is not in the room, but there is a beautiful dining area with access to microwave, hot water, teas and confectionery. There is a barbecue off the dining area for you to use.
The rooms have a sizeable fridge, no freezer, but there is a large freezer in the hallway for use.
The public area also has a lounge area upstairs for you to invite guests and play games. It’s quiet with great access to the walking path to Sun Peaks resorts. It’s a short walk to ski day use lodge and a bus stop if you need it.
The hot tub sauna, and gym were clean. I gave 4 stars for location only because is isn’t right on the hill, but perfect because it close and quiet.

Truly 5 STARS isn't enough. This place felt like something out of a movie. Everything from my first encounter with Pinnacle via phone to the moment I drove away was wonderful. The customer service Richard and the staff provide is top tier. They are all friendly, very informative, and helpful. Being our first time in Sun Peak during off season we weren't sure where to start. We got ton of recommendations provided and great information to make our trip what we wanted. The breakfast was better than many restaurants or home cooked meals I have ever had. I think the only thing I wish was for the opportunity to eat more of their delicious food. We knew on the first day it was the best vacation ever and our minds never changed. We already are talking about returning and I can't even wait. It's great for the whole family!

Just outside the main village but walkable. Free shuttle when needed. Technology is a little dated.

An amazing experience. Great value. So close to the village that it is an easy walk to get there. The staff are friendly and attentive. The morning breakfast are tasty and fulfilling. They have tons to do from skiing, hiking, biking, golfing and shopping. So glad we took the drive to come up!!

We took a chance and booked this blindly through our interval membership. Absolutely no regrets!

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are super clean and well maintained, the views are spectacular! Our room had a nice big balcony to hang out on and gaze at the mountains in front of you.

The breakfast included with the room was great! Little perks like a gym, use of snow toys, board games and puzzles in the rec room, ski lockers, and fresh fruit in the lobby!

A one minute drive, 5 minute walk to the hill. About 2.5 hours from Kelowna airport, and 40 minutes from Kamloops. Free parking.

Richard the main guy there was amazing, friendly and went above and beyond and gave lots of ideas on things to do. The lodge was very clean, beautiful views and amazing breakfast every morning with a great selection for everyone. Hot tub and sauna felt wonderful. Bikes, and kayak available to use. Washer and dryer available with everything you need at no charge. I highly recommend this place.

This place never disappoints! It's our home away from home. Breakfast every morning, an afternoon tea and the lodge at our disposal any time! Richard, the resort manager, was so helpful in assisting us with setting up a fondue - all the pots, dishes and forks are available at the resort. All we did was bring the food and clean up - Richard did the dishes! Amazing 👏 See you next year!

Our group of 9 had a great weekend stay at Pinnacle Lodge. Richard and staff were awesome! So hospitable and Great service! The morning breakfast was excellent and afternoon tea and goodies were perfect after a day of skiing. We also enjoyed relaxing in the evening and playing some cards in the upstairs loft. We will be back!

I stayed at the Pinnacle Lodge in Sun Peaks from Friday 8th of July to Sunday 10th of July and it was amazing. Richard is the property manager of the facility and he was welcoming, knowledgeable along with being extremely courteous! The entire staff was exemplary. The breakfast was very good and plenty, I cannot recommend a better place to stay next time you're at Sun Peaks. The lodge is just a five to seven minute walk to the village on a path which is perfect! Thank you RICHARD to you and your staff for making our stay one to remember.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had an unforgettable experience, What an amazing lodge! As other reviews have mentioned, the manager Richard is absolutely phenomenal. He truly makes you feel at home, and makes sure every single need is met. You can tell he truly loves his job! We loved the different breakfast options each day and enjoyed the daily tea time. Other reviews have complained about paying for this feature but we thought it was well worth the price. The spa and gym are well-kept, the views are spectacular, and the staff are hospitable. They have DVDs you can loan, bikes you can ride, and a bbq to use if you want to cook your own dinner! No dinner on site but as Richard explains, it ensures that the lodge is a quiet experience for only the guests (no external foot traffic travelling in and out). Sun Peaks Ski hill and restaurants are a 2 minute drive or short walk away. They only provide shampoo, conditioner and body soap on request (helps to lessen waste). We were fully satisfied with our stay, thanks again Richard!
*please be aware the resort is not wheelchair accessible, although there were a few people with canes who managed to get up the stairs to the upper lounge and rooms*

2 visits within a month. Very clean and comfortable. The host, Richard, goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a great time. Lots of activities to do (dvd library, board game and puzzle library, gold course, ski hill, hiking). Complimentary tea and snack in the afternoon and a full breakfast in the morning (cooked to order). Beautiful grounds. Can't say enough good things about this property and staff.

Enjoyable location, well positioned close to the village. The key to everything that works on this property is the VI Property Manager Richard. His friendly nature and responsive approach to any questions or concerns is impressive.
Rooms are comfortably laid out with a fireplace and an outer deck to view the scenery.
Snowshoes available for guest use along with washer/dryer facilities.
We used the indoor sauna and outdoor hot tub, both well maintained.
Breakfast served in the morning and tea time snacks in the afternoon are tasty and relaxing.
Will return to try a green vacation in the future.

We lucked out and booked this place without knowing much about it. Turns out it's a secret gem out of the usual stays you have in Sun Peaks. The staff was amazing. Check in be checkout was perfect. They check you in around 3:30 and 4 and you get tea and a full assortment of snacks. The rooms were very clean. To top it all off you get a full breakfast in the morning. A two course breakfast I might add. We booked just to spend the night and what we got was a special experience. We will always be looking for this spot on our summer stays in the future.

We stayed 2 nights at the Pinnacle and it was awesome. We arrived late but Richard had set everything up for us so that we could find our rooms easily. Breakfast was delicious and afternnon tea was such a nice way to end the ski day. Richard couldnt have been nicer and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend.

The Pinnacle is an excellent experience from beginning to end. The manager Richard is the perfect host, and went above and beyond in every aspect of my stay. He is a replica of the butler in Mr. Deeds. The price of our stay was very competitive and affordable, and provided many more cozy and homie amenities that other hotels at Sun Peaks do not offer. Beautiful views and delicious restaurant quality breakfasts, tea time, and other events made my stay the perfect getaway.

Lots to unpack here. There is a wide gamete of things to do. Leave it up to yourself to personally explore the natural beauty sun peaks has to offer. All I have to mention though was the management and staff were bar none the best well mannered and happy people you'll ever meet. It's a luxury to have genuine smiles and genuine kindness towards the guests such as myself and family. I really hope to come back soon. Cheers.
